Absolutely pointless. Anyone ever had any success trying to educate a materialist/ religious person that God is an experience?

@OneHandClap wow man. I had literally the exact same experience on LSD; I felt like if I went any further I would get sucked into the void and that would be the end. It was terrifying but maybe It would have been complete ego dissolution and I should have surrended to it. It felt so real. Like I would literally die, lying there on my carpet staring out the window. I feel more prepared to surrender to the experience next time. Has anyone else had this kind of experience and surrended completely? I just want to know I won't physically die haha. I'm still very attached to my life ? -

@Someone here what your saying is partially true, however just simply being in the present moment will not raise you conciousness to the point where you will awaken. You are not Eckart Tolle or Rubert Spira. Even then... are these guys even really awake? The present moment is such a small facet of awakening IMO, it's like spirituality for dummies. This is obvious when you realize time is illusory, imaginary and just another duality. Enlightenment/awakening/samadhi IS a state. And if you have not experienced this state, then yeah you would probably say something like this. This is simply wrong. This will not awaken you. Honestly, it just won't. Your true nature is Nothingness, however "doing" nothing will not awaken you to God. Leo has about 20 techniques he mentions in his what is God series that will might get you there though. But if your a normal human like 99.9% of us, we don't have 10,000 hours of patience to meditate and do self inquiry. Psychedelics will get you there very quickly if you are serious about Truth. Otherwise your wasting your time and energy in my experience. -

Awaken deeper, realize what the present moment actually is; then go from there. Mediation will not get you there alone. Meditation is just about observing what appears in conciousness. So what I'm saying essentially, as you awaken deeper and realize the survival games you are playing, the less you will care about frivolous crap. ? -

I feel like the term "enlightenment" is thrown around vaguely. There is so many levels of awakening, so what really defines someone who is "enlightened"? I'm assuming you are trying to interpret this because you want to grasp what an awakening is? -

Anyone who follows an ideology is a sheep. People will never let go of their silly survival mechanisms.. maybe if they took 250ug LSD they would stand a chance of letting their imaginary worldviews go. Even then, I doubt it. No hate brah just stating the obvious -
Godishere replied to Wilhelm44's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
God is a mystery. That's why is just IS. The way we use imaginary is just a more accurate way of explaining reality, rather than a material existence. However, when you truly awaken, you will realize that it really is all fantasy/ hallucination and this will be the death of your identity. The reason we say it's Nothing is because it has no substance. Aka there is no material world, only an empty void of conciousness. -

@Bojan V interesting.. from my own perspective and awakenings, I realised there's no point talking about enlightenment because I'm literally just talking to myself! People don't want to wake up. Humans don't want Truth, as Leo would say they want hamburgers sex and money. So what's the point inn discussing it. -
Godishere replied to SolarWarden's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
LSD/5-MeO-DMT. Forget the spiritual teachers. They are all just pointing to something which can't be pointed too. A few trips combined with some self enquiry will teach you more than any master could ever teach you. Although I will add, without Leo's teachings, Im not sure if I could have "jailbroken" my self/ego. He was definitely a catalyst. But then I also realise at the metaphysical, Leo is just me. -

