  1. @Annetta You are not going to like this answer but.. meet the fear/anxiety of being alone head on. There is no shortcuts to bypass or transcend fear "negative" emotions. The funny thing about fear and anxiety is that when you avoid what you are fearful of, the fear will increase. You will get more and more afraid of it. But if you gradually expose yourself to it the fear will lessen.
  2. @Shin Yes. If something is trying to define itself through past or future experiences, characterics like enlightenment or being good, bad, smart, dumb it's not empty. It can be seen so it can't be "you".
  3. @Barna Enjoy it! And if you feel ego come back in trying to get control again please read this. And also here is some wise words from mooji.
  4. @LRyan These troubling times is a great opportunity to detach yourself from mind. Mind has no problem being still when everything goes the way it "should". But now survival mode is ON. It "needs" to struggle it's way back into the safe zone. Can you just observe the mind doing it's thing without attachment? @SLICKHAWK Yes in one way there is control over the body, but have you ever had the intention to pick up a glass of water just to knock it over and having water all over the table? If you had any control over the outcome would that really happen?
  5. It does seem like it. But whatever you choose to call the absolute it will still be absolute and all concepts of it are just a play with words. Whether you choose to call it God, Consciousness or Spirit it all points to the same absolute.
  6. @jasonjp1016 Religion is a belief that God exist. Atheism is a belief that God don't exist. They are on opposite sides on the same spectrum. Are one more true than the other?
  7. @Shin I've had a similar dream about death. I was sitting in a car parked at a parking lot outside a store. And a big SUV came up behind the car. For no reason it started drive into the back of my car, pushing it against the brick wall in front of the store. My car got pressed together and at one point I had the choice of throwing myself out of the car or sit still. I chose to sit still. Suddenly everything got black. The dream stopped there and I was conscious of the body again. There was a big energetic release from the gut that lasted for several minutes.
  8. @Loreena no drama? Then what would people do with their lives? They would get so bored that they constantly have to look at youtube clips on their cell phones. Oh wait! Seriously though, there is no need in getting involved in the drama. People will try to pull you in but if you don't engage they will stop after a while. Things can escalate before it gets calmer though but after that you're off their radar.
  9. @Visionary I wouldn't go as far as to say that empathy is egoic. It's the rest of the drama attached to it that is ego based. The excitement and drama that is created to revel in the emotions. Just watch how people exaggerate things when they tell you about something they experienced. They are creating a story and add drama to it just to make things alittle bit more interesting. Yes people love their drama else they wouldn't put so much time and effort on it.
  10. @Stoica Doru When I created that username there was still alot of "identity" and there still is some left. Be mindful of that identity sneaking in. There is still alot of work to be made to "unhook" that identity. Mooji explains it well in this video.
  11. @Stoica Doru What is 19 years old?
  12. @Stoica Doru You might want read this if you haven't already.
  13. I see. So it's more like embracing the moment, doing what the heart wants. Good. ? And about the dance class. Embrace the paradox man! ?
  14. Yes I know the feeling. When you're just tired of it all. Like it doesn't make any sense to keep going. Let go.. Just let go.
  15. @Shin Let the resistance arise and love it as much as the joy, crying and laughter.
  16. Are there any fear coming up or what resistance is experienced?
  17. It's about breaking the barriers one has built around ones heart. We build them to protect ourself from anything "bad" we might experiencing but it causes separation from that experience and hinders us to feel the love that is in any given moment. Can you let every experience hit you with full force?
  18. @Leo Gura This one deserves a pinned tag imo.
  19. @NotActualized Look at the thought "I have free will". It's a thought. That thought does not have any free will. It pops up and disappears. Now think of yourself, your name, your traits, your life, you future and past. Those are just a cluster of thoughts. Does those thoughts have free will? When I say that you have no free will I mean that what you identify with has no free will. The cluster of thoughts you believe is you including conditioning. When you awakening you will be free from that conditioning and one certainly "EXPERIENCE" free will. That feels really liberating. Like one is free to do anything. When the awakening deepens that sense of free will will start to diminish. One sees that everything is happening because it is happening without any cause. Mind is desperately trying to explain why. Just starting to scratch the surface on the last part
  20. @TJM1959 People are the way they are and there is nothing really we can do about it. What we can do is look inside ourselves and find the beliefs that people should be in a certain way. It can be tricky to not to get sucked into there drama but it gets easier when we stop judging them.
  21. @Alex90 After awakening the search is over and a new phase of the "journey" begins. So meditation won't be used for searching anymore. It might be used to ground yourself but also that must be let go of.
  22. @RossE So those things are meaningless. What do you find meaningful?
  23. @Scholar You are wondering what the next step is, but there is no next step. Things will unfold whenever it will unfold. Don't worry about it.
  24. @JKG Here's what I would do. Create a schedule of your spiritual practices. Then let that schedule be your master. No matter what excuses your mind comes up with follow that schedule. Resistance comes up for everyone. That is just thoughts popping up and they are not a problem. It's the identification with those thoughts that are. Also notice that you don't only have resistance, but also resistance to resistance. That comes from the value that it is bad, you think that it is bad therefore you resist it. Ask yourself is it really bad? Why? Is there anything that is good/bad in the world?
  25. @Samuel Garcia It is not easy to teach these subtle truths. Being a spiritual teacher is like being a comedian that tells jokes on a foreign language. The audience just do not get whats funny. How can they? They can't because it's in another language. Maybe a couple of the people in the audience knows the other language a little bit so the can kinda see the point of the joke. What's even worse for the spiritual teacher is that the audience thinks it knows the point. Thinks they understand what the teacher is saying. But in reality they don't have a clue. They laugh but miss the point completely or they don't laugh at all because they don't get what's funny.
