I used to be a lot in Adwaita Vedanta , God consciousness , moksha , nirvana . and did not see value in normal Hindu rituals such as worshipping god with proper rules and what benefit it entails for the devotee Recently after seeing that even if i get enlightened right now it wont change my life at all . So under guidance of a experienced hindu guru , i started worship of specific deity and life has changed a lot since then for good and also learnt lessons hard way . A lot of people , underestimate the power and potential of having connection with a deity by doing proper sadhna , and getting close to the deity to get its blessing There are few hindus that consider everything useless except adwaita , and I heavily disagree with that . Everything has its place , and if you learn faster , get material / health benefits with the help of deity sadhna then there is nothing wrong with it .

@samijiben I dont want enlightenment without having my material life sorted out . For sorting out material life , health physical and mental , well being of my loved ones Hinduism gives ways for it Thru tantra sadhna of deities , in the rigth manner. Even tho a person might start sadhna for material benefits , you should not keep it material , you should develop love for the deity as well

Namaste i did a Vipassana 10 day course that completely changed me forever. I was under the water in terms of consciousness. My consciousness was even below that of average person. But vipassana helped me bring it to surface. I faced a lot of my unconscious tendencies. Codependency, seeking validation, sexual nature etc. As i have been conscious for months now, i have noticed something that i call Energy of Death. What this basically means is, regarding few my job or other few things. There is this dense fear inside me that immobilises me. It handicaps me and closes me up. Makes simple things difficult for me to do by creating obstacles. I feel sensations of it in calfs of both of my legs. I feel small involuntary movements in legs. In this situation, i try to be conscious and observe it. When i do, and when it's gone i feel very tired, as if you have come from a war. As it takes energy from your body. What should I do?

It was actually work of many lifetimes , and because of the work and preparation he did earlier he started where he left off .

So I was listening to Tao te ching and I realised that the thought of stress and fear were coming without my consent and This made me realise that I am not in control of my thoughts and I am not in control of what happens outside as well. I'm not the doer. I can only observe. But after few hours my ego is taking over and it wants to "do" things and become the doer. What's the solution for this?
