The Buddha replied to Mythos's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
To complete the other comments, I would say it is the path of mistery. Sciencie gets crazy and thinks all reality is a problem to be solved. The mystic understands that it is all a great mistery: as so, he acts and lives. -

Well you love to dislike those things, don't you? Also u love to hate and to have fear because u "think" it's the best u could do, don't u? What is the point of loving what serves your ego's agenda? To love the easy stuff, the pleasures and the great and amazing things of life? Of course that is easy! The real point of love, is to love the hard stuf! The same way if u go to plane simulator you won't have perfect weather conditions and automatic flight assistance just by pressing a butto, what sense that has? U will have an engine crash or hard weather, extreme wind, are all of those together... Because that is the point of loving, to love the easy and the hard, so that u train yourself to love as much as possible in this life. It is better to use shoes than to carpet the world. This life is about loving, the more u are able to love the happier u will be. @EternalForest -

@Leo Gura For sure there is a point to salvia but not gonna be me who finds out. It's not for the general public, that is what I was saying. Don't think much humans are even able to handle a middle salvia dose, imagine a strong or wild one. Other psychedelics are insane but salvia is one of those that is itself it's category and cannot be compared to anything. Salvia is literally the door to: I don't know shit and wtf is even reality. I've never tried it but always been so amazed about this substance because honestly, wtf is on with salvia??? Does anyone even truly know what goes on in a high dose salvia trip? Not to mention the wild ones, that is when things get even more interesting... -

What happens with all this positions is that: the one who created them made it out of it's silence. You trying to make it or force just creates more noise. Do whatever position you enjoy and that makes silence of mind. You can meditate at any time everywhere, master the mind and then from that silence the best position for you will emerge naturally. -

How could u force a flower to blossom? You can prepare the earth, water it every day, make sure it gets enough sun; then have faith, trust and love that it will flourish. -

Totally true, people keep examining the finger instead of what it points to. If Zen people is like this, just imagine how other religious people are. All religions are traps of the ego, that likes a certain type of view over another. Totally true, this trip people out. There have been a few buddhas before and after Gautama. The buddha just means the one who has awaken, so I woudn't mind saying Ramana Maharshi is buddha, as many others. -

@Christdas Well, remember aslo that The Buddha is not buddhist. Buddhism is the study of The Buddhas, the ones that awake. But when one discovers The Self, The Truth, The Love, The Conciousness; he awakes and cannot be described by the asleep. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All religions, philosophies, sciencie... are pointers to the transcendence; so by that have to be understood. From all those, Zen is the most pure, being the child from buddhism and taoism; it's the essence of all religions. However, it's just a better pointing: that's all. Be welcome to this forum, we are all products of your mind and we really do not exist, we are just you trying to wake u up, this forum is as deep as wide, if u stay here be willingly to lose all you think u knew, be willingly to go to the abysm and jump. U won't enjoy this path, it's being fucked by everything; all reality mealting into your hands, not even finding understanding in your mother eyes nor in your friends, so even it is harsh it is the most pure and noble path. All others just bring more suffering, more unconciousness and living like that is not a life. If everything goes well you will die multiple times and realize more deeper and pure aspects of reality. But always, remember that everything boils downs to being happy and loving yourself and all reality. All you are searching is here and now, how could u hide something to yourself? It's in front of your eyes, but you can't see it, so that is the work, to remove all that doesn't allow u to see what is already here. Beyond and trascending, that is this: -

There is no point about salvia except absolute delusion and non-sense, it's just an insane mind-fuck, that's it -

Philosophy is the mind. Buddhism is not the mind, it's not anything in fact. Especially if you talk about zen, it's even more undescribable. There is no point in you putting it, into a box, because then u are losing all it is and can be. -
Will there be a time where all earth is fully awake? I know we are going full masturbation here but let's try to figure out a society where everyone is simple awake. How society, economy, drugs, buildings, education, art will be? Would there be any steps left or we would all be in ectsasy and joy for all of our human existance? If there is a point when all this happens my question is what next? (probably concept of next wouldn't exist, but I think you understand my pointer) Very curious to find out your answers in this one

Because when you wake up others beings you are waking yourself. That is the work of bodhisatvas, the one that discovers The Self but doesn't end the eternal cycle of being born and death till all beings are awake. So the bodhisattva even though he knows the illusion of self and others, has great compasion towards all beings, even though he knows that they do not exist. He is waking himself up (as he is everything), and decided to play this role of waking others up because from all roles in a child game this is the most pure. The same reason as Leo also helps us even though he knows we do not exist -

Yes, I had also one similar, where I realized that literally everyone is doing it's best at all time. Also all people consider that they are doing the good and right thing, that really blew my mind. That one is amazing, but everytime it hits me it's so fucking hard that later on It's hard to integrate it. The insight is always to intense to boil it down to my everyday, but definetely one of a kind experience. Nice, tbh my favourite insight was also love. Even after all profound metaphisical realization, the insight of there is just love; it's ecstasy and joy of beingness. Nothing ever compares to that universal Love of embracement and unity hug, so beautiful. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Thank you so much for taking time to reply @Kyle Gjerseth @Vibroverse @Tim R -

@Danioover9000 The more energy you put in a future the more probable it is to manifest. Understand that this doesn't work with the lottery or other things, because there is a lot of people also putting energy in the future they want. -

Well there are relative truths, absolute truths. And then the Absolute Truth that trascends both. Study non-duality if you are interested. -

I get your point, but true enlightenment is beyond being enlightened or not, so there is also no pint. Well we could make a try, just by discarding it we don't go anywhere also. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just feel that all your answers are very poor, I thought this would really bring up great discussion and new topics about global conciousness and transcending our nature. As the step from monkeys to human beings, so the next step in our developement: the great awekening. Hoping anyone brings great insights because I'm very fascinated about this concept. -

I read this in The book of nothing, that are the teachings of Sosan (totally awake being) explained to the general public by Osho. It is said that for whom The Self it is realized It is normal to say the world is illusory as it is felt like that. However, if so that knowledge is kept as dogma for one that is asleep it is of no value. As it is shown in it's way of living by throwing a stone to it's head. The same way believing the world is an ilusion without having awoke is trying to convince yourself with the feeling of being full without ever eating. So it is true that after eating you feel full, but by conveincing yourself that you are full that doesn't mean you have eaten. So for the awake and who has discovered the atman or The Self his statement is the world is an ilusion, so it is felt by him, so it is spoken. To whom is asleep he carries this as a believing not as a feeling, as the believing of being full without eating. So the best way for awakening (Sosan) is everything has to be regareded as true, real and the same substance, nothing can be left out so in the complition of all your being you can eat, you can realize The Self, then it will naturally come to you, i'm full, the world is an ilusion; not the other way arround. -

The idea of owning a body or a mind is ego but the ego is not the body. Ego is desire and all sentence that are: " I am ..." That attachment is ego, the desire not to desire or even the desire of God or Truth or Love, that is the ego.
