Yeah, it's like Jim and Tony's message removes the 'I' that wants to claim that it is God.

I hear you, I think they teach this specific message because it's actually really effective in melting away the sense of a separate self. (More so than anything else I've found) It seems to be rare to meet someone where that sense of separate self has died completely. Im actually beginning to feel that should be a prerequisite before we start making claims that we are God etc. Yes, he does use the term indescribable mystery, and also the term pure anarchy and unconditional aliveness. And also "this can appear as anything". I have a feeling he may have gone deeper than you think. The teaching is lean simply because it's really effective that way.

Another one I like is: it makes no difference to reality whether I live for another minute, another 5 years, or another 50 years. Once again this can be interpreted in nihilistic ways. But it can also lead to a tremendous amount of fear leaving the body system. And thus the leading of a beautiful life.

I actually think there's quite an ease to this message. The female interviewer seemed to want to talk about every intellectual concept under the sun, accept the actual message. Which was understandable, it was like two different worlds coming together.

I think he just got impatient because she wasn't listening. She would immediately fire away with a counter question, without allowing for split second to let the message sink in at all.

That's the same podcast that interviewed Leo once. Jim got a bit impatient towards the end.

Reminds me of Jim Newman's claim that there's actually no consciousness as such. As opposed to most other teachings that say that it's all just consciousness. What they call Consciousness, he just calls indescribable mystery.

It's fascinating watching people running up against a type of brick wall during the interviews.

Yeah, he's pretty down to earth. It's a radical message nonetheless.

Im curious, how would you describe the energy of these orbs, how do you feel when they are around, is it like a palpeable energy, like metaphysical love etc ?
