  1. @WHO IS Because the growth of a human being will be in benefit of the world even after the death of that human being. So grow for the sake human kind not for yourself.
  2. Anger (so much anger) Avoiding fear Seeing the energetic movement of the "ego"
  3. @MarkKol after an awakening experience the ego will often come back after some time, a minute, an hour, a week, a year. After the final liberation it dissolves permanently.
  4. @LennoxConner Even though the mind doesnt wander the point of the exercise is to let go of the intention to control. So wandering or no wandering mind is fine. ?
  5. @WHO IS The true self is no self and the no self is everything. ?
  6. @SoonHei i'd say two of the answers being 15 and 20. 15 is the most mathematically correct answer. Edit: missed the coaches whistles. Then I also arrive at 11.
  7. Profoundly ordinary. Or profordinary ???❤
  8. @Emerald Surrender was my path aswell. It can be a beautiful thing to let go and let the divine take you. ?
  9. What's best for you OR everyone else on the forum OR humanity might not be aligned. But I think you can trust that Leo will do what he believes is best for the forum.
  10. Things will happen anyway without the identification to a false self that believes it is the doer of actions. If there is hunger you eat and if tired you sleep.
  11. @Barna Beautifully written and I agree totally. Sincerity is the way. As we go deeper and deeper the sincerity either is there or it is not. Either sincerity get you deeper or comfortability will get you stuck. It's fine either way, no chooser to decide whether to go deeper or not when we are that far into it.
  12. Enlightened people still have emotions but there is no longer a desire to control them. The energy to control is no longer there and whatever arises spontaneously is part of the authentic self and is fine. Control is an activity of the mind. We are formed from our parents and society that some emotions are bad and that we should surpress them, control them. Be the person that they want us to be. So that is what we do, surpress, control to fit into their belief of who we should be until it becomes internalized in us.
  13. @Preetom Well said. Stop fighting whatever experience you're having. Stop chasing happiness and relief. Let the pain come forward. <3
  14. Then maybe meditation is not the answer. I didn't meditate to stop the thoughts. I broke the habit of listening to these thoughts and instead did something else.
  15. You don't need to awaken to realize this. What you need to do is see that the thoughts of unworthiness are just thoughts. No need give them any attention. When I stopped giving them attention these thoughts became less and less frequent to then completely stop arising.
  16. Yes intuition is there moment to moment. Following it always is the end of suffering.
  17. @Red-White-Light A great realization. Maybe not as profound as a blissful spiritual experience but important nonetheless. That's good to point out. The ego exists as energy in the body/mind but believing it's an entity separate from anything else that's what's realized to be a dream. Denying it is ironically a part of that egoic energy and is what we call spiritual bypassing. Ackknowledge that it exists yet don't let that energy control you.
  18. @pluto It has some great pointers to truth and the authentic self and also the separate self. My favorite is: "The Master views the parts with compassion, because he understands the whole. His constant practice is humility. He doesn't glitter like a jewel but lets himself be shaped by the Tao, as rugged and common as stone." I think Stephen Mitchell did a very good translation.
  19. @0ne I'm doing spiritual work right now at work while drinking tea and eating breakfast. Maybe it doesn't have to be hard?
  20. @DreamScape Anxiety and fear are powerful feelings, kudos to you for dealing with them on a daily basis. I remember when I had alot of fear and anxiety in my life. What helped me dealing with them the most was seeing the thought patterns that triggered the fear and anxiety. As I recognized them I started focusing on the present moment, the other senses such as sight and sound, the feeling of my feet on the ground or the back against the chair. That helped to break the thought loops that triggered the feelings of anxiety and fear.
  21. After awakening comes a time of trials or tests. It's where you start to act according to the realization. There will be temptations along the way and failure to act accordingly. Then comes a deep peace. "Our consciusness" is an illusion. There is just one consciosness and it's everything. It can be called God. It can be realized by you if that is what you want. Nothing created consciousness. Consciousness is the source of everything. 1. He is God is not the right way to put it because no one is God. God is not an entity. 2. God is the absolute. The creator. The source. 3. Not begotten but one could say that God begets everything since it is the source of creation. 4. Which is why it's such a hard thing to convey in language. Point to. There are levels of realization. Some might experience God as something other/in relation to oneself. And there are some who realizes they are God.
  22. @JalenS23 Nice to see people spread information about the benefits of a vegan/plantbased diet.
  23. If you can see that it is an illusion all it takes is the willingness to let go of it. You don't need to be fully awake to do that just decide between truth and illusion.
  24. That and the enlightened ego.
