I would call the totality of these influences Karma. Of which genetics is a important part. Wilber once defined something like Kosmic Karma: The totality of all appearances in the Infinity of the Kosmos, going from one moment to the next. Cause & effect. And then there is individual Karma. And there is not only genetics. There is a subtle body of each being spanning multiple levels of subtle energy, infused by higher-dimensional remants of each being which doesnt incarnate fully ("soul").
