If god had the desire to, could he somehow stop existing? I've always found the idea of death comforting because an endless life has always seemed tragic to me, and I think if I found out I was god and that I can't die I would find that deeply horrifying.

Do you guys visualize stuff like energy going up and down the spine or chakras? I try to feel the third eye chakra, for example, but I can't really feel anything, like a blank spot or something. I'm not sure if this is something that will get better with practice, or if I'm misunderstanding something of the practice. -

@Inliytened1 Yeah, as I imagined I don't get it. At least now I know that if whatever you guys are talking about is true I have no idea what it is yet and thus my fears are unfounded. -

@Nahm It's not love itself that is terrifying to me, is the fact that it's seemingly forever-going. I think I'd eventually grow to hate anything that I had to endure for eternity. -
Anyone knows any website or resource to check the legality of research chemicals on different countries? I live in Mexico and I can't find anything on google about it.

I don't know, you can derive enjoyment from existing (or not existing, whatever you want to call it) and that has inherent value -
I'm really thankful for his contributions, without him I probably wouldn't have got into the whole meditation and spiritual practice thing. I hope from the bottom of my heart that whatever is after death, if there is anything, treats him well.

@martins name thats pretty cool, hopefully i can get something like that from it too I've been practicing talabya kriya and stretching my tongue to get khechari, but my gag reflex keeps getting in the way. Anyone have any tips to deal with it? -

On the topic of khechari mudra, aren't there any physical dangers to stretching the frenulum below your tongue like that? I imagine it's there for a reason, and it seems to me like stretching it like it's needed in khechari mudra might defeat its purpose. -

@Koeke I see. I guess I'll do it then. -

Do you guys do khechari mudra? The book I'm reading suggests doing it for the first kriya, but it feels somewhat iffy and yucky to me. -
I'll start practicing kriya yoga and see how it goes, I'll update here maybe idk. Find out on the next episode of shitty life Z

Anyone else have trouble with this? For the life of me, it seems that I can't mantain the habit of meditating every day. Maybe it's because I haven't had any remarkable experiences or anything like that, so I'm not sure it actually does anything. Any help would be appreciated. If one of you could convince me it's worth it that would be pretty cool too.

@SriSriJustinBieber That is a good tip and a good question. I'm honestly not sure, I think I mainly want to experience pleasant sensations, and meditation seems like a good way to go about it. -

@Consilience Hello, thanks for your comprehensive response. T.M.I is actually the meditation program that I've been trying to follow for a couple of years. I think the level of complexity in it might actually be detracting me from continuing the practice. How do I put it? The more moving parts a practice has, the less desirable it seems to me; I'm a fan of simple things. I'll take up your advice on establishing a daily minimum, thanks again for your advice. -
I decided to go spend a couple of years in a buddhist monastery after I finish college

What is there to achieve, really? Isn't everything already fine as it is currently?

You could be right, honestly I don't know lol. I'll still keep meditating and doing spiritual work though, just sharing my thoughts i guess. -

it seems to me that any work that we "need" to do only comes to appear necessary because of illusions and the stories we tell ourselves, it feels closer to reality to me that there's nothing really to be done when we drop all those stories -
feeling like shit but im somewhat ok with that, don't feel as shit as a result

I've heard of anecdotal experience and looked at a couple of studies that seem to suggest that a frequent meditation practice will shorten sleep proportional to the time you meditate more or less. I would like to know if this has been the experience for you guys who have a frequent meditation here. Some gurus suggest that this is because meditation is rest, so you have less of a need for rest in the form of sleep. Also would like to know about other ways meditation has affected your sleep; personally it helps me with insomnia if I meditate shortly before sleep as I have a more quiet mind.

this sounds like a pretty sad way to relate to people romantically or in general, i think i'd rather just be alone than follow your model of "relationship"

Seems like the girl is looking for a father figure in the form of a romantic relationship (if her calling him daddy wasn't just a joke, although you could argue it's still a case of this even if it was a joke, unconscious manifests in the form of jokes and all that). Does she have a bad relationship with her father?
