  1. @lightnessofbeing Let yourself feel whatever you feel and let yourself think whatever your thinking. Let those things come to the surface and become aware of them. Don't confront or revenge him for what he's done, Not for his sake but because it can have serious consequences for you. And if you can seek professional help.
  2. In the beginning it's much easier to get dips but as you get more experience they both decrease in frequency and magnitude. Keep up the work and the problem will disappear.
  3. @Matt23 That's it. Once you see the mechanisms of the separate self they start to lose power over you. Enlightenment is the realization of what You really are. It's not hard to be yourself is it? What's hard is not be yourself, that image you really have to struggle to maintain. For most this spirituality thing is a nice little hobby. Some might get glimpses but only a few let's go completely.
  4. Not a large enough study to make a scientific conclusion and also I don't really know anything about the method of the study. Probably good enough to form an opinion about it.
  5. @Rasheed Becoming more mindful around people will make you more conscious of how others manipulate you and you manipulate others.
  6. Just continue with doing that. It'll get easier and easier.
  7. Nice to here. If I might suggest, phase out the anti depressants slowly. For me it took a couple of months before I was totally off them. Some of the sympoms got worse while phasing them out.
  8. @Fede83 you don't need psychedelics. If you have a depression to go through then focus on eating healthy , daily exercise, steady daily routines. Look out for negative mental self talk and break those thought patterns.
  9. @Matt23 Are you trying to hard? Trying to get there? Forcing yourself to do certain techniques? How about trying the other way. Relax into it and let it come to you instead.
  10. Yeah I've experienced that. The level of consciousness rises throughout the day only to "reset" during sleep. What you can try is working with the subconscious with hypnosis meditation like this one: What I did was listening to these while I slept. It made the "reset" less and less noticable until it completely disappeared. Try different ones to see which one works best for you.
  11. @Javfly33 It seems like the normal thing for "thought" to be that way. It creates a thought that is completely opposite to what reality looks like and then imagines that to be real and reality to be the way it shouldn't be. Of course it's the thought that is imaginary and reality that is real. Could it really be any other way? Seems like we humans are conditioned to believe these thoughts but as we become more conscious of the illusionary nature of thought it starts to loose its power.
  12. @Forrest Adkins After awakening some addictions fall away. Others stay. The Enlightened person wouldn't do something based on any uncomfortability or desire. That's if all karmic patterns has been dissolved from the body.
  13. @Mindfang413 Life is a wonder that is not meant to be understood. Let it be a wonder and drop all questions about it. It is truly beautiful that way.
  14. @Red-White-Light The way is forward. You can't return to that paradigm, not when you've seen the truth. What you're experiencing is the ending of the spiritual honeymoon. That can be quite a rude awakening. It might seem like a step backwards but it is actually progress
  15. @MusicalPotato silence is a great teacher. Let it show you the way.
  16. Feeling emotions is completely normal. As you awaken you tend to get more and more sensitive to feeling. I'd say that what you should watch out for is a feeling of numbness. That might be a sign of some spiritual bypassing or trap.
  17. @Nak Khid If you want truth you can't flee from it. You stay still and let truth wash away all illusions. you can choose to let it happen or not. but you are not the one embodying it.
  18. @LfcCharlie4 I agree with what you said. Just to be clear I'm not saying I'm att LOC 1000. I' m not sure where I am in this.
  19. The realization of the absolute is only the beginning. Then comes the falling away of the separate self and all of it's illusions and the integration/embodiment of consciousness. You speak of it as there is still a separate self there after the integration has occured. There won't be any you left that is free to live life on it's own terms.
  20. The absolute has already been realized and the stopping has already occured here. What I'm talking about is what happens after that.
  21. I haven't found the bottom of the rabbithole yet and I'm not looking, all I do is free falling. Maybe the bottom will find me someday Mm yes. Going full circle from personhood to.. well something similiar but totally different.
