Cool, thank you for sharing. Yeah, somehow when I was listening to Jim I got very hung up on reaching this moment of final death. But since I've been listening to Emerson, there's more of a sense of going with the flow, not knowing at all. I already feel quite empty, but there's probably still some residues. I like the idea of just walking up one morning, gone, and having no recollection of some final moment who knows.

@Mellowmarsh I am curious, how did you know that the me died completely 'when it happened' ? I know Jim talks about a contracted energy in the body that wasn't there anymore. Yet I know Emerson doesn't like using that term contracted energy.

Beautiful (Emerson says he wants to slap people in the face when they say this no me thing is like a denial. In fact he says without the me, life is more intense in a way, in the sense that emotions are experienced even more intensely, like a child that cries freely. There's no filter. But it's easier in the sense that there's no resistance, like frictionless living.)

Not really. There's just a sense of not knowing anything right now. Even the word God dont make any sense. (so the whole notion of having the desire to realize oneself as the mind of God just isn't there)

He's a bit different from Jim. Emerson doesnt make any claims as such.

I watched an interview they did with that AI actress. Interviewer asked, so what's it like to know that you are not real ? And then i thought to myself, we not that different, we are like walking talking language models. Emerson has a nice way of getting people to pop out of the mind, ie whats always already the case. He just helps them to lift the veil of language.
