Who is thinking he is good or bad? Better or worse than others? ☺ Self esteem are just thoughts about yourself and since no thought is true, self esteem is just another illusion. Also, since you are an illusion, self esteem must be an illusion too, right?

Yes, it is true in one perspective that "we" already are that. It is also true that "we" can never become that, the same way an illusion never can become real.

You have to choose which one to do. One is ego building and the other is ego dissolving. Self pity is more thought than feeling. These self pitying thoughts will create emotions in the body, but seeing through those thoughts are the key to rid yourself of self pity. @laurastarla

@A way to Actualize the way I interpret it is that there simply been a deepening of realization. A seeing through the individual entity illusion and when conciousness can move through the body without an ego, much will change. He is simply talking about the change of course his life take when this continues to deepen.

Search on youtube for "dark night of the soul" and it will become clearer what Ayla meant.

Let's compare enlightenment with juggling. When you try to juggle the first times you'll never really juggle, you will try and throw the balls into the air but there is actually no success in catching and throwing the balls. They will just hit the ground over and over. You continue to practice and then suddenly it all falls into place and you can now juggle. Does this mean you are a master juggler? No, even though you know how to juggle there is now the process of mastering it. And can you ever learn everything about juggling? No, the path of juggling is never finished. There is always refinements to be done.

What has been realized? Who is it that has realized it?

A real awakening is waking up from the person, seeing through it's illusion. So if the person is taking credit of the experience it will not last. Are there signs? Yes there is. An awakened person wants attention and respect for being enlightened. He can be a douche. Feel like he is better than others who hasn't "awakened". Someone who has truly realized what they are will never act this way. They will rather keep quiet.

I wish I had answers to your questions but I don't. There are no reasons why you should or shouldn't do anything. This will sound corny but the answer is follow your heart. If that is what you want to do, do it. ☺

Is it a problem then that you can't fly like birds or are as tall like the trees? Probably isn't a problem until you think about it?

@NoOne I get what you're saying. How can we help people when we have realized this. This is the part of the journey that we can refine forever. This is why there is no end to the enlightenment journey. There is no one solution. I can only think back to when I was in complete suffering, would I have been open to this? Definetly not. I was totally engulfed with feeling sorry for myself and distracting myself to not feel anything. Complete survival mode.
