  1. I don't have an issue with the left as I do so with how it's been manifesting itself. Take the left from Kennedy's era. I wouldn't be saying the same about them. I used to be very right wing and when someone from the left would mention the worst about the right, it would bother me too but only because I was so identified with the right. I totally understand people identifying with the party they prefer.
  2. I can't change other people laughing when those protestors brought it upon themselves, I wasn't the one who was there and protested. Have you considered that you may be invalidating the problems those protestors were causing to the slaughterhouse? If one of them got injured, it would be a major liability for the slaughterhouse. That's a dirty way to protest. You aren't helping the cause much either by condoning that kind of behavior. You're an employee going to work one day at a slaughterhouse and some entitled protestor almost dies protesting at your slaughterhouse. Put yourself in their shoes as well
  3. Lol I'm glad you brought slaughterhouses up. That reminds me of this video on YouTube of some people protesting a slaughter house by bringing U-locks and putting them around their necks while attaching them to the assembly rack. They all chained themselves towards the end as well. When the employees started the machine, the protestors were demonizing the employees. If you protest peacefully, sure you may get ignored. But if you protest like a jackass, you may get ignored even more and get thrown in jail. Or if you do raise more awareness, it won't be the kind you want: where people are rolling on the floor laughing at your cause. 4:50
  4. Yes I think something similar is necessary. Everything in life comes with a consequence. What matters is if you can accept it fully. I guess I'll know how to help fix America's racial inequalities one day when I become president.
  5. Trust me, there's nothing that you've been saying which I've never heard. Now you might say to that, "Yeah well there's a difference between saying you heard everything I've said and actually understanding it." And get ready for this one ok? Drumroll....I've heard that too.
  6. Any confusion there may be among us, love is always the answer in the end. Fuck it That's all the guidelines point to in the end. When I read them where they were mentioning things like "Watch your devilry, etc." I was like oh boy...I can tell Leo is trying his best here to show the bigger picture.
  7. No, I shared those memes because of the humor. Osho has always said how laughter is the highest wisdom. There's a meme out there for anything. I've always been more on the meme side of issues than the ones that love going deep. I don't know, just how the divine expresses itself through me
  8. I'm not dismissing anything else you're saying but I do feel like you're doing too much judging of me to put me in some kind of box. I am simply shedding light on nuances. I can say that the reason some people think I'm trying to frame Antifa and BLM a certain way is because they themselves, aren't comfortable with the nuances I'm sharing. Afterall, the guidelines here do say you've got to be flexible enough to handle nuances and paradoxes. At the end of the day I don't know any ultimate truth about anything, I'm sharing unpopular points and nuances.
  9. If only BLM did it the way Martin Luther King wanted it, they'd be much further off today.
  10. Of course. Although "what aboutism" can be used as a distraction, it can also be used to see the bigger picture. I'm coming from a place where I get a lot of flack for when I mention these nuances to people outside this forum. The vast majority of people and groups think they are saints in their head. It's their reaction to the nuances that I mention that gets me. Most people can't handle nuances or paradoxes. It flips life as they know it on its head.
  11. That's why I feel like BLM lives too much in the past. A lot of shit has happened to black people, and they aren't the only ones. Jews have been persecuted into the millions. However, we have come a long way. We have had a 2 term black president, we have rich black people. All those black people that got rich didn't get rich dwelling on the past of their race 200 years ago. They saw an opportunity and seized it. Hell, I voted for Obama even though I voted Trump in 2016. I vote for who I think is best in that -moment-.
  12. Spiral Dynamics has been a new theory to me after stumbling upon Leo's work. What I've realized is that it's only a theory at best to classify levels of consciousness. But consciousness itself isn't exactly small or big since it's infinite. I can see Spiral Dynamics turned into another tool of the ego by saying "I'm stage Yellow and you're blue, therefore I'm superior." If we are to be truly conscious, we'd have to leave Spiral Dynamics aside as it would become an obstacle. Not saying it can't be talked about or analyzed, there's just a bigger picture.
