You can initiate conversations with women without ass kissing them. Just because a woman looks at you or smiles doesn't mean she wants you. And just because a woman is not giving you obvious signs of interest doesn't mean she doesn't want you.

I can feel it in people who've realized themselves. I don't feel it in people who claim they got enlightened by taking psychedelics. Well, I haven't seen such a person yet. But that's just my experience.

The way to do salvia, if you want to get some kind of benefit from it, is to chew the leaves. That's how shamans have done it traditionally. Smoking extracts is a way to have a crazy experience, but what's the point if you can't contemplate anything while you're in that state?

I never said that enlightenment is the equivalent of a still mind. But you need a still mind in order to realize yourself. Similar to how you need a clean mirror to see your reflection clearly. When you still your mind temporarily, you have a temporary glimpse, like you can have with psychedelics. The mind needs to be thoroughly purified in order to have a realization that doesn't come and go. I am willing to try things out and I've done my fair share of psychedelics.

Because that something is very subtle and you need a still mind in order to realize it. But if you still the mind using a substance, then when the effects of the substance wear off your mind will go back to its usual clouded state and what you've realized won't be as obvious any more.

Psychedelics can be useful for shadow work. There is no evidence whatsoever that they are a legit tool for enlightenment. None of the traditions that use psychedelics have any idea about enlightenment. I've met some of the most energetically messed up people in areas where there's a lot of psychedelic tourism (Iquitos and the Sacred Valley, Peru). Never encountered those kind of messed up vibes on meditation retreats or non-duality events.

Could it be said that accusing someone of gaslighting when they were simply criticizing your views or expressing a different opinion is a form of gaslighting? Referring to things like this:

You have to be willing to be with whatever psychedelics bring up and not distract yourself. Otherwise you won't get much benefit. If you're gonna do it, start with very small doses.

What you're saying here is also just a perspective which you think is the absolute truth.

I think trying to brute force your ego into submission doesn't work. Even if you temporarily manage to do it with psychedelics it'll come back, often times stronger than before the trip (trying to overcompensate for what happened).

No. A desire to impose your will on those who don't want your help is arrogance. But when someone asks for your help, and you want to help them, there's no arrogance in that. Idk why you're so keen that these are the same when they're clearly not. Holding concepts lightly doesn't mean mixing them up.

For example when a therapist makes you confront some pain you carry so you can release it. I'm not a fan of this term though. I think it's mostly used to excuse bad behaviour.

Condescension and tough love are very different things. And even the term "tough love" is often used to sugarcoat being a dick.

There's no person who is God realized. A person is an appearance.
