  1. @Someone here Interesting theory. How did you come to that conclusion and how will you verify if it's true or not?
  2. @EntheogenTruthSeeker Enjoy! ? Let every thing fall away.
  3. @Strangeloop The "trying to" happens within the big picture. ?
  4. The only thing that wants to get rid of something is the ego. And it tries to get rid of itself because there's a belief that it will get enlightened that way.
  5. Where does one experience begin and where does it end?
  6. @WokeBloke Thank you for sharing you contemplations. I really enjoy reading them! ?
  7. Thirst is a feeling in the body so that "desire" is based on something real. If the desire is based on a separate self that have to move in time to get to a goal then that desire is based in illusion (thought).
  8. Yes, probably so but that is not the lack I'm trying to convey. With desire comes unhappiness and believing that you will become happy once you get what you desire but once desire is let go of the happiness is already there. So desire is the illusion of lacking something and believing it causes unhappiness.
  9. @WokeBloke There is desire which is part of the separate selfs longing to feel whole. It's based in the belief that it lacks something and needs something to be happy or at peace. Then there's the effortless wanting. Like for example when one is thirsty and goes to fetch some water. You just go into the kitchen and drink some water, there was never any lack because there was never any belief that it wasn't yours already. Just effortless happening. Any desire based on lack is to be surrendered because it's based in separation.
  10. @digitalkaine Yes, you could see Jesus life as a map for Enlightenment. The first awakening happening when he was baptized by John and the crucifixion being a metaphor for final liberation/enlightenment.
  11. The mind can't grasp it because it's beyond the minds reach. Just be in that state as much as you can. ?
  12. God wrote this and killed innocent people. But the reason God did it was because it had forgot that it was god.
  13. The silence is always there no matter what happens. Let the body move and make sounds and be the silence.
  14. The question rather becomes what's holding on to the distinction between nothing, everything and something. If there is no distinctions between those and it's all ONE then what is there left to talk about?
  15. @WokeBloke I haven't used his teachings so I can't tell you the effectivness of it. Nothingness and no-self is only halfway there so eventually you need to throw away the teaching and embrace fullness, everythingness and somethingness.
  16. @EntheogenTruthSeeker Usually we run from the negative feelings by distravting ourselves but instead meet the fear and stress instead of moving with them and they will dissipate.
  17. From the perspective of ONE which view is true and which is false? Aren't they all finite views within ONE?
  18. If it's ONE then how could it be separate from nothing? Good point. Words are nothing and since they are we cant hold onto any idea because that would be holding onto something.
  19. @Gesundheit2 If the aim is waking up then acting selfless or selfish is just a distraction in my opinion. That assumes that all people act based on wanting to feel good which probably is true for most people. The human body is conditioned to stay away from feeling bad and to embrace feeling good. Truth is facing the bad feelings all the way.
  20. @Egodeathrow He's speaking about the emptiness which is the awakening from mind. Then he talks about that enlightenment might make you hate your family which makes me believe that he hasn't seen through the emotional aspect of the self or awakening of the heart. He seems awake it's just that there is more to enlightenment than what he speaks of.
  21. Let thought go, connect to intuition and let it lead the way. ?
  22. Be the boundless nothingness and the rest will take care of itself. The dilemma and the questions comes from the mind and the mind can't go to the place where it wants to go. You are exactly where you supposed to be which is right here in this moment. From here it's all about seeing through the illusion of the next thought and feeling and surrender them.
  23. Yes those questions can be interpreted as being quite provocative but they weren't meant be that. Just something to contemplate.
