Brendon is a so called motivation trainer, like many others in the world, and on the Youtube. I started to watch his videos first and after that I ordered his latest book. It is for free, the only cost is the shipping which is 7$. It arrived in 2 weeks from the US to Hungary, I am very satisfied. (sometimes we wait 1,5 weeks for a normal letter which is sent from a Hungarian town to another.) I would like to hear your opinions on this book. I find it very easy to read and understand and also thought-provoking. I wonder if Leo knows Brendon and if he does, what is his opinion.

Hello! Recently one guy from my town called me that he can offer me a "second job". I had a meeting with him and some of the "bosses" of this agency and the whole thing is an MLM, Multi Level Marketing. If you heard about it, especially about Amway, what are your opinions, experiences? Is it worthy to give it a try? Thanks!

Start learning Chinese right now, do no wait until everything gets "perfect", cause that moment will never come. But you can achieve your dream step by step.

It was such a sweet book, with a simple story but a deep spiritual meaning. I recommend it for "starters" who want to read something easy about fate and presence. I could read it in 3 nights just before sleeping and sometimes I had dreams about pyramids too :).

There are soo many videos and books about discipline and self control. I'm sure you can find a lot on the internet with useful ideas, but the most important is that everything depends on you. Be strong and have discipline, because you know what is good for you and what is unhealthy. Then why would you act in a wrong way? The keyword is awareness.

Good topic! What is your parents are not spiritual at all? I think this is the situation is most familes like mine. I know I can never force them to live more consciously. I think we shouldn't try to convince anybody but we can talk them without our ego. This way our presence may effect their actions and they can realize the difference between their averege life and a more enlightened life. (I'm not like a buddha at home at all, I mean just small but conscious things) So yes, maybe staying quiet and smiling can be a good plan. If somebody is telling bullshit things and you don't agree and don't react in any ways, that can be even more helpful than dishonest advice. I recommend Eckhart Tolle's videos on this topic.

one word: ACTION We can find a complicated psychological and social explanation on your struggle but at the end only one thing can help: if you get out of bed and apply for a job. And go there even if you don't feel like you want to..discipline..discipline.. and when you have some money you can go out and find a hobby which makes your life more fun. I know it's easy to talk about but hard to achieve. I hope you'll be fine, bro.

Funny how the ego fights agains consciousness. It's like when we label wealthy people as greedy, unkind men with hateful personalities. Not all rich people are bad people and not all enlightened people are monks who refuse every fun in life. If we wanna become one we need to like them and wish for their richness/awareness too. I think if one gets the idea of enlightment they can live their life normally but deeply they gonna be rooted in the stillness which makes their all life more enjoyable.

Building healthy habits in life every day. I mean by that eating, drinking too.. I think healthy body must be essential and after that we can start looking after our mind. If you have enough discipline, you can start positive visualization every morning and evening.

Sleeping in total darkness is said to be a good idea. As far as I know light blockes the production of some useful hormones during the sleep so it is preferable to turn off every light. (even the small light of the tv or phone charger) And of course a light dinner between 6 and 7 pm should be the best.. I find this rule pretty hard.

I don't think there is an ultimate answer on the coffee question. Even doctors have different opinions. I think every body reacts differently on the caffeine. It has an effect on blood pressure and on the brain so very hard to decide if it is a good think or an unhealthy habit. I enjoy 2 cups a day, only with a few milk in it and without sugar.

Cogito ergo sum - I think, therefore I am. An englightened person think this quote from Descartes is false. This sentence means the identification with ego. If we can observe that we are thinking, then we are something greater than our mind. It can be called consciousness. This is interesting to think about. -
Maybe we are..if all of our actions are predictable because of our past conditions and everything we do is because of biological and chemical stuff in our brain..then where is the free will? This is a different topic.

There should be an on/off button.. sometimes we want to turn off our minds and have a peaceful sleep. Fortunately it can be done if someone masters his psychology and meditates a lot. I'm not one of those lucky guys yet.

You're right. Although I am not a good dancer and I don't like dancing.. on metal concerts that dance is called "mosh" which is far from the expression of love and stillness. I really liked it though because it helps getting rid of stress and anger. Now maybe I'm too old for that and I just don't get too drunk so I don't feel like I want to be in a mosh. Avantasia is an awesome band, mate. But that's a "calm" metal band, not like Pantera or Killswitch Engage, which is an other topic.

What exactly are you doing wrong? Your speed is not enough? You cannot pass good enough? You don't score enough? I believe if you find out your missing skills, you can improve them one by one. Anyways, what sport do you play? Is it possible to talk about your issue with your coach? Maybe he can select you for a few minutes and it will give you some routine and confidence. I hope we can figure it out and find your talent.

Recently I was thinking about it too. A few years ago I was a very big rock and metal fan (however I still am) and I saw many concerts from the first row, I was really crazy and sometimes drunk. Now as I'm approaching life from a more spiritual point of view and this loud music and dancing (which is rather fighting in a metal concert) seems to be the opposite of stillness and enlightenment. Although during workout I think it can be good, if it is not too noisy and you still can concentrate on your excersise. As far as I know scientists says that gentle classical music can be helpful during studying.

Interesting to read but as Henri said, it seems to be a mixture of different beliefs and theories. What hypnotic elements did you recognize?

Nobody has lost his hair in my family and fortunately it seems like I'm lucky too. Yet last summer when I spent 3 months in the US at the end of the summer I started to lose lots of hair during shower. I was terrified, fortunately now I'm OK again. The reason must be a the poor quallity of food I ate all summer. I wouldn't say American food are much worse than Hungarian food but I ate only camp food and fast food... I know there are so many reasons of losing hair, but eating habits can play a huge role.

I would say this book and A new Earth are the basics of my knlowledge and faith about life. Since I know what ego and pain body is, I can be aware of it in every minute when it begins working in me or in other people. I cannot explain everybody why they are behaving such a way but I can choose to react in a more enlightened way and by not letting my ego and pain body to be activated. Eckhart's approach is a more spiritual way but probably points to the same goals like Leo, Brian Tracy does. If I could read only one book in my entire life, it would be one of Eckhart's books.

It helps the body to get rid of toxins. Much better for the stomach, especially after waking up.

If i lived in a city probably I would visit a gym once or twice a week. I need to commute every day and it would take too much of my time after school or work so now home workout is the best solution for me, but I think every beginner should start it at home. If you are determined enough you can go on the next step and buy a gym monthly pass. Most people are very enthusiastic in the first weeks and go to the gym but they still eat junkfood and they have no order and discipline in their days.

I think only a few equipments are needed: a pair of dumbbells, maybe a chair and that's all. If you have enough motivation you'll find so many videos and advices on the internet about working out at home. This is the cheapest and easiest way and this is how you should start working out. I started less than half a year ago but the results are already pretty good. I watch an episode of a series or watch a motivation video like Leo's during the training and it makes the excersises more fun.

I would recommend y'all to read about solipsism, which is a very radical way of thinking... and I think it makes everybody even more confused. Yet this is all about wisdom, the more you know, the less confidence you have about your knowledge... but making questions about existence is always the most exciting thing on the world.
