If you mean from a big picture point of view, ie a neccessity to save us from self destruction in late stage capitalism, then yes. But i still dont see it as evolution in the sense of a mechanical forrest somehow being just as good or better than the original blueprint. Lets not underestimate the otherwordly genius of nature.

Im still not sold, no art has ever quite captured the full experience of sitting in a natural forrest. There's a reason why God is called the ultimate artist. But I would be curious and willing to give your mechanical forrest a go when it's ready, then we can compare notes.

When humans actually change, things can change quite quickly for the earth. For example, when all the people living next to a river stop their polluting at the same time, it just takes one new flow cycle from the source for the river to get clean again.

And you said that would lead to WW3. So if the tech oligarchy dont do the UBI thing, wouldn't they be committing suicide ?

@Leo Gura If 95% unemployment will lead to WW3, the whole planet is screwed, including the tech bros. What makes you so certain that UBI won't become a reality ? (out of pure practical necessity) The first time I heard the concept, was from Andrew Yang, who himself comes from the tech world. Giving money to unemployed citizens is not a new thing, ie the dole in the UK for example. Plus if AI truly lives up to its potential, UBI should be quite easy to achieve.

Im not saying solipsism is true, but I dont quite see how this reasoning proves solipsism to be false either ? "There is no others, there is only yourself" sounds very much in line with solipsism also.

AI type governments might be a solution to all these issues, ie whats the most effective way to run things based on systems theory etc.
