Isn't this basically what Nahm was pointing to the whole time and then got banned? Demoted*** -
Godishere replied to justfortoday's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@justfortoday hey man, when I had my biggest awakening, I really felt the ETERNALNESS of God. It has scared me away from awakening. I know this is just conjecture and thoughts now. But that awakening, honestly it made me want to go back to "sleep" forever. Although, here I am still curious lol. I can't describe to anyone how it felt it words, but it felt like I couldn't turn this thing OFF, EVER. And that's what terrified me. Is this some shadow work I need to overcome? Is enlightenment like this for everyone, was it the chemical I used? I really did do anything to delude myself from the solipsistic, eternal KNOWING or Feel I experienced. It's left me unsure if to pursue any further as I really do enjoy the dream. I'm kind of terrified of psychedelics now, when previously they were a very loving and enjoyable thing for me. -
Leo, does your teaching differ to that of Ramana Maharshi? Psychedelics aside, would you say that his core teachings/views align to what you teach in terms of God Realization etc.

@Leo Gura what actually happens when you/I fully Awaken? I mean do you just forget and start again? Do you incarnate back/forget your own infinitude? -
Godishere replied to Godishere's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Leo Gura why wouldn't I just design a "game" that I could never wake up in then. Why is it so difficult to accept myself as God? -
Godishere replied to Godishere's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Leo Gura so.. I get what you're saying, Solipsism in every sense of the word. Buy, why would I do this? Why would I inflict all of this suffering and fear on myself? And most importantly, if I am alone, why would I want to wake up!? -
Godishere replied to Godishere's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Leo Gura well to my understanding he says there are other finite minds but only one consciousness. So many finite minds appearing within the same time/space but only ever a continuum of singular awareness. Wouldn't this be accurate to what consciousness and love IS? So in a paradoxical way, yes there are others but they are YOU in another life. A singular infinite dream that never ends from one carnation to another. -

@VeganAwake @VeganAwake @Nahm so... If the individual/ego/self is completely unreal. What is it? What are the sensations, perceptions, thoughts, feelings of I? What is this I? Because for example, you can have a psychedelic trip and realise this illusory nature of the self. But then you come back to the sober state or "yourself" and they are now just thoughts/ideas and memories about what happened(occuring now). So what are the feelings and not the thoughts of being I? If I self inquire, and focus on feeling(sober state) my body is still here? The room is still here? Do I need to "still" the thoughts more, or is enlightenment or the dropping of the self something that just happens without any force or tentative effort? Must I completely drop the idea and concept of "seeking" altogether? It's definitely confusing when multiple sources say different things on here in regards to what actual enlightenment IS and means. It seems more intuitive to me that you can't "know" what enlightenment is but Leo seems to think otherwise. -
In your experience have you found that becoming more conscious or more Self-aware has improved your life? In my recent awakening all I wanted was to go back to sleep and back into the illusion of life? The more awake/conscious I've been, the universe seems to lose its wonder and mystery.. and everytime I do "awaken", I tell myself to stop seeking as I know it's just a game I'm playing on myself and I'd rather actually be "asleep" or ignorant. I feel like I've seen enough to intuitively know that I'm everyone, everything and immortal but what now? What's the purpose of pursuing any further? When there's no one else to awaken what's even the point. Seriously?

@Fearless_Bum yeah but when the veil is lifted and you can see what's beyond "ordinary life" and then you come back and try to talk about what was seen. How can you do that without concepts and beliefs? Otherwise why use the words such as love, unity, God, oneness as pointers, or why say anything at all? It's all conjecture and concepts if we want to boil it down to that? -
Godishere replied to Godishere's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@NahmI appreciate your reply man. But where am I going wrong here. If we are not God, one/infinite mind. Then what are we? -
Godishere replied to Godishere's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Consilience well I mean of course it's conceptual. How else can I explain myself without concepts? We are talking in language. Dualistic language. A separation WE create no? Anyways, what's the difference between meditating all day and doing something else you enjoy? Isn't this all just divine perfection and self-love anyway? We are God after all. -

@dearleo123 this has nothing to do with Leo my friend and honestly man, part of me wishes what you said was true. I think what your saying is good and we do need people like yourself; people who play an important part in keeping us drawn further into the illusion of life. It's actually quite cute and makes me chuckle how self deceived we can be as a society. However, psychedelics will reveal all of YOUR fictional beliefs and YOUR lies and deep down you know this. And yes, I'm not claiming to know "The Truth". If I did, I wouldn't be here talking about it would I. It's a paradox which either way you will realize on the day your physical body diminishes or the day you awaken and that's your choice. I'm not an unhappy person and my question was directed at people who have actually awoken. I'm not sure why you're on this forum if you think what's being said is nonsense! You seem to waste alot of time here! Time you will never get back, remember? ? -
Godishere replied to Godishere's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Tyler Durden exactly man. That's my point though. The seeking is the biggest illusion of it all. There's nothing to seek. It's just not the same when you know it's a fantasy! ? -
Godishere replied to Javfly33's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Tyler Durden find out and let me know? lol. It was clear to me that once you are fully awake you're too conscious of the illusion of others and the game of life itself. You also realize what Alan Watts meant by "once you get the message hang up the phone". It's all just spiritual ego shit man. I am you, you are me. Zero separation apart from the though attachment and belief in it being so. -
Godishere replied to Javfly33's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Yarco there is no separation to begin with! ? That's the illusion of the separate self. There is none. But if you were conscious of this you would be dead. -
Godishere replied to Javfly33's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Javfly33 You're not in reality, you ARE reality, including everyone and everything. What you're actually doing is playing a game with yourself to create an identity because if you didn't you would be dead. You play these games like "I am less than reality", as a mechanism for your survival. -
Godishere replied to Vincent S's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Vincent S yeap just had this last night. It's all just a game and illusion you're playing on yourself. There's nothing to seek. Nowhere to go. For me the seeking is over now. I've seen enough for now and I want to enjoy the illusion of other, isn't that what life is about!!!? Doing stuff because it feels "good". The terrifying thing is that it's eternal! Infinite! To the ego that sounds fun and great but the actuality of it is maddening. -
Godishere replied to Vido's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Leo Gura do you still have a bias against death? Or would you say it has significantly diminished to where can put your consciousness on to the reality it doesn't actually exist. -
Do these occur simultaneously?

Yes. He's a complete tool. -
Godishere replied to CuriousityIsKey's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Terell Kirby @Terell Kirby and when one perspective is imagined or "on", what does that make the other perspectives? -
Godishere replied to CuriousityIsKey's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Carl-Richard what's the difference between human and God? -
Godishere replied to ABM1294's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I think of it as both. It's dualistic and non dualistic. When you're awake, it's just You. When you're asleep it's many, or the illusion of many. This doesn't mean that others are NPC zombies, they are also conscious but not in actuality. So God can bend and twist the flow of consciousness but it will always return to it's natural flow. -
How is it possible the Self can awaken to "itself" I.e realize there is no self, no other? But simultaneously be viewed from another subjective perspective and not realized? Trying hard to articulate this question, but basically how does God awaken to itself without conflicting two dreams? The non dual and the dual. As our subjective experience is all we have, this is guess work. But I'm just curious on how this is possible? Sorry if this is confusing.. and I'm expecting an answer like God imagines everything or God cannot be grasped conceptually. But not quite the understanding I'm looking for.. although maybe this is limit of a human mind
