BlurryBoi replied to Leo Gura's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
When i was sick or scared in the middle of the night, my father waking up to take care of me (without any reluctance). (Protection, Care, Unconditional Acceptance, Help, Survival) Playing RPG with Legos with my brother, designing story together. (Complicity, Team, Unity, Significance, Play) Cooking a cake with my mother. (Complicity, Significance, Beauty, Creativity, Giving) I guess the earliest i remember would be just my mom noticing me to breastfeed me or to sing something for my todler-self. @Leo Gura Isn't Horny a form of Energy ? What if you Canalized this energy into giving energy to get more energy Sexual-Energy needs a Medium, i would assume that Ejaculation is Just ONE of Multiple Mediums.
-
There's something called "Sexual Transmutation" I haven't researched it yet but i intuitively feel that it makes sense Like Transmuting "The Shadow" Learning how to ReChannel/Canalize the "Horny-ENERGY" into Another form of Creation It makes me think of how you can ReChannel your "Victim-Energy" into "100%Responsibility-Energy" (instead of burning energy worrying & escaping reality, canalize it into figuring out solutions)

whoa i'm waay to involved in this video request but it's fun to think about it i think it would be a Great video, big potential

Finding the Essence of : what makes the Grind in videogames feel sooo effortless/flowing/motivating/rewarding & Figuring-out How To Apply this feature/perspective of the mind (for things like Ego-Development, Mastery, Habit-Building, Habit-Removing and other Abstract/Emotional Challenges that are Crucial to overcome to self-Actualize) I feel like this could Resonate a lot, with our generation and especially with you Leo. "Game-Thinking"... this could be empowering for A LOT of people

And what about "Adjusting the Right Level of DIFFICULTY" How hard it may seem is often (always) our ResponsAbility, we set our Expectations, we set our Goals/Milestones, we set our Deadlines We unconsciously set "the level of Difficulty" in our day to day life And then we either stagnate or feel overwhelmed Game-developers know the "formula" for how to set the right ammount of difficulty for every player at the same time (take WoW, or take a Doom with it's multiple levels of difficulty) "Boring-Easy-Moderate-Hard-Madness"
-
Or with Taking 100% Responsibility There is a way of doing it gradually, with milestones and short-term rewards for the short-term mind, that would be overwhelmed or just cannot always see the value Long Term

Like i remember when i was a kid i would cultivate EVERY SINGLE DAY my village on fcking clash of clans for like 20min But even now i struggle with cultivating my subconscious with 5-10min visualizations. « consistency is hard.. » Or is it ..?

When you Fail in a video-game you automatically try to Learn From It, what went wrong, what you did wrong, what will work better next time, etc But "in real life" most people panic, or shame themselves, or quit entirely.. Why do we take this attitude ?? Especially if the stakes are higher, it's more of a reason to learn from failure I'm sure there is a game-mechanic to apply in our life hat could help for this Like why do people love to to play fcking DarkSouls ?? Maaan this game is SO HAAAAARD, So Punitive, you litterally FAIL in a Frustrating way like 50 times every hour.. « - Yeah take my 60$ » But there is something here that people love and that keeps them playing for hours and hours anyway

There is also the "Randomness" in Rewards/Challenges/etc Like take for example building the habit of workingout : It's Predictable, always the same, you do the effort and thats all (you don't even see the progress if you dont track it) But if you applied the concept of Randomness (in an elegant way) it would Help you Build and stick to your habit Like idk i didnt give it much thought but you could have a little dice at home that you throw and if you hit the number 6 you get to eat an avocado (man... avocados are sooo tasty and healthy but quite expensive) Or you could get "XP" to invest in your "skill tree" (or "reward tree" that could be like i want to buy this thing and i need 125points, and your accomplishment just got you +25pts) (Only virtuous rewards ofc, because with rewards like "eat a cookie" you will want to short-circuit/hack the process and only eat the cookie.. But then again, there might be some Game-development Mechanics that prevent the possibility of just getting the reward without completing the quest)

I think there's concepts like "Flow" and "Fiero" at play, but there is definitly more to it

@Vagos i was prescribed Sertraline too (i stopped taking it long time ago), for depression. Because i used to numb myself every hour of the day (to escape), it fucked my dopamine levels (the motivation molecule in your brain). But it's not fucked forever, you can get your dopamine levels back to normal in a few weeks/months max if you get real serious about it. "Dopamine Detox" is a biiig part of the solution for you here. If you go all the way and make it a part of your lifestyle, this will without a doubt increase your motivation A LOT. Here's a link for you to start your researches : https://overthinkersjourney.com/the-right-way-to-do-dopamine-detox-fasting/

When doing the assignments about what is most Meaningful in life, i found "Sadness" to be one of the Most "Meaningful" things for me. Not "depression/apathy sadness", i mean real SADness, more like sadness from the Heart. I don't understand what it implies, what does it mean, what should i do why this ? Thanks

It would make sense that Practicing awakening from dreams (lucid-dreaming) can be a powerful tool for awakening from "real life" Imagine being so conscious of dreams that you just sit in awe/meditation in your dream, knowing its all you Are all enlightened master, enlightened is their dreams ?
-
Interesting af !!! Since i was a child i always had a deep feeling that there is something extremely important about learning the "game" of dreams, lucid-dreaming for lucid-living. It makes sense if "real life" is some sort of dream-state as well I feel that there is a lot to learn from "dream science" that we can't learn directly from real life

@martins name tough question, i'd say i long for Love Do you mean that this mean my life purpose is around love rather than sadness ? I agree that love is one of the most meaningful things, but i feel sadness is very different, a different form of "meaning"

This answer kept coming back, and feels very authentic/genuine, and i really don't feel it to be toxic But it keeps me wondering about it

He made one, it's called "how to deal with confusion"

A motivational speech to slow down the vicious circle's momentum, and get back up when we are in our lowest points in our lives (those weeks/months when we spiral down in self-destruction/hopelessness/powerlessness, those periods where self-improvement/discipline/spirituality go out the window). Everybody is going to have those periods in their life. It would greatly help litterally 99% of your audience. Juuust a few hundred thousands of people not much ay
-
At least 90% of your audience is filled with so much subtle/sneaky toxic particles that stay forever in our body and we don't even know about it Not about "what foods to eat", or "what impact it has on us" (we know that those tiny substance have a big impact. I think its easy to get lost in this type of talk for 60min+), but mainly about "how to remove all the shit thats keeping us stuck in a low consciousness state") That will help your teachings to be understood 10 folds
