  1. Yes. It's aligning yourself with truth. You look at a belief for example and ask is that true? And discard it if it's not. By doing that you align yourself with truth. Are you interested in truth? Do you want to align yourself with what is true? That is the main question. Seeking for this enlightenment thing will only lead yourself astray. Is it truth or delusion? An enlightenment experience is only an experience. That will end in time. What remains is the knowing of what you are and that is a subjective truth. You will never be able to prove that to anyone else.
  2. @Zorka You align yourself with what is true and discard that which is not true. Does that lead you to insanity?
  3. @mandyjw I use different terminology but I have basically first done the heroes journey (awakening to nothingness) and now am making the grail path (perhaps you could call it a chakra cleansing or bodily awakening). I have heard about people doing it the other way around so I think it's legit. What has your path looked like?
  4. @Schahin It's like a child that first learns to stand then walk and later run. It can't run first can it?
  5. @AleksM Because his semantics are so different than mine I have a hard time understanding him. I understand fragments of it and those fragments seem to be very on point, pointing to truth. Some seems abit woo-woo but that might be because I haven't seen these dimensions of truth yet. Anyway thanks for sharing.
  6. @mkrksms We all have a tendency to try to get out when we feel trapped but the trick is to let your self be trapped.
  7. Yes, but to get over it one needs to get into it first.
  8. @Schahin it came into your life because you were ready for it. You were in that stage of your life where it made sense to you.
  9. @Truthority Yeah sometimes it's hard to wake up from the collective unconscious because you feel like an outcast. Not normal. I can relate to this. Is there really anything to say? Ultimately anything we say isn't true and also every perspective has some truth to it. So really what's the point? I guess there really isn't any.
  10. @kieranperez why make the kid sit still? If he has ADHD shouldn't we try to embrace that fact and adapt to his needs? Lets not torture him like that. ❤?
  11. So they have no substance. They are an illusion. Part of maya. See that for what it is as it arise. When you think your failing, see that it's an illusion, past conditioning. It's only a problem if we believe that it's true. You can contemplate on the matter by asking yourself where you learned that in the past. What's the earliest memories of being a failure? What's the earliest memories of being learnt that it's wrong to fail. Etc. There are also feelings in the body connected to these thoughts. Where are they in the body and how do they feel. Go into these feelings. Not questions for you to answer to me but something to ask yourself. When we see where in the past these conditionings are learnt it's easier to let go of that conditioning.
  12. @Jacobsrw what chooses what's right or wrong, Failure and success? Does failure actually exist? It's good that one can see that it is past condition that arises. If it keeps coming up it might be needed to dive deeper into that to see what belief is there that causes it.
  13. @Truth Addict It's probably fruitful to see where the person your communicating with is and communicate that which the person is ready to hear.
  14. But it is. Pure is a quality. If you can't see the paradox maybe contemplate further.
  15. As we begin to talk about the absolute words are not enough. On the one hand there is no qualities. Pure as you say. Nothingness. But pure is also a quality. Having no quality is also a quality. On the other hand the absolute is infinite. The world is the absolute so it also has an infinite number of qualities. You and I is a quality within it.
  16. I see it as the source having different qualities. Two of these qualities are #1 An Awaring quality, all knowing, infinite. This is obvious that we are tempted to call the source awareness or consciousness. But I think it's important to note that those are just qualities of the absolute and not the absolute. #2 A loving quality to experience, unconditional, all-inclusive, borderless, oneness. I would love (?) to hear people describe this loving quality further.
  17. Definetly a glimpse. And you are spot on about the ego wanting to analyze the experience. Just watch that happen without any judgment about it.
  18. @AleksM Thank you for taking the time to express and share this.
  19. That's a good pointer. Would you agree that this is a maturing that "happens" in it's time (unless something is holding on to the non-dual state?
  20. All reasons are manufactured by the mind and as we start to wake up from those 'authentic' action (like @Truth Addict talks about) will take its place. Maybe there is action toward a deeper spiritual realization maybe not. It's not really for one to decide. It just gotta feel like the right thing to do.
  21. @moon777light The danger with goals in spirituality is that we might cover up something in order to get to something else. If I want to become more loving toward other people, I might cover up the anger I'm feeling and "act" loving instead of examining the root cause of the anger. I might also want to examine the reason I want to become more loving. Is this to please everyone else? Or is it based on the belief that a spiritual person is supposed to be loving and kind? Examining one's goals might reveal ways we are deceiving ourselves.
  22. Residing in consciousness. That is objectifying consciousness. A something that is containing another thing. Is that aligned with your own experience?
  23. Consciousness is, but consciousness is not a thing so it's not contained within anything or nothing.
  24. Good! Maybe your trying to not make that happen?
  25. @Petals Very well put. Good Share!
