  1. I mean..his words, pointers and questions stun my mind...leaving me dumbfound and silent
  2. @Joseph Maynor Yeah it's kinda uncomfortable cause it points exactly to our unconscious assumptions and beliefs. It throws our materialist paradigm into the trash, sticks with direct experience and leaves us mindfucked.
  3. Another thing I wanna mention. YEAH NOTHING MATTERS AFTER THE DREAM IS OVER. But it matters 100% RIGHT FUCKING NOW when my ass is suffering and I'm looking for something to fix it. That's what begins the inevitable journey towards self actualizaion
  4. The truth has been spoken!! About Leo, we gotta understand that all teaching/information rests on a particular context. I don't think you can prepare a teaching which will teach you to become Donald Trump and a Zen Master at the same time. Totally acing both fields... Leo teaches from his perspective. So of course, he shares principles and techniques that resonate and work for him. AGAIN, If a Mcdonald's chef is so happy and fulfilled with his own job and whatever he does, then he wouldn't be 'searching' for a LEO over the internet to find answers to his frustration and helplessness towards life. So just let him do his job and remain 'happy' And those who are seeking for answers already cause they feel a lack/wound, you can't send them back to their old Mcdonald's chef job. So just let them search, learn and find fulfillment in their lives Finally its so easy to say just let go everything and enjoy life. But how are you gonna let go something which you don't even have in the 1st place? I guess its wiser to focus on our own selves and let everyone take their own time and path to realize the truth of letting go and enjoying life
  5. @Viking This is something I must start doing as well! For the 1st time in your life, completely allow yourself to be lazy!! WITHOUT ANY RESERVATION Take 1-2 weeks off. Just take your regular 3-4 meals a day and see if you can spend the whole day doing absolutely nothing. Just sitting and lying down. Let go of all worries, all plans of future, the effort of figure out stuff. Don't even try to meditate JUST FIND OUT HOW MUCH LAZY YOU CAN ACTUALLY BE. FIND OUT WHATS AT THE HEART OF WHAT YOU CALL 'LAZINESS'
  6. @egoless Whats wrong with being Mcdonald's CEO? Nothing! If you are totally happy and ecstatic eating junk food, jacking off to porn, lying and manipulating etc all the time then whats stopping you from living that life? If the hedonistic life is so great then why is self-reflection arising in the 1st place? After all, your body/mind calls for your attention only when you are in pain and suffering or something is out of balance/something needs to be done to readjust. All pain and suffering are call for attention to look at ourselves. It would be much more efficient to actually focus on becoming Mcdonald's CEO and getting whatever that comes with it rather than speculating about what is meaning/purpose/happiness of it. Why are you trying to find an answer or argue If you really think that being Mcdonald's CEO will make you complete. The attempt to generalize purpose/meaning/values/morality across everyone is one of the core reasons of conflicts. PS: This reply is not a personal attack towards you. If it feels that way then its either my failure to articulate it properly or its just the nature of texts on screen
  7. @Charlotte I just made a post with this video. If you decide to invest 1h 15 min of your time to properly educate yourself about Enlightenment then this one video is the right place to go. It will give you the accurate big picture understanding with which you can strategize around and always come back for a check.
  8. Could be a Samadhi experience. I don't know if it'll convey any meaning but congratulations
  9. More and more doubts are getting resolved PS: This one video has the capacity to educate you about the real thing which you've been searching for years in pieces. Don't let this opportunity of understanding the pinnacle of non duality slip by. Thank me later. Or not!
