@Leo Gura he posted this a couple of days ago where he explicitly says you are God. His overall message from what I understand is: 1. You are God 2. You have always been God and since God is infinite and not two, knowing God is just another thought of the separate self. 3. Through allowing thoughts to settle via meditation, the true nature of your being is seen clearly (not knowing, since knowing something is a duality). When I say survive, I mean the desire for needs to be met and things to go your way in life. What I'm asking is if reality is an illusion and you can't die, why have the desire to survive? If you're conscious it's an illusion why would you care about anything? Do you think this is what keeps us dreaming?

What about desire to survive? If you were truly conscious of yourself as God, why be limited? This isn't a nihilistic question btw. I'm genuinely curious what your thoughts are.

Psychedelics will definitely collapse the duality between subject/object, which in relatively is something a you does. So you can do something. You're basically saying to give up when there are methods that are proven to weaken the 'sense of self'

I can't speak on past or future lives as it's only possible in thought, however my insights have told me the following: The Universe is an illusion which is what you're failing to grasp. You have a myopic view of reality and lack the levels of awareness to see that it's your own construction and perfect. When I woke up it felt like everything in my life was perfect/designed to lead me to my awakening. I no longer have these levels of awareness and am going off memory of my insight.

People need teachers we're they're at on a relative level. But what I'm saying is the 'knower' is the hamster on the wheel. Every 'conscious step' towards truth is a step away from truth. As I said, you still think liberation it's something to attain, it's not. It's a recognition that you already are liberated. I fully get it though, the ego just can't handle the truth. It will do anything to avoid the truth. It's an illusion. You are ALREADY GOD.

From what I gather, liberation is not an attainment but what you already are. If consciousness is non dual then liberation must already be the case. Think about it, liberation implies that something is not already liberated. It sounds like you're using concepts to think of a time that a 'you' will become liberated. Maybe you ARE liberation. Even the thought "here and now" are just concepts. But if you drop the entire thought of a 'you' who is liberated, all that is left if awareness. Because I've had the realizations before such as "I am exactly where I need to be" etc. But they are ultimately thoughts that come and go. Whereas the only thing that doesn't come and go is the awareness of all of these realizations, concepts. I do not believe that a you is ever liberated. Liberation only exists always now and is something that is never lost. You might be thinking the same

You have taken solipsism as a belief. You are not alone at the human level. Everyone you interact with here is as real as you. It's just that it's all one consciousness. It's very tricky to explain and anyone who attempts to explain it is just leading you further from the Absolute. The ego loves ideas and beliefs

What's beyond no self that's not a concept? Hypothetically, If God has no self, who's way beyond no self?

I think we say "the truth" because when you awaken it becomes obvious what is a lie ? Well said, and all of that was done with philosophy! But you're right. I don't think it's necessary, but for us western, logical type it does seem to be.

When I say distraction I mean it loosely. Why I say distraction is because the thing you fear the most is to discover that nothing is real. So it's fun to theorize and philosophize about the truth instead of facing the truth. It's pretty funny if you think about it. I have found in myself that all conceptualization only led further from the truth but I had to go through that stage to have that epiphany. It's actually so relieving to know that any belief is falsehood. The ego will never stop seeking until you have that insight, I am the Truth.

You can't know the truth because you are the truth. So basically unless you're doing the practices to become aware you are the truth, you're just entertaining/distracting yourself. The whole forum is basically a distraction from the truth ? It's good to have the theory if you actually awaken so you don't think you've gone insane though.