  13. But what about the looting and vandalizing in the name of BLM? Here's a BLM leader saying that looting is reparations. Isn't fighting evil with evil only adding to more evil? Here's an article on a white girl who got killed by BLM because she said "All lives matter". https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thesun.co.uk/news/12110240/jessica-doty-whitaker-all-lives-matter-indiana/amp/ Police brutality is definitely a real thing. However, there have also been many instances where people were resisting arrest and didn't follow police instructions. Are victims always victims? That is the question. Police have to make split second, life changing decisions on the spot. Something that a lot of people wouldn't have the aptitude for. The left has been advocating to send out a psychologist in field to persuade a potential criminal. How well would a psychologist really work in an environment like that under so much pressure while the other person is holding some sort of weapon? It all sounds great on paper and I too, would love the idea of telling someone holding a knife, "Hey, we can talk about this. Think about what you're doing." But would the people advocating this do this themselves? There was a man named Tony Timpa. A white man who died to police brutality as they were laughing which never unleashed a nationwide scandal.
  14. If you do the research you'll find that any celebrity or business person who showed support for Trump has had leftists attempt to cancel them. Why else is the left associated with cancel culture? The Goya foods scandal was all over the news. Unity through cancelation, try wrapping your head around that. I can ask you the same question back, what conspiracy theories do you believe in? What hate group are you with, Antifa? BLM? If you don't think BLM is a hate group, think again. They don't like all lives matter, they have to put a racial preference behind their cause. Some of their leaders mentioned how looting is reparations, how the system needs to be burned down. The left has its fair share of hate groups at the end of the day. Look here how BLM was encouraging white people to kiss their boots in public: The Goya foods scandal: https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/2020/12/08/business/goya-aoc-employee-of-the-month/index.html Your ego is getting in the way implying that anyone on the right wing is part of a hate group when I was simply pointing out a nuance. This is why the country is the way it is due to low consciousness behavior like that from both sides.
  15. Lol in this day and age, if you support Trump you get cancelled and harassed but not if you support Biden. So much for the left's tolerance and call for unity. Hypocrisy at it's finest. I remember that Goya foods CEO saying Trump has been a great president and man, did he receive massive backlash for it. I remember Leo saying that no devil is going to admit he's the devil which is why the a great part of the left believes in canceling, looting, burning, and violence to support their cause.
  16. I'll have to respectfully agree to disagree on that one. I'd say the -current- left is 10-50x worse with the external damage they've caused through violence and rioting. So far the right has been handling Biden winning better than the left handled Trump winning 2016. Most of them know they would be hypocrites to act the same way as the left did and a small portion is acting the same way just to "get even". If the left was so much better than the right, we wouldn't have so many New York and California refugees moving to Florida and Texas. One good look at the most liberal cities says enough about their level of consciousness at work. I haven't lived in a largely liberal state but my wife lived most of her life in Washington state and she's happier than ever to have gone to a red state. Just how the left is saying there's no evidence of voter fraud, there was no evidence during the impeachment trial. They talked about impeaching him before he even got elected which shows where their priorities were compared to looking out for Americans. The president of Ukraine said so himself that he wasn't getting pressured and the transcript from the WH of the phone call Trump had with Zelinsky word for word had no quid pro quo. The left was just going off of hearsay and speculation, their whistle blower didn't even show up. The previous impeachments in history were legitimate but Trump's impeachment made a joke out of the impeachment process overall which is considered a threat to democracy/treason. It was the most rushed impeachment backed by a political agenda and when it died at the Senate, they made more excuses. Only republican that defected was Romney whereas the left had several democrats defect. Not very bipartisan at all. I sat through both days of 12 hours of impeachment hearings listening to both sides.
