Well that's how I understand when they are talking about awakening, there is no intellect, creation just appearing without reason, being and everything is beautiful. Other word for it would be magic , as clearly God himself doesn't know how the hell he does it! Maybe I am just misunderstanding them.

From experiences, neither of what I believe to be my highest achieved states were to show something like that , on contrary, only times where I had such experiences was way before peaks. But I am open to change my opinion as it does not matter anyway. From what I think, Being is close to awakening to your true Self, as in a way you see, but you still do not know who you are, so you misidentify again ,so it is missing something(or rather still holding to something)

Does not seem to be random even in Eckhart Tolle case, he did deep self inquiry, with intense will to give up on him self and he was done. Only bizarre Enlightenments experience I have heard is one told by Sadhgur, both in how it happened and how it was gradual change.

I have serious problem with you guys thinking that real Self is just Being that has no intellect, in my experience he is neither Being, nor doing anything without reason. And if you would truly awaken to Yourself, you would not be shocked, your wold would not crumble, because you would be Yourself.

So you basically agree with me, Yourself is acting on his own delusion! Or did I get something wrong?

It answers why it looks like it and in a way it is like it, but it begs the question why is Self indulging in creating negative experiences in first place, he could create only positive experiences, there is no need for duality in world if he is so all powerful and is not bound by some laws of nature what is supposedly his own creation. So either he as being perfect can't see imperfection of suffering and is just making everything based on calculations and love is blinding him as he can't see suffering in process, or he is just masochist. It might be great for story, it will be gone after story ends, but did story never happen?

I this in a way can answer to it.

As someone who has tried all sort of stuff and got quite far in them I am well aware of risks and delusion that people get stuck into, unfortunately it is pointless to try and convince most of them that they are just kidding them and are stuck in their own creation. Considering how much they vary and how believable and in a way more comforting then they can be, it makes no surprise.

From my understanding ego is not even that much about thoughts, it is more like qualities that infest emotions and thoughts, your whole perception structure. Anyhow that is just my opinion, so don't take it to serious, also I believe that it is mind that has to recognize that ego is sham and it is done trough thinking, but that is where it becomes complicated, as you can't trick yourself into it, it does not matter if you already know what ego is, you need more then just knowing, it must be like sudden unexpected realization and not in form of separation, but recognition from ego.

Sounds like stories about one India guy who went to West and supposedly could tell what is inside books with just touching, or looking at them, but I think it came from Sadhguru stories, did not have any mention of it in documentaries about him.

Who knows, not big fan of his and I don't take everything that some guru says as truth, they are not omnipotent.

Question is what you mean by 2 and 2 and what is 5 it is just basics, do we use time in this , does 2 and 2 have to be same thing, what do we measure. For basic convenience it works, used differently you will have different results, if you will follow strict rules that are set in stone, because they are meant to be for such purpose you will not and can't have different result.

I was thinking today about shift I experienced, like seriously it is amazing, you will never have a clue till you get to be like that yourself, it is not like states you acquire trough awareness practices , or some self inquiry where you get detached from your ego, but ego still functions. Ego is literally gone, as if costume that you had all this time gets removed and you seriously have no clue how much you really had under it until it is gone, what is left is not some non thinking being, or some ecstasy that makes you jump out of joy of all the wonderful emotions that you have, emotions are good alright, but you are not controlled, reactive to them. So I was thinking, if this has something to do with brain, does it mean that some part of the brain is responsible for all of this information and if this shift happens because it is possible to shut it down, there might be possibility that in future it will be easy to do it with some device. Another idea I had is that maybe it does not get shut down, but maybe it is shift of thinking processor, reason being that it resembles process of when you are disoriented and you find that one landmark that spins your view point to your inner compass.

Haha , might be bit confusing in certain areas, have no idea really, have to ask them about struggles hey have and what works best in their case.

Didn't mean it about enlightenment , but that you can have same and have same reactions even if you don't hear internal monologue, you can't have clarity of mind if your awareness gets effected by such behaviours, you can achieve great resistance with high awareness focused on purpose to stay still, but it is completely thing from what I wrote above if there is confusion in this matter. Also thing to note for me it was not build up, it was like instantaneous, click, shift, either way maybe it is something else , but never the less it was something that intrigued me for a while as I had no clue how to get there because it was not achieved by regular means.

I don't think that you need inner monologue to have same ego behaviours, in truth you don't hear most of things you think when you are have such behaviours. Well I am not Enlightened, but from what I have experienced and from what so called Enlightened beings say is that you do not lose mind capabilities, you lose self image , which in return removes all egoistic behaviours that lead to judgement, fear, self doubt and so on, I have had glimpses of it only few times and it does not fell like usual altered state of consciousness, in a funny way , nothing really changes besides that being gone and everything being more clear.

There for sure are many shades of no self , which is not no self in most cases, as it is just shift of awareness. Today I had some interesting thought process which I did not finish as I was working and it is not easy for me to focus on complex matters and do work at the same time , anyhow I almost realized(kinda did) why it is not possible to control ego mind and which lead me to conclusion that Buddha way is one of the best ways to deconstruct ego, as it focuses at main reasons why we suffer and do stupid stuff, it might not be enough for most as you probably have to realize that ego mind is not you, problem is that what might be right missing peace for one, might not be for other.

Is your problem with how animals get treated or value? If it is value ,what is your value, how much your existence gives to ecosystem and how much it takes? Think about this well.

Attention and little bit of validation, mainly because this forum has lots of views and I am just trying to give some input to collective consciousness, idea by idea progress happens. .

From my standpoint it seems simple, there is this identity of you, that thinks that it is true identity , but it doesn't know what it is, because it it is nothing more then idea(belief) that spews this, maybe this comes of as a rough form to address it and maybe there are better ways.

For now all I think of a mind is as immense potential, that is about it, no matter how you will shape it , it will shape you just as much, no self, self, thoughts , behaviours, worldviews ,states, for me it is all by-product of how you mold it and how it runs your reality in return. I really do not know how to look at idea of transcending mind, because no matter what anyone says, it is mind you use to get anywhere to begin with, I don't deny higher intelligence, but I find problem with all these states and so on , when I know well that no matter which place you are coming from it wants to make it believe that your story is true.

It is kinda already know how it works, body and brain are connected, which forms what we would call mind, our immunity capabilities in part are based on our state of mind which either decrease ,or increase our immunity and body functions. What placebo does is change this state, makes you less stressed, worried, focused on your illness, which boosts your immunity , body functions. Problem of placebo is that it just leap of fait, it gives us insight into what our mind is capable of, but rest is really up to person, will he believe that it is cure, how he will act on it. Although it is important to capture all elements that are involved for different purposes, you can't just so easily make such changes into your reality, that is why tricking, superstition, belief is so powerful, trying to trick yourself when you know it is a trick is not easy. Also you probably mean placebo having effect on behaviour with drug effects and so on, it is bit different, but if you understand above, you should understand why such changes can happen too.
