  1. I see your point. If we continue with the red car analogy can you explain your reasoning why you shouldn't trust that you are experiencing a red car?
  2. If the deeply held belief is clenching my eyelids will believing you make me open my eyes?
  3. But if you're experiencing red then your experiencing red. Whatever your mind tells you to doubt that experience is an after thought.
  4. @Gneumatics Wonderful! ? You are already experincing 'this' through your senses so maybe start get in touch with those more and see how your thoughts are creating the delusions.
  5. @sleep If you see a red car and the person next to you say that it's green, do you believe the person or do you trust your own experience of it being red?
  6. @VeganAwake If I'm already home, but am unwilling to open my eyes to see this, how do you help me let go of my clenched eye lids?
  7. I just gotta say that I love the character. ?
  8. I'm just curious what the will/force is to you and how it manifests in the world.
  9. That might be the case but does the light force it's will or something else? ?
  10. @Mosess that seems to be the case for many in the beginning. Continue your practice and things will get easier and easier.
  11. @EternalForest If love is all there is, what if you embrace/love yourself just the way you are with all your likes and dislikes included?
  12. And what is it that sees the light? ?
  13. @NoN-RaTiOnAL "Resurrecting Jesus" by adyashanti is a map of the journey to enlightenment. Maybe not what your looking for but it was a good read/hear. ?
  14. What, in your direct experience, is making the claims that it is a disc or a sphere? And what is the moon without those claims?
  15. @Lottalookin1 I'm swedish aswell.
  16. Yes it's Intertwined in thoughts and feelings. To try to stop thinking is simply the belief that there is an I that can stop thinking. Which is more thought. Intertwined in feelings manifests as being reactionary to "external" triggers. The grasping/resisting in the gut. The division of the experiencer/experienced in the senses. "One cannot die only half way". Well we all try as best we can to not die all the way.
  17. @Eren Eeager Tao te ching is all about non-doership.
  18. @ivankiss The internal dialogue is what we believe we are and as we detach from it it starts to lose momentum. I'm not talking about the internal dialogue that we can see. Because what we see we are already are detached from but the internal dialogue that we inherently see as a part of ourselves. The thought we are so identified with that we believe that it is I.
  19. @Seemore When theres a natural flow between male and female that is true enlightenment.
  20. 1. Heaven is to be one with existence and act within the one. Hell is to believe that you are a separate person that needs to understand and act in a certain way, and needs to achieve and struggle to get there. 2. There are many examples of enlightened masters that have done inappropriate/horrible things. 3. Believing that there is a physical hell that you go to if you fail to act in a certain way is in itself hell. Let go of the fear of the unknown future. You don't know what will happen. 4. What's stopping you? Yes that is a great question that you might want to inquire into. 5. The ego is an illusion of the mind. The ego does not feel anything yet it claims that it does. 6. Hell is an illusion that we can see through. Hell might seem permanent but only until the death of the separate self happens.
  21. Anxiety might still appear and if it's sticky there mught be an underlying belief around it. Then you can inquire into it to resolve the root cause.
  22. @Endangered-EGO Let the body acclimate to the realization. Truthful actions comes as little gifts without any forcefulness to it. But in the beginning there might be more stillness/inaction.
  23. Unstoppable force vs immovable object round 3. FIGHT!