  17. Consciousness or awareness is not affected by its contents. Consciousness doesn't increase or decrease as it is infinite. What decreases or increases is your identification with thought. Sure, bodily and mental ailments can make it more challenging to be conscious but it can also make it easier by forcing you to surrender. It's nature is to be free. Consciousness is the one element of your experience that remains unchanging.
  18. What cracks me up the most is how the left complains about Trump's actions when they've spent most of their time in government demonizing him than helping the U.S. as well. Plenty of evil has come from the left too with the impeachment hearings where no evidence was found with the transcript released from the WH and now the left is acting the same way with the election and the case against fraud saying there's no evidence. Can't talk about one side's evil without considering the other's. Pelosi's home just got vandalized with spray paint, blood, and a pig's head. Same with McConnell's. They're all puppets
  19. There are aspects of both where there's no difference such as the demonizing and pot calling the kettle black going back and forth. They are very different from each other but also very alike. I guess it's more of a paradox than anything. At the end of the day, everything is just a concept. Love is not knowing. Now I see that reaching a deeper understanding means to just reach a deeper not knowing. I looked at the differences of both and I understand how much I just don't know anymore lol. Awareness by nature is choiceless. Even if it chooses, it chooses from choicelessness. I guess that's what Leo means by higher consciousness as opposed to getting too wrapped up in left vs right.
  20. At the end of the day I don't see much difference between the right and the left. I've been saying this to my right wing friends and they hate it just as much as leftists do. But both demonize each other and fudge the truth only when it behooves them. They can't exist without each other no more than night can exist without day and that's what they both fail to see. I have both right and left wing friends. My left leaning friend for Biden said he wants something new and tired of Trump. I told him, "You do know Biden has been at this for 47 years and was VP for 8, don't act like 8 years of being VP has no power just because he wasn't president. Whatever Biden has accomplished in 47 years is questionable but don't think Biden is necessarily something new either." My right wing friends think I'm left and my left wing friends think I'm right.
  21. I totally agree. My main point here is that I can't say that survival is 100% selfish and there are paradoxes to it. Because let's say you're in a situation where you're trying to save your ass in order to save someone else. A mountain lion is charging at you while your kids are nearby. You have to survive to kill this mountain lion to save your kids. And yes, mountain lions can be killed with barehands as there was a man who made it on the news doing so. You're being selfish and selfless at the same time. So as far as survival being selfish goes all I can say is, it depends.
  22. The funny thing is the minorities who are right wing for example: black people cracking racist, self deprecating jokes. The hodgetwins are black and extremely right and crazy hilarious. I heard them talking about how Trump has done more for historic black colleges than any other president and sarcastically saying how "It took a white supremacist to do that." Why is it that some minorities feel oppressed and some don't? Lebron definitely feels oppressed when he'd for example go on about "Us black people die to racist police everyday. The amount of systemic racism in this country is overwhelming" even though he makes millions more than the hodgetwins. He condemns white priviledge and the hodgetwins condemn him for black priviledge. Yet the hodgetwins don't feel oppressed, they instead say, "Don't be stupid, and you won't get shot." Do both make valid points, yes. Are the hodgetwins sell outs? We'll never know
  23. I'm playing devil's advocate. I don't completely refute animals not having an ego as toxic households affect the pets in such a way where they show jealousy, etc. If animals have an ego, then animals can awaken and become more conscious as well? There's still a distinction though. Let's say animals have an ego, it's nowhere near to the extent of that of a human's because if it was, you'd see suicidal animals such as a chimpanzee tired of life jumping out of a tree why its fellow chimps want to hold it back from doing so. Now I'll really throw a wrench. The guidelines say you must be comfortable with paradoxes. Here's one. You're in a situation where you're trying to save your ass in order to save someone else. A mountain lion is charging at you while youe kids are nearby. You have to survive to kill this mountain lion to save your kids. And yes, mountain lions can be killed with barehands as there was a man who made it on the news doing so. You're being selfish and selfless at the same time.
