It is about learning how to do philosophy instead of knowing what this or that individual philosopher thinks.
-
Hegel would, probably, say that this very universe contains in it infinite other universes as possibilities without which this universe would not be this universe anyways.

Of course there have been many great ideas created by those philosophers, I'm not trying to say that everything they say is bullshit. I appreciate their contributions to our thinking, and in helping us how to think in a good and effective way. I respect and appreciate them, and Kuhn's studies in epistemology, and more specifically in philosophy of science, have been very helpful to me also, in helping me understand that science, like all other human endeavors, also is a human endeavor. And it also helped me understand the importance of our minds, and how our minds, in a sense, shape reality with their interpretations of reality. So, in many ways, I'm really very thankful to those guys, and gals.

In the sense that we are all children of a historical momentum, a paradigm?
-
Makes sense, I also would say that everything is vibration, or vibrational, and it comes from a deep state of being, clearly, that I cannot explain in language, in a sense, I guess.

I mostly don't find anything useful in western philosophy. I've studied it to some extent, although I'm not an expert at all, but I'm feeling like, meh. I mean, to be honest, I've not heard anything original from any of them, and maybe the reason for that is their ideas have already imbued themselves in the world, so that, whether we're aware of it or not, we've been influenced by their thoughts, I don't know. And, however, I'm feeling like there is, almost, nothing in it that truly touches me, except some schools like Neoplatonism, German Idealism, Transcendentalism, etc, to some extent. And these are the schools that were inspired by Eastern Philosophy, to a great extent. I mean, there is always a tone in the Western Philosophy that, in my opinion, makes simple ideas complicated. Maybe it is because their minds also have been confused, or maybe it is because they wanted to look sexy etc, I don't know, but I feel like it is very dry and does not tell me anything about the nature of reality at all. And, yeah, you can receive some value from them, of course, but my opinion about it is pretty much the same with what Leo thinks. Truly, when Leo made his video about philosophy, even before watching it, I said "okay, this shit is for me, he's created this video for me", and I mostly agreed with everything he said, and of course, I have some differences in my thoughts also. I think about reality much more in a "woowoo" way, like through the concepts of vibration, emotion, idealism, consciousness, etc, and it makes much much more sense to me. When I think about the works of Western Philosophers through that lens also, then I say "aha, it now makes sense why you're saying that", it is like I'm feeling what they're actually talking about and why they're actually talking about it. I mean, I, in a sense, have a more mystical perspective on life, but I don't think mysticism and philosophy are actually two different things also. I'm thinking of mystical and philosophical teachings as two sides of the same coin, just different degrees of giving importance to different concepts, but yeah, of course, we can say that mysticism is more emotion and state of being etc based, and yeah, in that sense, I believe that intuition and emotion are much deeper and fundamental than reason, if what I'm saying is understood correctly. I mean, the concepts of intuition and reason etc are also viewed differently by different people, so I don't even wanna talk about that, but I believe that our natural state of being is peace and silence, in a sense, that only when we are caring about being in those states first, then our mind and thinking is clear, and so that's why I'm seeing reason and intuition, in that sense, as the two sides of the same coin.
-
So you're seeing reality wiggling and vibrating like that? Yeah, I don't think that, specifically, was what I was talking about.
-
I'm defining it more like the more I relax the better reality seems to become, and yeah, I can call it reality vibrating in a different way when I'm "vibrating" in a different way.
-
Academic philosophy seems to be, almost, nothing but concept fetishism. It is like they don't know what they are talking about anymore, but talking about talking about talking about talking.
-
Yes I'm okay with God or Nothing or whatever you call it also, but what does it mean for it to be vibrating, what does it mean to vibrate?
-
What the heck even vibration means to begin with? What do you even mean when you say "nothing" is vibrating?
-
Yeah, I think I understand what you mean by vibration, I've also experienced things like that like trillions of times, and yeah, I understand what you mean, but there are some problems about that perspective also.
-
I also have been thinking of universe as vibrational, as my username suggests, but, to be honest, I don't even know what "vibration" is.

Yeah, and logic and reason and empirical data, they all actually are one, same "thing", but we differentiate them for practical purposes. -

Alien consciousness etc feels pretty normal to me, human imagination is virtually infinite. And I'm not saying it in a negative way, I don't see a problem in channeling, or being, or whatever, an alien consciousness. I would just say care about feeling good, work on your vibration, and then whatever the shit, aliens or whatever crap. -

Soon I'm gonna awaken to Lucky Luke infinity, becoming a character in the world of Lucky Luke, or maybe the Pokemon infinity realizing that I've been Pikachu all along. -

Yeah, and think about it, if reality is consciousness, a dream of some sort, then the changes in your consciousness are changing the reality, for your consciousness is reality. And the better you feel the better your reality will be, for how you are feeling is some sort of an indication of what's actually going on on your consciousness, therefore if you simply go for feeling good, then you're taking the shortcut to creating the reality that you want. And this is not just a theory. Apply it and watch what happens, it works, and if you agree with the premises that we talked about, then the conclusion is necessarily true, really. But you don't need to believe in this, or accept this theoretically, really frickin apply this, see how you're feeling as some sort of a navigational system. -

I'm listening to Bashar's teachings, and Bashar supposedly is an alien living in a parallel universe in 2300s, and I take him pretty seriously haha. I think consciousness is frickin crazy and there literally is no limits to its awesomeness, for it is the idea of awesomeness.
