  1. You think your ego is the force behind beliefs? It's not. Beliefs are better described as energy patterns that latch onto you like tiny gremlins, than by the ego having anything to do with it. The ego is the made-up entity that thinks it's having problems within the boundaries set up by beliefs. Of course none of those descriptions is actually accurate at all, it's just the best I can do with English. The truth can't be Englished at all.
  2. If you know the types of things that are possible you would jump out of your skin.
  3. It's a complete misunderstanding of that quote. Many people through history have tried to reach ultimate understanding through psychedelics, you really think you're the first one? Nobody has done it yet because it's not the way. Siddhis are not the way, they are a distraction. If you understand this simple notion, then that quote completely shifts meaning. it's higher order logic than the false dichotomy of treating it as you would some kind of intellectual task. There's nothing intellectual about it whatsoever.
  4. If you think that's bullshit then you are not directly aware of what reality is.
  5. No offense Leo but I think Alan Watts has you beat in terms of wisdom. You're looking from it from the point of view that says psychedelics are beneficial. Beneficial to whom, who is it that's getting any benefit by using them?
  6. I feel resenment in your tone @Windappreciator Maybe you would prefer bullshit rather than truth?
  7. Yep, exactly. What you call aligning with your true self I call personal power.
  8. If you really believed that you could walk through walls, you could. Shocking, I know. Nevertheless true - your entire reality is constructed by your system of beliefs. There's no reason why you can't construct a completely different reality for yourself, other than the strong forces of cultural programming that you received in the course of your life. Faith can move mountains. This is not a metaphor.
  9. Exercise and meditation. As a fellow ex smoker, do your best to get past the first 3 months with 0 nicotine and then you'll naturally feel a strong aversion towards smoking.
  10. If you don't believe that it can harm you, then it can't.
  11. So how come most people can't experience it? See this is all semantics. It's pretty funny honestly that we expect words or concepts to enlighten us. You will probably agree that there is a force in the universe which determines how "in sync" with reality you are. What is that force? I choose to call it power. You can call it karma if you want. Or you can call it god consciousness, or you can call it oneness, or you can call it the force, straight from Star Wars. They're all point to the same exact phenomena and the label really doesn't matter. What matters is that some people are demonstrably more, and some people are less in harmony with the world. The more in sync you are, the more power you have, the more reality seems to bend to you, the more lucky you tend to be, the more happy for no reason. The less you have, the more you struggle, the more you suffer, the more things work against you and the more frustrated you are. And after all isn't that the whole point of it, to overcome suffering?
  12. And what allows you to experience oneness with that grapefruit?
  13. Pretty sure I shared my thoughts in the previous post. If you disagree, that's your choice. The truth is that we're all just producing concepts. But your personal power isn't a concept, it's the force that defines your entire life. If you have enough personal power, you can look at a dry grapefruit and its beauty will enlighten you. If you don't, the most magnificent wisdom can be shared with your and you won't get it.
  14. Well, my main spiritual influence directly contradicts you @Inliytened1. Everything is power. Let me quote:
  15. I'm curious what Leo's theory on the great pyramids is.
  16. The problem with psychedelics isn't that they aren't profound, it's that it's borrowed power. This is where shamanic principles come into play. According to shamanism, these are all inorganic entities. When you take LSD, you consume a specific molecule which corresponds to a specific intelligent agent. These agents aren't bound to the physical world, but this chemical connects the two like a bridge. And this agent allows you to borrow the power required to literally survive that state. If you were to enter those states in your normal mode of consciousness, you would simply die, it is too much to handle. This is why psychedelics can never enlighten you, for as long as you depend on them to enter heightened states of consciousness, you are not using your own power, and therefore you're only getting glimpses. And no matter how many glimpses you get, they flee as soon as they come. True masters can use their own power to enter these states. They don't talk about it because it's unwise. You have to realize that true masters see normal human beings the same way you see children. It is out of their infinite compassion that they do not share the highest secrets of the universe. While I love Leo's content and I believe he definitely hits the nail on the head on several advanced metaphysical topics, personally I feel that he is resentful towards masters because he sees them holding back on wisdom, and this infuriates his logical, problem solving mind. He sees someone like Eckhart Tolle talking about letting go and it naturally pisses him off since he can't get over how non-stimulating he is to the mind. But see that's the entire point. Stimulating your mind is the best recipe to remain trapped in the mind. Eckhart Tolle knows far more than he shows, and so do all other true masters. They don't speak about it because speaking about it makes it vanish. You either experience it directly, or it's a bunch of meaningless mouth noises. From silence comes true power. And true power is the force that enlightens you.
  17. Those who talk do not know. Those who know do not talk.
  18. Alcohol is a terrible drug, but it does have spiritual properties. It's literally called spirit, that's not a coincidence. Even so it's best avoided in my opinion.
  19. If you believe Eckhart Tolle would be impressed by DMT, think again. The ineffable truths these masters talk about can seem very tame and mild but they are anything but. They penetrate the depths of reality and go further than most imagine. The reason they don't talk about it is very fundamental. And I have a hunch Leo's going to figure this out soon as well. If you talk about mystical experiences all you do is make people create images in their minds, none of which are actually correct, and cannot be correct, so therefore talking about mystical experiences provides no benefit to anyone. Don't underestimate simplicity. The simplest possible practice and the most hardcore possible practice paradoxically meet because they are one and the same. There's nothing to achieve and yet we work towards achieving it. There's nothing to do yet we're doing it. This is the ultimate mindfuck.
  20. Maybe now you'll start to take shamanism seriously. A shaman is precisely someone who can enter mystical states of awareness without the use of any spiritual allies based on their own power.
  21. I've heard Eckhart Tolle say that is a good sign that you're making progress on your spiritual path. I wouldn't worry about it.
  22. If it's pure CBD it's not psychoactive so you can freely experiment with dosage. It's not like with THC when a too large dose will send you into outer space. That does seem pretty expensive though. You can always make your own but you obviously need to know what you're doing, and that's going to cost you a lot less (but it may contain THC as well because even CBD strains contain enough THC to get you very high). It's worth noticing that those prices are typically gouged by like 500% or so, since CBD has become so trendy. For example when I make THC tinctures, I can easily make a 10ml bottle of product for about 5-10 bucks. That same amount of CBD tincture bought online would cost me about 80 bucks. I don't really know how CBD is isolated though. Could just be made from industrial strains with miniscule amounts of THC, no idea.
  23. A sitter is supposed to be sober and somebody you fully trust and are comfortable around them. They're also supposed to know in general what psychedelics do and how to react in certain situations. I had a bad sitter before, I wouldn't recommend it because it is dangerous.
