  1. Leo's bulleted list is a good starting point. He didn't just add to the corruption, he started a whole movement. It will be a long time before we have a functioning democracy again, and that's if we can even salvage the damage that he has done.

  5. The right doesn't give a shit about democracy, although they may claim that they do when it fits their agenda. There are some serious problems with a two party system and I think we are seeing the effects of that right now. We need a massive overhaul, I'm just not sure where to go from here. We have truly made a mess of things.

  14. @Joshe IMO, Trump had it coming. I think we need people like Destiny right now. I'm not sure he'll change any conservative minds but I do think some on the left will come to their senses and realize the gravity of the situation we are currently in. That said, I do think an assassination attempt on Trump is going to set us back politically. If we thought the country was polarized up until now things have just been taken to a new level.

  19. There's some sickness in all of us. Being conscious doesn't mean you're never delusional. Being conscious just means that you recognize your delusion and behave responsibly in spite of.

  24. The problem is that people believe their own bullshit. And then, these same people believe that their bullshit is superior to other people's bullshit. That's what's at the root of all this. All actions stem from this.
