  1. Even though it feels that simple on the surface, it's still so hard to fully understand it. Maybe I'm just overthinking it ?
  2. I think the relevance of my question has more to do with whether the past should affect us at all. Knowing that it's all just a divine interplay between unity and division, love and fear, ultimately leading towards unity, nothing of which you have to take personally at all. Just become the observer and all the things which are being observed.
  3. Thanks, I am starting to see this now... But there is still a structure and intelligence of what " happened" and can see it fundamentally as an interplay of unity and division, fear and love... Which is still marvelous to see even in our imagination..
  4. For example, when we see a red item one day, will it be the exact same red when we see it another day, or will be a slightly different shade of red? Or can two identical things exist or is reality just a infinite gradient of differences?
  5. Yes, I am the space, the space is filled with air molecules which connects my body and everything within my bubble of perception.. even if i were in outer space, the vacuum is still filled with things, even things that we can't currently perceive with our current instruments which connects me to everything I'm directly perceiving.. its consciousness connected to consciousness connected to consciousness... And all the cool things within this "space" is an artistic expression of who I am
  6. yes, its all interconnected, space is what connects things, boundaries are a relative thing.. but maybe within this infinite gradient of differences can exist two identical things while obviously not being fully identical because of the coordinates, like two exact same shades of red.
  7. Hmmmm, they're both consciousness and therefore one, can still be distinct because of their coordinates or because they're different shades at some point within the boundary of each one...
  8. That makes sense, they are still different because of their differing coordinates, so at least one distinction exists among them to make them different though they are partially still the same.
  9. Leo keeps saying that thoughts aren't real, they're imagination, but isn't the present moment also imagination? whats the difference?
  10. Are there any sources that explains why some people are born into terrible poverty and other people are born in a 1st world country to great parents?
  11. How can I prove that reality can't be finite? I kept arguing with a materialist and I kept explaining to him that reality must be infinite because if reality was finite, then there would have to be a force enforcing the boundaries of our reality, and that force would also have to be explained, and so on ad infinitum... But he kept arguing that in fact reality can be finite and that could just be a brute fact about the universe, that there wouldn't have to be a force enforcing the finitude of our reality.
  12. So about a year ago, I decided to do a third eye meditation (by placing an amethyst stone on my third eye imagining purple light beaming at my pineal gland) right before going to sleep and on that night, I had my first ever lucid dream and 2 very strange dreams that I was walking about my house and seeing myself sleep in my bedroom. I just brushed off those experiences as a dream but now I'm starting to think that those were potentially out-of-body experiences. I wasn't lucid during those two 2 dreams but I've never had such a dream before.
  13. That's what I kept explaining to him, that only really through direct experience can you awaken to your true existential infinite self, as he just kept brushing it off at a hallucination and as something that can't be trusted. it was already obvious that he was making an ungrounded assumption about the validity of enlightenment. If you ever wanted to pursue any potential truth, it requires faith and radical open-mindedness, I have faith that I can have an enlightenment experience that is beyond "fantasy" and you'll just know, no further debate or explanation needed. And of course the metaphysical and epistemological theory helps a lot towards guiding you to truth. Great answer btw
  14. Do the actions we commit in this lifetime affect the circumstances of our life in the next?
  15. there is no me, im just pure consciousness/infinity/everything/nothing. But this ego that "I'm" currently experiencing is still probably connected to my previous lifetime and will affect the ego of my future one. Just wondering if anyone shared my same hunch or knew anything more
  16. Thank you But it's still a curious thing to ponder and my intuition says yes.
  17. The all or the absolute is a paradox, something beyond human understanding. So everything is just magic? You can see why this is so hard to explain to rationalists and have them take you seriously.
  18. Holy crap so it seems like it actually was, because i mean c'mon I did something really weird that caused 3 other really weird things to occur, they were obviously connect to my third eye meditation
  19. When we have a dream that we're in a bedroom, we don't assume that there must be other things going on outside of the bedroom within our dreams. So is it also the case that there's nothing going behind the scenes outside of my bedroom that I'm currently in right now in real life? This thought I keep having is creeping me out but it feels like this might actually be the case.
  20. I sorta get the reasoning behind infinity. That infinity is a paradox, 1 and 0 simultaneously, its a everything and nothing, everywhere and nowhere, everything is interconnected. But how does that imply that you're the only consciousness in the universe and no one else exists outside of my direct experience living their lives having their own direct experience? Would someone else having their own direct experiences outside of your own imply that the universe is dualistic and not infinite?
  21. One infinity with an infinite amount of smaller infinities for infinity, but you're that one infinity creating all the other infinities but are all you, that one infinity.
  22. "I'm" finite and infinite simultaneously. An incomprehensible mysterious paradoxical mindfuck. I wonder if God could ever know how he created himself. Yet creation and non-creation is a duality so inquiring what "isness" is might fundamentally have to always stay ultimately unknown.
