  1. Meh, sure you are light, but you are also darkness. You are all the mundane shit, all the evil and the bad. Every microfiber in this universe is the way it is because if you, no one and nothing else. it’s profound in its complex simplicity
  2. Sure there is free will. But that's not the right question. The question should be, who is it that has the free will?
  3. Seems more like you have some kind of social anxiety/agoraphobia?
  4. @Consilience In my own experience women do indeed not approach. But they can give you indicators they want to be approached by you. That's how the game is played
  5. I have been in management positions significantly bigger than that. My advice is to always lead by example. Make sure you act with integrity, never take your subordinates for granted. And make sure you are competent in what you are doing, be someone the people can look upto. Don't be a dick, set boundaries and tell them what you expect from them. If they don't bring what is expected of them, talk to them seriously and ask them why, don't scoff at them. Listen to what the people have to say. Even if their problems and complaints seem petty, take them seriously. I have experienced that the way a manager experiences the workflow can be way different from a "subordinate" due to the differences in responsibility.
  6. I’m an ENFP, and I think Leo is one as well. (Don’t type yourself and others purely on the stereotypical descriptions of the type floating around, but learn to recognize the cognitive functions in play)
  7. Self help books are mental masturbation. Only read if you really can’t help yourself.
  8. First it was copper that was poisoning us all, then it was fluoride, now it’s mercury. Next conspiracy please
  9. Fun is the absence of boredom
  10. No such thing as luck. You get out what you put in. And the putting in part is the most fun(not sexually speaking you perverts). The problem is that most people focus on what they lack. Not on what they have and can expand upon. Everyone has to learn this lesson eventually that this is a problematic mindset.
  11. Been there, done that. Need to show some balls and do some new stuff in the real world. Not only in your head, lol.
  12. @willl Why can't you be grateful for eating plant-based foods though? Why do animals have to suffer and die for your consumption?
  13. To even entertain the thought that someone, outside of yourself, "messed you up" is a total victim mentality. Even is there a kernel of truth in someone messing you up, it is your own mentality that is keeping it going. In fact, the only reason people can mess you up is if you let yourself be messed up AND keep it that way. Life has a funny way of exposing your weaknesses, learn from them and move on.
  14. Of course, it's totally possible they have some kind of low awareness. But as far as I know, plants don't have a brain, the ability to process emotion and pain, a nervous system and a sentient awareness. Don't get me wrong, animals definitely have a lower awareness than humans, but quite a sophisticated awareness nonetheless compared to plants. The hypocracy of humans is exemplified by research that has shown a higher intellect in pigs than in dogs. Yet look at how we, as a society, treat dogs vs pigs.
  15. @Shunyata No i'm a heterosexual man. I'm not saying the physical appearance of a woman is irrelevant. Or that it can't be titillating. It's just overrated, well in my opinion at least.
  16. You don't develop love. Love is the default. You have to ask yourself what is preventing you from experiencing your own love. You didn't hate how you looked as a little kid, you picked up your hate somewhere along the way. And it really isn't about how you look, it's deeper.
  17. It's ego/fear. Reduce your ego/fear and it will become clear to you that the universe is a place of abundance and you will never have to fear that you can't get enough of what you need. That is the root problem, people think the universe is a place of lack - not abundance. The result is that most people are a sophisticated version of Gollum in Lord of the Rings and they always feel a strong need to protect "my precious".
  18. One of the things that make us human is our ability for compassion and empathy. If you asked people to kill a cow or a pig themselves with a knife, they could not do it. Maybe if their life depended on it. Also, unless you are a psychopath, if you see an animal being tortured it will affect you in some way emotionally. It's not all "hierarchy" or the circle of life or whatever. Would you be okay if the rich people decided it is okay to eat and kill poor people just because they are higher in the social hierarchy? Of course not. You can't compare the behavior of wild animals with sophisticated human beings. Humanity has evolved spiritually and emotionally and is perfectly capable of employing higher ethics. And in a lot of cases we are. Eating meat also has nothing to do with survival. It's a total luxury and you can survive just as well without eating meat.
  19. It baffles me how obsessed most men are with supermodels - or superhot chicks in general. Most supermodels are total self-absorbed airheads, their looks are the only thing going for them. They are a total bore to converse with, It's so damn shallow. Sure it's fun to flirt around a bit.. but apart from that... I know this is a "3/10 would not bang, elbows too pointy, i've had better'-post. But still
  20. I personally experienced that when I am depressed, feel stuck in life, bored, unchallenged, unpassionate etc. The pull toward addictive behavior increases. I feel the lure of the devil pulling me: drugs, unhealthy sexual behavior, alcohol, shitty food, laziness, apathy. When I'm doing things in life that excite me, that I feel passionate about, things that recquire my full attention and love. Then all these addictive tendencies drop away. It just is not interesting enough to engage in as the things I am passionate about are simply way more fulfilling. And when I don't have that passion in my life, just forcing myself to cut out the addicitive stuff simply does not work. The heart will always look for love to some capacity, and it will resort to cheap love if it has to(drugs). So instead of looking to destroy the addicitive behavior, I think it's more productive to fill that hole in your heart with new 'wholesome' behavior that will make you way more happy in the long run To me; addictive behavior is just a cheap substitute to doing things you are passionate about.
  21. How can you be dead if you were never alive to begin with?
  22. @Javfly33 That's a fair comment. The problem with most posters here is that they stuck in that Pua paradigm and create a philosophy around it. It's fair to say that approaching a women, socializing, being assertive is not much of an issue for me. And I can see that pickup can teach men social skills and to be more comfortable around women in social situations. It's probably also got to do with that most posters in here are probably fairly young guys with not much relationship experience.
  23. I think we can pretty much answer the question with that quote and lock the topic. That's the true answer right there
  24. @Globalcollective Yes but you have to open to the possibilities that a lot of biological "needs" can be transcended to a certain degree with higher consciousness, far past what the collective consciousness thinks is possible. For example, Leo himself has said that he has met - or at least read about - spiritual masters that structurally function just fine on a daily small bowl of rice, a couple glasses of water and 3 hours of sleep. Also Zen masters that can have surgical operations on their body without narcotics, without flinching.
  25. @aurum Well according to Leo dating a 10/10 "supermodel" is the holy grail of dating. I know for a fact a lot of these supermodel women have worked as high-class escort girls working their way up the ladder. Of course this is kept under wraps as much as possible. And the supermodel would never admit this until the proof comes out. So what do I make of this? Ignorance is bliss?
