  1. It's impossible to reach enlightenment because it's a figment of our imagination.
  2. @liliacvine Have you noticed how we can't change our experience and that resisting it is futile?
  3. What is there to say about it anyway
  4. @Nadosa Thank you for sharing your story and sorry your going through such a rough time. Awakening is no joke. It sure brings out every little drop of suffering in us until there's nothing left. Isn't it funny how we can go from being totally emerged in the suffering to clarity and seeing it as a delusion in an instance? Sometimes we can get stuck in a place inbetween delusion and clarity where we see the delusions as delusions yet we resist/supress them because they are to painful to see fully. Which make them persist. When we let them run it's course without trying to manipulate them the energy which they are based on starts to fall away. Have you tried to journal about this? This can be a tool for this energy to express itself fully without any suppressing/resisting happening.
  5. It's good for finding good parking places if you ask Adyashanti. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGKWnv2mDbU
  6. @RMQualtrough ? The "enlightened" self is also let go of. The enlightened identity is not yet enlightenment.
  7. @WokeBloke Everything in your experience can divided into seeing, hearing, feeling, tasting, smelling and thought. SEEING of the sentence takes place. Recognition of what the sentence means and what to respond. (THOUGHT) THOUGHT can appear as sound. Self talk (THOUGHT) can often have a sound like quality. Can also be in form of pictures or a movie. Can speaking happen without THOUGHT. Can HEARING take place without the mind trying to interpret it? I urge you to explore this. ? Said as sound (HEARING) or within the mind (THOUGHT).
  8. Truth has no agenda so being truthful and honest can be a really powerful practice. Truth is already here. This moment is Truth so my advice is to start examining what it consist of That's good. It's a powerful realisation to realize you don't know anything. Something that might be worth examining is the energy of needing and wanting to know the truth, truth is already here so what is there really to know about it?
  9. @Someone here Illusion is simply something appearing to be something that it is not. A mirage appears to be an oasis in the desert but it's only a mirage of an oasis. There seems to be a separate self called @Someone here but it was only identification to the sense perceptions. There seems to be a car but it just is without any definitions. These mirages appears within reality as reality and when reality wakes up they are seen for what they are, mirages.
  10. Hm kinda sounds like a script doesn't it? ? Creator and creating is a duality. The creator is an illusion.
  11. No, if you want to believe you live in a world where everyone else is a scripted machine then go ahead, I'm not going to stop you. ? <end-script#000452F1Q4> Can you prove to yourself that you aren't a scripted machine? In a sense that's what the mind is and that is what most people are believing.
  12. How does one determine what desires improve life and which doesn't? Are there good and bad desires?
  13. @Someone here Interesting theory. How did you come to that conclusion and how will you verify if it's true or not?
  14. @EntheogenTruthSeeker Enjoy! ? Let every thing fall away.
  15. @Strangeloop The "trying to" happens within the big picture. ?
  16. The only thing that wants to get rid of something is the ego. And it tries to get rid of itself because there's a belief that it will get enlightened that way.
  17. Where does one experience begin and where does it end?
  18. @WokeBloke Thank you for sharing you contemplations. I really enjoy reading them! ?
  19. Thirst is a feeling in the body so that "desire" is based on something real. If the desire is based on a separate self that have to move in time to get to a goal then that desire is based in illusion (thought).
  20. Yes, probably so but that is not the lack I'm trying to convey. With desire comes unhappiness and believing that you will become happy once you get what you desire but once desire is let go of the happiness is already there. So desire is the illusion of lacking something and believing it causes unhappiness.
  21. @WokeBloke There is desire which is part of the separate selfs longing to feel whole. It's based in the belief that it lacks something and needs something to be happy or at peace. Then there's the effortless wanting. Like for example when one is thirsty and goes to fetch some water. You just go into the kitchen and drink some water, there was never any lack because there was never any belief that it wasn't yours already. Just effortless happening. Any desire based on lack is to be surrendered because it's based in separation.
  22. @digitalkaine Yes, you could see Jesus life as a map for Enlightenment. The first awakening happening when he was baptized by John and the crucifixion being a metaphor for final liberation/enlightenment.
  23. The mind can't grasp it because it's beyond the minds reach. Just be in that state as much as you can. ?
  24. God wrote this and killed innocent people. But the reason God did it was because it had forgot that it was god.
  25. The silence is always there no matter what happens. Let the body move and make sounds and be the silence.
