@Rilles To top it off, there were slavery collars on display at an Eskimo artifact museum in Anchorage. It compltely ruined my day to find out that the movie Avatar is bunch of (hexpedal) horeshit.

Violence isn't unique to stage red. If someone is starving or going through withdrawl you may even say that it's stage Beige like with animals.

Contrary to Hollywood's depiction, there is nothing more disorderly and immature than tribal society. In one of the spiral dynamics books an observer of an Aborigine tribe witnessed a warrior stomping a toddler to death simply because he was in a bad mood. In another book, a linguist in the Amazon rainforest observed continuos squabbling, rape, kidnapping, and basically neverending gang warfare between groups. I also had a friend live with an island culture for a few weeks, and he said rape was pretty much a dialy affair. These people are not hippies who can call their moms for plane tickets home at any time. This isn't to say that stage Red societies didn't hold these same disorderly traits. When a commander loses control of his army, city sackings in the past have turned out to be extremely mindless and brutal even when the commander tries to reinstill discipline. It's also not to say that organized warfare is less brutal than disorganized warfare. No, organized warfare is much more effective, it's usually further away from home, and just because there's a designated torturer or exexcutioner doesn't mean they aren't using an organized system.

Stage purple also rapes, kills, steals, and stomps toddlers to death. The key difference is training, discipline, and rank.
-
You may argue that the phalanx is the one of the earliest differences between red and purple. Leo's mafia example doesn't really cover any of the good aspects of this stage. Rank, structure, and discipline are the key differences between the city-states and barbarian tribes. While their ethics don't follow a universal book or code yet, they still are a lot more mature and less petty than tribespeople. Even if they're more effective at destruction

I think they also found IQ and the Big Five traits using empricism.

@Husseinisdoingfine Grind is only orange if it's creating exponential growth. If it's linear growth or maintenance, it's just stage blue. Thanos looks like he's proud of growing to the top of this particular Pareto distribution, lol. Albeit, Rolex's have been replaced by the Apple Watch.

If you organize or develop something by 1% a day, we get the following formula: (1+.01)^365 = 37.78 That's just one year, but after two years it's literally over 1000x

It doesn't say. It's just a graph with overall police shootings over 5 years broken down by race. That's why I compared the proportions against homicide rates. The real reason why blacks only make up only 30% of police shootings despite higher homicide rates could be anything. What if rural cops have itchier trigger fingers? The answer is we don't know. The fucked up part though is that if the numbers were reversed, you'd conclude systemic racism.
-
@Preety_India You don't have to, but it's clear to me that they intentionally displayed the homicide chart to make it feel like whites and blacks are equally distrubuted in murder offense. They could have easily made it look a lot more lopsided if they chose to visualize that blacks are 13% of the population and whites are supposedly 78%.

Homicide statistics by race: https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u.s/2018/crime-in-the-u.s.-2018/tables/expanded-homicide-data-table-6.xls Police Shootings by race: https://www.statista.com/statistics/585152/people-shot-to-death-by-us-police-by-race/ I don't think CNN wanted you to know this information.

Black people commit 50% of homicides but only makeup 30% of the police shootings.

By fasttracking, that means the Trump administration moved it to the front of the FDA's queue. That's all it means.
-
@DocWatts They spent quite a bit of money funding the vaccines and fast-tracked it for FDA approval. And lol, the Biden people's claim that there wasn't a game plan isn't a fact. It's a claim by a political campaign.
-
@DocWatts Lol, I'm pretty sure the US was one of the first countries to start delivering the vaccine.
-
They knew doctors should use it, and they also knew the Asians were using masks.
-
They actually said not to wear masks because there was a supply shortage, and they wanted to save the masks for doctors. But they lied about the reasoning for the first three weeks. Oh and lmao. You're saying the political opponents of trump are trying to take credit for vaccinations. Of course they said that because they want credit, not the Trump administration. This is like kindergarten level social dynamics that we all learned at age 3. There's also a number of factors besides urbanization in covid. Like, do old people live downtown or more in rural areas? Where are the obese people? I bet you there's more obese Americans than Belgians. Do Italians smoke more than Germans? Are Vietnamese used to wearing masks because they drive scooters in dusty or smoggy streets? Do Dutch people visit their grandparents? The answer is YOU don't know.

Stock options actually MOTIVATE insiders to make the company succeed. One of my criteria before investing is to see how much insider ownership the company has. They'll often move mountains to make the company increase sevenfold in value! -
The Pareto distribution means that 80-90% of Thespian income goes to 10-20% of actors. It's probably more lopsided than that like 99/1. Same thing with the music industry in that 99.9% of songs uploaded to the Internet aren't even played while Gangnam style has 4 billion views. I think if we stopped shitting on making money or calling stage orange toxic, a lot of people would go where the market asks them to go instead of demanding equity. And please allow to point out that you're talking about equity, not equality. Unforutantely, these two ideas are diametrically opposed.
-
The scientists told everyone not to wear masks for the first few months and states run by democrats were also devastated. Lol, where did you get the last line of your rant?
-
UK, Beligum, Italy, and Spain didn't manage it better.
-
If I'm understanding you correctly, you're saying the individual shouldn't be allowed to buy movies because the Pareto Distribution of the Big Screen makes it so only a small number of Thespians are employed?
-
Haha, you know other countries had Covid, too.
-
Capitalism is fine when you listen to the market. These people aren't.
-
@aurum @Leo Gura Actually, it's a LACK of understanding of capitalism that leads to this. Hollywood has a lot of attractive, competent people attempting to make it on the Big Screen or on the radio. Before they make it, they have to crowd out the low-skill wage market in the mean time. And most of them never even get there.