  10. I'm not against practicing. Enlightenment can have a discontinuous jump aspect to it. A shift which can only come from outside the mind, outside my control..aka grace
  11. Our reality/present moment experience is heavily influenced by our beliefs/moods/thoughts/the part of our 'personality' which is present at that exact moment. In fact, there could be no 'real' substance behind our perceptions other than our interpretations of it. As a kinda shy, introvert guy I've always felt insecure and fearful when I came across someone totally extrovert and vocal. What induces fear in me is just a natural expression for these extrovert people. Btw I love how you respond to others in a polite manner while keeping many possibilities open. Not a very common trait over the internet
  12. Thanks for these words! Let the de-hypnotization begin
  13. Psyches ain't available where I live. Maybe one day... All I got is self inquiry and ruthless honesty for now sounds awesome! good for you. All the best
  14. I know I'll be dead by the time I enlighten my ass. I don't really have a fantasy of mass enlightenment or creating a puppet utopia that will serve my agendas. I want a permanent shift within me. The rest is upon grace
  15. so true!! in this sense its the toughest work there is. you're actually turning back and challenging the very thing/ego thats been keeping you 'alive'..willing to dismantle yourself piece by piece..and you dont really know whats on the other side who really wants to do that unless you got at least a little doze of 'crazyness' inside you to begin with haha
  16. I never said anything about Jim I was sharing my opinion on how most people aren't really interested in this work.
  17. @Joseph Maynor Most people would never even consider the possibility that they could be something other than their cluster of thoughts/feelings/sensations and really inquire into it honestly. It took me like 3-4 years just to educate myself and get my head around what Enlightenment is and the radical possibilities conceptually. And I still feel I'm just getting started to understand. But the good news is, the more educated I become the stronger my resolve grows for this work. So the hundreds of hours of listening to Leo and others, reading at least a dozen books on Enlightenment for 4-5 years wasn't a waste. And yet I could be understanding wrong and deluding myself Tell me how many people will actually keep up this wild goose chase for 4-5 years just to get some 'knowledge' which isn't really bringing you any gains right now. Most people want 'immediate relief' and modern society has done very good job providing it. When you're living in a self-actualizing bubble, its very easy to forget what most people are into. But the good news is, the more chimp the society becomes, the more suffering there is which is kinda forcing more and more people to wake the fuck up
  18. @Charlotte It could be many things other than arrogance as well. Its only words on screen after all and you can read them with hundreds of tones and moods. The same text induces fear in some, the desire to start verbal war in some, the desire to agree and glorify it in some, the desire to self reflect in some etc. If your orientation isn't right, its so easy to get busy with distractions and get hurt. I know I should be taking this advice myself.
  19. makes me wonder...are these RSD guys really getting enlightened or they are just so cunning to realize that their dick and face are getting too old to keep up with the thousand fucks per year.. what if all these spiritual talks are just a new turn for their careers knowing that they can use their 'silvertongue' to repeat some flowery new age stuff to keep people hooked?
  20. @Shanmugam I've always been curious about how an enlightened being makes decisions and acts it out. I'll try my best to make the questions as straightforward as I can. Thanks in advance 1) How do you make a decision? suppose you see someone here saying something from his ignorance and you decide to state the truth. Does that decision pop up and you find yourself typing simultaneously without any gap of self reflection? Or there are multiple possible thoughts like ''I can either reply to this forum or I could go out for a walk. These will be the pros and cons of this decision so and so...'' and then you 'choose' to type your answer knowing that the other possibilities got 'sacrificed' so that your current decision could be manifested. 2) Are you 'mindful' in all the waking hours? 24/7? like feeling every single of your breath or feeling the body as a whole no matter what work you are doing? Or do you get 'spaced out' from time to time like everyone else? like you keep looking at computer screen and an hour passes by without you even being conscious that you were alive 3) Have you ever somehow become 'conscious' during deep sleep? 4) When you are dreaming, does the knowledge that you are not the body-mind still keep intact? Or is Enlightenment only for the 'waking' state and you totally identify with your dream self no matter how much enlightened you are as long as the dream lasts? 5) Is there any doer-ship involved all throughout the day? Or you just 'see' everything happening by itself while your focus lies on the self/consciousness/the background?
  21. Find out what you are missing.. https://youtu.be/QY19rcu7Oh0?t=1m21s
  22. Can you do mention anything in life you do whose end goal isn't happiness? I'm curious
  23. @Nahm Agree with you 100% tho. Its shocking how the mode of perception shift in seconds when self inquiry hits at the 'right place'
