To give some background information, I'm 20 years old. I've been using the internet since I was like 6. I've seen some ugly stuff, and I guess I just got used to it. I think I'm really desentitized from stuff other people find very disturbing. It's not as if I enjoy the suffering of others, but I feel like I don't have the responses I should due to some of the content I've been exposed to. Think of anything fucked up, like seeing people being tortured or raped, and although I'll probably feel bad for the person and have a desire to stop their suffering, but I won't have a "repulsion" response, I can just keep looking at it no problem. I don't know if this is something that should be addressed or how to even go about it. I even have trouble putting it into words, not because it's emotionally difficult, but it's hard to be precise with it. I don't think I lack empathy, on the contrary, but I do feel as though my responses to the suffering of other people have been shaped in a negative way by the internet, and I guess I would like to be better in this regard.

Not sure if you included it and I didn't see it, but maybe what to do if you're feeling stuck in a certain level of the scale

@Nahm It's a cool article, I'll try the acknowledging and accepting of emotions it mentioned. I feel like I'm not really the intended audience though, don't really know what all the vibration stuff means. I also don't really agree with the emotional scale, I don't think people's current mood move in a linear path like that, imo it's a lot more messy, although I haven't really tried applying it. I don't consider myself a really "spitirual person", and so a lot of the article doesn't resonate with me. Perhaps this is a shortcoming. Maybe as I advance more in this form of thought, or whatever it is, stuff like your article will make more sense to me. Until then I'm not sure how to offer any valuable feedback though, sorry.

@Nahm Hey, I took a look at the videos you posted and the link. I liked the article, I tried the sentence-completion thing and got some stuff out of it that left me thinking. I got some useful stuff out of the videos too, although most of it seemed like fluff to me (no offense). Maybe I'm too empiric for an old lady talking about the inner source and the law of attraction to do anything for me, although I still found some points I consider worthwhile to consider and apply. Also I found it curious that the audience is all women, is there something about their gender that makes them attracted to that kind of stuff? Not to sound sexist or anything but it's hard not to notice. Anyways thanks for the info and sorry for taking too long to look at it, I was busy with some school work. Have a good day or afternoon or whatever.

Lol would'nt leo fail this exam, I mean from what I can see in his forum posts he seems to proclaim that his perspective is the correct one as opposed to others in some threads -

I don't think Leo agrees with christianism so I don't see why he would make a video stating that christ is absolute love

Whenever I watch leo's content, or consume any kind of spiritual/philosophical material, I always get the impression that the people making the material don't really know what they are talking about. Especially leo, I always get the impression he is full of shit in his videos. I don't only doubt other people, though, I also doubt myself. Even if I get the impression of finding some kind of deep truth within myself, the doubt of why I should trust my subjective experience always ends up kind of nullifying it. I get this with statements about the external world (science) but not as much, because at least I somewhat trust its evidence-based approach. I'm stuck in this limbo where every time I see someone else make any statement I get the feeling they are full of shit but also can't trust my own subjective assesments about my experience because I don't see why I should, and I don't know how to move forward.

You're my favorite cult leader, leo. Your replies are always interesting. -

Why do you trust your intuition, in the first place? Do you trust your intuition because your intuition tells you to? -

Who gets to define what intuition is? Do you think the way you use that word is in line with the way most people do? Words are just made up and change depending on popular use, after all. -

Is that dogma I smell? -

Yeah, I think you can probably argue against or in favor of pretty much any position you can think of, honestly. Assuming there exists an external reality outside perception (noumenon) then human perception is wrong in at least some ways in relation to that. We are not able to sense an object the same way a bat or a dolphin can. -

Yes, my intuition has lied to me many times (at least my current definition of intuition) and my thoughts have provided peace. I don't think my position is uncommon, in fact I've seen it a lot around philosophers and other intellectuals. -
@Nahm Thank you for your great answer. It'll take me some time to get through the stuff you posted to look into, and to try the meditation. I'm kind of busy right now. I'll get back to you once I'm done, if you're still interested.

@Nahm I love your posts, dude. At least they make me reconsider some of my positions. But why should I trust my intuition? What makes it more trust-worthy than reason? -
Why ask the leader how to stop being a follower?

Thanks for the recommendation. I've actually been doing that lately. Any author or source you recommend?

I'm not sure how to answer that question. I guess first I'd want to know "wrong" relative to what? I think I could say I'm wrong, relative to most of humanity's experience. But I'm not wrong in regards to my own experience. -

Yeah, I'll admit my analysis hasn't been completely in-depth either. Still, I feel curious if he, in his current state of growth, still considers some of his old videos worthwhile, or if he would still abide to his old material. -

I'll clarify a little, I think I didn't explain it well enough. I don't doubt my experience is that of a red car. I doubt that this experience is true outside myself. I don't see why my own subjective experience about something should take priority over other forms of knowing. -

Thank you for your insightful answers. I would like to give one myself but I feel as though I can't until I know the state you're talking about. Until then my replies are only guesses. That being said, I think the most "advanced" state of consciousness for me is not one that takes itself for certain. -

I feel like he contradicts himself sometimes, especially his newer videos. Maybe it's because of a shift in his state of consciousness but if you go through his old videos and watch them carefully, comparing them to his newer ones, I think you'll find some of the things he says now contradict things he has said before. I think he should address this.
