@LastThursday Let's do some more woo woo:) The cognitive revolution of homo sapiens is a real puzzle for science. Harari writes about this in his book "Sapiens." Man and his history, especially ancient antiquity, hide more mysteries than there are chess openings. Maybe, however, someone intervened here with some ideas about improving this unruly ape ... and it turned out as it turned out. As the saying goes: we wanted the best, and it turned out, as always -

@Razard86 Um, sometimes you're too strict with your judgments. As if you saw reality in the 0-1 category. It's just that even there, infinity is hidden between 0 and 1. Sometimes you sound as if something within you tells you to defend the Ultimate Truth, but the truth is that no Truth needs defenders or adversaries. By allowing others to be who they are, you allow yourself to be who you are. So, provoke, and start heated disputes, but also give yourself and others some space. No one is infallible, and the truth is that we all have a long journey ahead of us. And as they say: better together. -

So, you are old indeed:) If you don't mind, I'll quote Bernardo Kastrup: "We live in times where our theories hijacked our experience - the only that is real." -

I should add that I have found the Kundalini Kriya techniques extremely turbo effective. They work really quickly if you adapt to the practice, accept the initial significant pain and discomfort, which gradually becomes less annoying as you practice, and recognize the mechanism that adds fuel to the fire in you... -
Kuba Powiertowski replied to Rasheed's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
In Kundalini Yoga, each Kriya learned should be followed by 40 days of practice in a row. Almost each Kriya ends in meditation, often in very uncomfortable body positions that you should remain for 20, 30, or 40 mins. This is connected with chanting mantras and breathing techniques. When you somehow manage to distance yourself from the continuous ego-mind narrative, then a few things happen quite often as I talk to my fellow practitioners: - gradual detachment from the body - up to complete out-of-body experience, - beingness - out of time and space - literally unspeakable, - experiencing ever-present kind of electric current flow of energy, - weird experiences from(?), I don't know, past? Like once, I had the experience of being a bee floating above/inside a flower... The sense of ever-present aliveness and lightness was overwhelming, and it wasn't easy to return to so-called reality, - sometimes, large amounts of energy are created that raise temperature of water in bowls, - visions of sharp fractal structures that shift their shape to emerge some familiar faces, landscapes... -

Dialogue between Ramana Maharshi and Paramhansa Yogananda Swami Yogananda with four others arrived at 8.45 a.m . . . The group had lunch in the Asramam. Mr. C. R. Wright, his secretary, asked: How shall I realise God? M.: God is an unknown entity. Moreover He is external. Whereas, the Self is always with you and it is you. Why do you leave out what is intimate and go in for what is external? D.: What is this Self again? M.: The Self is known to everyone but not clearly. You always exist. The Be-ing is the Self. ‘I am’ is the name of God. Of all the definitions of God, none is indeed so well put as the Biblical statement “I AM THAT I AM” in EXODUS (Chap. 3). There are other statements, such as Brahmaivaham, Aham Brahmasmi and Soham. But none is so direct as the name JEHOVAH = I AM. The Absolute Being is what is – It is the Self. It is God. Knowing the Self, God is known. In fact God is none other than the Self. D.: Why are there good and evil? M.: They are relative terms. There must be a subject to know the good and evil. That subject is the ego. Trace the source of the ego. It ends in the Self. The source of the ego is God. This definition of God is probably more concrete and better understood by you. D.: So it is. How to get Bliss? M.: Bliss is not something to be got. On the other hand you are always Bliss. This desire is born of the sense of incompleteness. To whom is this sense of incompleteness? Enquire. In deep sleep you were blissful: Now you are not so. What has interposed between that Bliss and this non-bliss? It is the ego. Seek its source and find you are Bliss. There is nothing new to get. You have, on the other hand, to get rid of your ignorance which makes you think that you are other than Bliss. For whom is this ignorance? It is to the ego. Trace the source of the ego. Then the ego is lost and Bliss remains over. It is eternal. You are That, here and now . . . That is the master key for solving all doubts. The doubts arise in the mind. The mind is born of the ego. The ego rises from the Self. Search the source of the ego and the Self is revealed. That alone remains. The universe is only expanded Self. It is not different from the Self. D.: What is the best way of living? M.: It differs according as one is a Jnani [knower] or ajnani. A Jnani does not find anything different or separate from the Self. All are in the Self. It is wrong to imagine that there is the world, that there is a body in it and that you dwell in the body. If the Truth is known, the universe and what is beyond it will be found to be only in the Self. The outlook differs according to the sight of the person. The sight is from the eye. The eye must be located somewhere. If you are seeing with the gross eyes you find others gross. If with subtle eyes (i.e., the mind) others appear subtle. If the eye becomes the Self, the Self being infinite, the eye is infinite. There is nothing else to see different from the Self. He thanked Maharshi. He was told that the best way of thanking is to remain always as the Self. Later the yogi [Yogananda] asked : How is the spiritual uplift of the people to be effected? What are the instructions to be given them? Maharshi: They differ according to the temperaments of the individuals and the spiritual ripeness of their minds. There cannot be any instruction en masse. Yogananda: Why does God permit suffering in the world? Should He not with His omnipotence do away with it at one stroke and ordain the universal realisation of God? Maharshi: Suffering is the way for Realisation of God. Yogananda: Should He not ordain it differently? Maharshi: It is the way. Yogananda: Are yoga, religion, etc., antidotes to suffering? Maharshi: Who suffers? What is suffering? (No answer. Finally the Yogi rose up, prayed for Sri Bhagavan’s blessings for his own work and expressed great regret for his hasty return. He looked very sincere and devoted and even emotional.) -

