  1. Thanks for posting this, it really resonates.
  2. RSD is garbage, follow them if you wanna become a clown.
  3. "I have a lot of wants and desires that I want to do, but I can't because of religion but it's okay because I'll get to do them in paradise." That's very liberating, I guess...
  4. Finding a good psychic is the same as finding a good psychotherapist or a doctor. It's like finding a needle in a haystack... with many fake needles in there.
  5. Unless that being gets in his way.
  6. Armed citizens are an insurance policy against tyranny. Guns are also a power equalizer. They allow one to protect him/herself against someone who's bigger and stronger.
  7. I didn't ask you any questions... So, you're not struggling with anything... yet you call your current situation a slavery. You say you have no reason to answer, yet you're on this forum. You say there's no such thing as enlightenment, yet you're implying that you are. There's some denial going on here, it looks like.
  8. Also, you don't have to have a job. You can make money doing what you like doing.
  9. I'm not enlightened but this seems like just a belief. Looking at people who could be called enlightened, this is absolutely not the case. I'd argue that if you're struggling with this, you're not enlightened. There's a conflict between your inner reality and the world. And there are still beliefs running your life.
  10. This doesn't contradict having a job or running a business.
  11. I don't know where you get these ideas from, but they're just fantasies about what enlightenment is.
  12. Enlightenment doesn't equal being dysfunctional and not being able to make a living. Many teachers will tell you that they're functioning better than before.
  13. Nothing really changes for a regular citizen in such a short period of time unless you construct your whole sense of reality by watching TV.
  14. Do you believe that none of the hindus, sufis, christian mystics are awake?
  15. It's already been called a deadly pandemic. It's not a problem for the media and governments to call it whatever they want to call it. If they want to call it a global war time, they will.
  16. He never debates though. He's good at giving an impression that he answered a question without actually answering it.
  17. Resistance is rarely a conscious choice though, if ever.
  18. It's funny most media say he said "Takes one to know one" when he actually said "Whatever you say about others is what you are yourself". The meaning is vastly different and the first one implies him sort of admitting to being a killer.
  19. Yeah, and even if one country could do it, it wouldn't be effective unless either every other country does the same or the borders are completely closed and there is no physical communication with other countries at all.
  20. California (strict lockdowns, mask mandates) Florida (no lockdowns, no mask mandates) No fucking difference.
  21. ... Just realized my argument was garbage.
  22. No. Florida has half the population of California and half the cases (even a bit less).
  23. There is value in seeing distinctions on a relative level. For example, you probably use the spiral dynamics model. I could ask you, why do you feel the need to divide humans by stages of their development? It's for the same reason. Once you've identified something, you can work with it. If you want to deny that distinctions exist on a relative level, why not go all the way then and deny all distinctions? Why the need to separate the heart from the liver, it's just one body. Why the need to have a different relationships with a lover and a parent, we're all just people. You can go far with it if you use the same logic.
  24. Teachers who are very popular are usually not great, ironically. Sadhguru seems to be more into improving lives of many people rather than helping a few awaken. He's not really a teacher to go to if you wanna wake up.