@VeganAwake @Godishere but the 10 commandments say otherwise! ? This is God's law ? -
Godishere replied to OneIntoOne's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@OneIntoOne well again, why do you think that? Morality is a human construct.. -
Godishere replied to OneIntoOne's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Why do you think you have to be humble and sincere to be enlightened? These are all relative and projections anyway. I mean you can be conscious of God and still be an asshole, God doesn't care. If you mean less selfish then yeah, I guess that's a natural byproduct of becoming more conscious anyway -
Godishere replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
That's was a mind fuck to read ? I think I get your point though. The duality of perceived and perceiver. Subject vs object. This is the illusion right? There is no difference between you and the external world. Is this not the basics of non-duality? This was the first mystical experience I had; when I realised my conciousness was not localized and I wasn't my body/self. Correct me if I'm wrong or if I'm missing your point. -
Godishere replied to OneIntoOne's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@OneIntoOne These are just thoughts and ideas using language. I feel what your trying to convey is actually impossible without dissolving into Infinite Love and physically dying. God wants to experience duality; otherwise we/you/I wouldn't be here discussing it. Enlightenment is just becoming more conscious of what was not previously concious. Of course there are layers and layers of understanding because the universe is infinite.. and I realise what I am saying is also relative and not absolute; so therefore these are also just ideas and concepts. We are God cosplaying as humans. If the ego completely dissolves what happens to your physical body? -
Godishere replied to Unio's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Javfly33 ? more like a 3. Baseline conciousness just seems to be a normal state where you are more "aware" of what reality is at a deeper and deeper understanding. This is achieved through having these states of awakening. In my limited experience anyway, and I have had many facets of awakening. -
Godishere replied to Javfly33's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Javfly33 wow I have felt this aswell. In the peak of my trips, where it feels like if I surrender any further my body will literally die... It's feels like too much love/ conciousness for my ego to handle and I pull back. -
If the Truth doesn't leave you in an existential crises for your own survival, then it's not Truth. Same gos for your so called "awakenings". It's so painfully obvious to people who are actually conscious that I have to just put it out there. Don't claim you know jack shit about spirituality when you are fucking cosplaying as chimps. Sorry. Rant over. But please, just be honest with yourself and your level of conciousness and enlightenment. Myself included of course, I am you, you are me and if you don't comprehend that at cellular level, you are not awake. There's alot of misinformation I see being spread about my teachings. Thanks Leo. I have nothing more to add here.

@Space @Godishere I hear your perspective of course. The minor insights are gentle, subtle. The larger ones that are difficult to face and admit are terrifying. I mean hey, it's only your entire existence we are referring to here. -

@Space haha interesting. Who are these "some"? ? -

@VeganAwake @VeganAwake hahaha I love that man that's a great metaphor -
Godishere replied to raytvor's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@raytvor the question your asking is probably more like, "have I had a shift in my conciousness". Or, have I became more conscious? And to answer the question. If you have doubt then no, if you have a mystical experience, there is zero doubt. You will realize that you are not your body/ mind, this is not a thought or feeling. -
Is it just me, but after having awakening experiences into no Self, the Self, nothingness and non-duality, I just can't take some of these spiritual teachers seriously. In particular, the ones that have no experiences with psychedelics. I am very sceptical at even the validity of their claimed states of consciousness. After experiencing these non-dual states of consciousness on LSD and mushrooms, I just cannot believe these states and insights are achievable without psychedelics. I'm not claiming to be be better or more self aware than these anti psychedlic teachers but how have they achieved these mystical states? I just don't buy it, there's no way in a million years I could have had these awakenings without them, which obviously doesn't mean they can't but still. Has anyone actually achieved awakenings without psychedelics? Who also has many trips under their belt to reference them against..

Godishere replied to Godishere's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Leo Gura completely agree. I've been watching Leo's videos consistently for 2+ years now trying to wrap my head around this whole spirituality thing. At first I was skeptical at his claims, but open-minded. It wasn't untill I had my first glimpse on psychedlics of course that I realised the validity of what is being said. Maybe my mind has been lubricated enough through his teachings and that the insights were already there and are just now being actialized. Good luck to anyone on this journey who's doing it without psychedelics. I didn't want to do them either out of fear, I am blind but now I see. -
Godishere replied to Godishere's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Leo Gura @Leo Gura @Moksha fair enough, I respect your opinion and your choice to not use them. However, I feel like if you took a high enough dose of LSD your entire concept of spirituality would change. Of course the psychedelic is only a temporary state. But these temporary states show you just how far off the mark you are. So far, that even though I'm not in a mystical state, I am still aware I am typing to myself and the boundary between you and me is imaginary. As for a genetic component, wouldn't it make more sense, your level of social conditioning and the density of your ego . Maybe the genetic component is actually your open-mindedness, intuition and genuine desire for Truth seeking. For example, I was born into a materialistic household. God, spirituality or religion was never even a discussion. But for me, I just wanted to know the truth for its own sake. I had an intuition that there was more to reality than what I was made to believe. I could have easily adopted some ideology but deep down I knew it was a fantasy and a survival mechanism. The psychedelic completely and utterly shattered that.