Forgiveness comes from acceptance, which comes from understanding. When you understand that existence is a process of continuous Self-learning, Self-discovery through an infinite number of forms and manifestations, there is nothing left but to accept all as aspects of oneness. From this perspective, there is nothing left to forgive. The whole existence appears as an endless journey of Self-discovery of what IS - perfect, eternal, and infinite. -

@Razard86 There's one more interesting stuff here - the concept or idea that to wake up from imagined fiction, one needs to take an equally imagined dose of imagined 5meo or do anything imagined, including yoga and meditation, to wake up. What The Fuck? It's like waking up from a normal dream would require a need to do anything in that dream to wake up. Maybe this dream of reality is not an ordinary dream? -

@Julian gabriel Thank You for touching on this subject... Sat Nam Bro @Razard86 I'm not claiming anything against non-duality or ultimate reality, and I'm really happy that you have reached a state of constant peace and blissfulness. Really I mean it. I'm not joking. The thing is that on this imaginary low level of consciousness, where consciousness has stuck in the belief of separation and division, everything appears relatively very different and real as it can be. Why is it so? I don't know... For fun, for the sake of exploration, learning, and testing? I honestly don't know. You tell me. The fact is, it is not so easy to wake up from this dream for good. Would you still be in that enlightened state without psychedelics if, in case of some war conflict, your country or place that you dream of being here now would be destroyed, and no supply of 5meodmt would be available? Could you remain in this state without psychedelics, with a shitty nightmare going out of your window? If so, my sincere respect... You're welcome -

@Breakingthewall Everyone will realize this in this life or some of the next... You won't change anybody's mindset. Although I can only imagine that for some here, in case of the sudden death of the body (not wish to anybody to be clear), the surprise of what was believed here will be very significant, including myself. -

@Razard86 I suppose you also enjoy this illusion. Otherwise, what are you doing here? I see plenty of so-called non-dualists here, for whom everything is an imaginary illusion, and yet they are stuck here as flies to the shit and treat their statements deadly seriously. Interesting, isn't it? -

Kuba Powiertowski replied to Julian gabriel's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Before taking a step towards non-duality, it is good to be rooted in duality. Where we are, on the lower vibrations, everything is dual as hell, and our conversation is proof of that. And the path from duality to non-duality requires the death of the Ego on the cross - metaphorically speaking. And that takes courage. And this one comes from the practice of looking into the abyss, communing with the abyss. It's not that simple. However, I wish this for everyone - courage. “I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.” Frank Herbert Dune -

@Jehovah increases Read carefully, my friend. That's not what I was saying. People make a real sacrifice fighting for a better tomorrow. And they suffer for it. They are persecuted and tortured, currently, at the moment. This is how it works in this dimension. Anything else you don't know?
