  1. Where do we draw the line between confidence and ego? Is it possible to have a form of healthy confidence, or is it all ego based?
  2. Short, sweet and to the point in less than 3 minutes
  3. I am vegetarian, currently in progress of going full raw vegan. It was recommended to me to watch in this particular order the following documentaries, all which can be found on Netflix or Youtube: Cowspiracy, Forks Over Knives then Earthlings. I started watching the last one and could not make it all the way though, hence my current transition. Too disturbing on many levels. It is a process, but one well worth it for all the reasons @Neill Bolton mentioned. Oh, and food for thought If you eat an animal that suffered, was stressed and slaughtered, think about the idea that the animal which endured those feelings and experiences once consumed becomes part of your DNA. Bad karma and bad for those seeking enlightenment
  4. Hello to everyone and thank you so much to @Leo Gura for this platform! I have been on the alternative path of study much of my life spiritually, mentally and most recently physically in diet changes. The mind/body/spirit connection can not be stressed enough, being a longtime student of Dr. Wayne Dyer who passed away last year. I felt lost upon his death, but no longer thanks to Leo. One practice of Dr. Dyer's is showing gratitude each day, and I am passing it forward now and will continue, as nothing should be taken for granted. I never really bought into the mainstream ways of thinking and found this exactly when I needed it most. As I writer, I do much research, quite possibly too much now that I have watched Leo's video "Why Rationality Is Wrong" I used to meditate a lot, but stopped making the time in the last year. Since watching Leo's meditation videos and using his recommendation of meditating 20 mins each day, I have newly found motivation, clarity and insight into my daily self growth! All of Leo's videos are amazing, thought provoking, insightful and I believe I have taken out some knowledge for growth from each one of them. I am not surrounded by many that share my same beliefs or practices, and was feeling quite isolated until I came here. I was stuck for some time and never realized until now how far I had gone astray with my progress. Then again, I guess that time needed to be taken for me in isolation to be where I am now There are certainly some fine minds that I have observed here and I look forward to seeing the progression of self-actualization, not only in myself but wishing all the best to others! It's a sincere pleasure to be here. I wrote this article on Ego after one of Leo's vids http://mentalnutrition.net/ego-a-shift-is-needed/ With Gratitude~ Jennifer
