Germany did loads of pennance type ceremonies and rituals to help clear it's karma. White South Africans have done some but not enough. At some point Israel will need to do the same. I dont think it's true that God doesn't care or just abandoned. Think of it like this, your point of view on life right now means the world to you, but to me your point of view doesnt even exist. That says something about how serious we take our own point of view. God's point of view must be caring with a capital C. Usually we only realize that after the fact.

It's easy to be spiritual in the cave. Most teachings talk about coming down the mountain again. Being of service in one way or another. It's good to have an honest look at the resistance, spiritual ego, and fears around being an active member of society again.
