  1. Paypal is not available in the country i live in. Are there any other method available to pay for the booklist?
  2. The go to book, selfish gene, is kinda hard to read and understand and make sense of. Do no know any better book that explains evolution, that is more practical and on-point?
  3. Letting go attachments. Allowing oneself to fully feel negative/discomforting sensations. (Verses. Suppressing/denying them)
  4. I am really passionate about this online earning/ freelancing idea. Because there is no way in hell I'm going to make this thing work by doing traditional jobs. The system is designed against poor people in such a way that it would take like 50 years if I try the "conventional ladder climbing" approach. I like the arbitrage opportunity that freelancing creates. Freelancing, if I can do it right, will let me bypass this ladder structure and let make connections between the top of the ladder with the bottom (or really anywhere in the ladder). ➢ Bargaining/ negotiating with my traditional client/ boss won't do much good, because they themselves are suffering with their own financial situations. So even if I make them extremely satisfied with my work, I still won't going to make much, because they are not going to go out of their way (i.e. sacrifice their own financial well-being) to pay me good money "just because my performance made them super-satisfied." ➢ And also, the cultural philosophy of money here is shaped (by survival) in such a way, that you can't really charge much for anything in this area, it just seems and feels too much (for me and for the client). Every culture & person has a mental concept of: "how much money is normal." If you go further than that - it will seem too much for your service. They will find other person who will do the thing for them in a price which they consider "normal". ➢ It's also cool because I would be able to move with it. If I decide to move to a better, more-supportive country, I won't have to change my job or think about finding a new one, because I would still have all the necessary skills inside me, and it just requires a good quality laptop and internet connection to provide some appreciable value through these skills. ----------- @Thought Art @asifarahim @ivankiss @kinesin @Applegarden8 @Eternity @sda @Woke456 @jimwell , everybody, thank you all guys for your responses. I really appreciate it.
  5. thanks, @ivankiss. Just curious, which country you have been living for 2 years?
  6. @asifarahim You really inspired me. Thanks. Yeah, kind of sad. Truth be told, recently I have spent literally months googling and ended finding a torrented copy of Leo's LP course. I thought it was the only thing that could get me out of this hell. It gave some general direction about what should I do "in the big picture" with my life. But what's the point of knowing my top ten values if I can't even manage to get the basics. You have to first get the basic survival stuffs of your life handled before you to move onto the higher consciousness, spiritual, ariy fairy "Life Purpose" stuff, right?
  7. What can you do (to escape) if you are stuck in a super poor family in a third world country?
  8. @Logan I agree with you. Seems like you are into Robert Greene, like me. Did you read the "laws of human nature"? It's a masterpiece.
  9. i won't tell mine. But by following and reading many of the forum posts here, i can clearly state that A huge number of people's main purpose in life is to--bullshiting on the forum.
  10. Self mastery process never ends. Even if you had 500 hundred life times to do every thing that needs to be done "to become perfect", you won't be able to finish the process. It's infinite. You have two choices though, be paranoid about the whole thing, or accept imperfectness as a given. And work from where you are--with a steady development process.
  11. Choose not to be harmed--and you won't feel harmed. Don't feel harmed--and you haven't been.
  12. @martinka24241 "Turning balls into cats is the key to change. (the myth of cause and effect). Once, at a seminar with my mentor and friend John Grinder, he told his audience that their job was to turn balls into cats. The audience was asked the following question: "what's the difference between kicking a ball and kicking a cat?" Of course, the ball is a mechanical thing. And in the mechanical world you can use Cause and Effect use of thinking with great success. An engineer could measure and predict where the ball would end up after you kicked it if he knows all the variables that need to be measured. However, in the case of kicking a cat--forget it. You might as well throw the engineer out the window since all the rules that govern the physical world no longer apply. The idea of Cause and Effect in living systems is a myth and an illusion, and a very dangerous one I might add. Quite simply, the cat has choices, and the cat might attack first, run away or take the kick: who knows what the hell the cat will do? Cause and Effect implies that because of event X the response needs to be Y." -- Jorgen Rasmussen Victim = Being helpless/ having absolutely no control or power over your situation. You always have choice. Maybe you are not grown to the level where you will always be aware of it. But you ALWAYS have. I advice you to just recognize it. Love, Pericles
