You are now venturing into a different topic, the topic of decency and social grace. If a man calls you a prude for not putting out. Yeah, that’s assholish and indecent. Obviously a man without many manners. But he still has the right to hold that opinion. Maybe he likes “easy” woman. In that case, in his mind every woman who is not easy comes off as prudish. He has the right to want easy women, just as you have the right to only have sex with men you feel an emotional connection with. Again, you are not responsible for the problem or preference of every single being in the universe. People are different

If you don't feel comfortable with a certain person you are never obligated to have sex with that person. You decide what you do with your body and who you share it with. If a guy is just horny and wants to get laid that is his problem, no one owed him anything. Not you, not any woman. Just like when a beggar on the streets asks you for money you are not obligated to give that person money. It is your money, you earned it, and you decide what to do with it. You are not a bad person if you don't give a beggar money. He is not your responsibility.

You have to look deep within and realize that demonizing people is not helping you to get where you want, but it actually perpetuates the problem. If you live in the ghettos of New York there is a lot of violence, especially done by black gang members. So if you live there as a white person it's very easy to draw the conclusion that their evil and devilry comes from their blackness. But of course that is flawed thinking. And by demonizing people with black skin you create an even bigger divide between yourself and them. So by judging a person by something they can not change, you create a huge wall which can not be broken down. In stead, you have to realize that toxic or bad behavior is never inherrent to a certain personality type or people with a certain skin color. But it's more about how they were raised, their environment, their beliefs etc. And all these things can be overcome.

I have experienced multiple times that a person asks me if I am married or have a girlfriend. When I answer with a no, they ask me 'uhm why not?', in the tone of voice where they are actually asking 'so what's wrong with you dude?'.

I have been heavily involved in the MBTI community before and there is definitely a very toxic element to it. People wage wars about against other types, like a tribal warfare. They demonize certain types or functions. Think they are superior. There are people that perceive themselves as thinker types and use that as a justification to not be empathetic. Intuitive types that think that all sensing types are just dumb and shallow. I even read a blogpost by an intuitive supremacist who says that intuitive people are inherently more valuable as human beings. There are also Youtubers that reenforce this ideology of personality type supremacy.

I’m not saying people should stop, but you have a point

Possibly. But those lab grown meats are grown with plant based nutrients as a “food source”. So technically it’s not plant based, but plant based nutrients are integral to the process of the growing.

I think the emotion of shame comes up when we are in a situation where the person we think we are - or we think we should be - does not align with the reality of the situation. So an easy example; you think you are highly competent at your job, but you make a stupid mistake. Shame can come up because you are attached to your self image as a highly competent person. The mistake you made does not align with that image, so within that dissonance you experience an emotion like shame. Of course the solution to minimize feelings of shame is not to become neurotic about making mistakes to keep up that image of high competency. Even though that is what probably most people do in some way. It’s a natural coping mechanism, but it’s not really sustainable.

Very nice, maybe this should be a sticky or something

No ones demonizing meat eaters here. Just saying, objectively, that it’s highly likely we, as a society, won’t be eating meat for that much longer. Like i said, when our food technology had the ability to produce plant based meats that are almost indistinguishable from animal meats, and at a lower price. The only thing holding back for adopting that technology is dogma and tradition.

You have to approach this in a business minded way. She is getting paid to do her job, not to just chitchat. And her job is to make you progress and increase your well being. If she is not doing that she's probably not the right fit for you and you should move on to another therapist.

That's the joke, you aren't the characters in the world. Even though most of the characters in the world think they are at that character. In reality, or dream(however you want to call it) there aren't any characters. There are forms that may appear to be characters, but there is no character within the character. There's no little small ego controlling the actions of the person or being. And you are also not all the characters, because there aren't any characters to begin with. And when you realize that deeply, your karma won't really matter much anymore because you will most likely don't see the point in doing harm to other characters to enrich your own. Because there aren't any characters, just the love of being. -
If you have to do a test to find realize what stage you are.. well, then you are probably in one of the lower stages. Let's be honest lol. And I think the creator of that test didn't really understand Spiral Dynamics. Probably just tried to understand the gist of it and tried to apply it for his website.

As long as you are deeply identified with the ego inside a human body you won't be able to fully realize and embody uncondional love. Because you will always be occupied with defending yourself from external threats. You will always villify and judge to defend yourself. It is impossible to be identified with ego and be selfless at the same time. The reason there is suffering is because it is one of the ways how unconditional love disguises itself. Suffering actually comes for, a deep love for the Self. But you are confused who that true Self is. You think the true Self is threatened by your circumstances because you think your true Self is the ego. If you realized your real true Self you would not suffer so much, and you will learn what real love actually is. Because what is real can not be threatened or destroyed. And when you recognize that place, and realize you are it, then you are able to truly love because it is not bound by circumstance. -
You are the one dreaming actually if you think we will be eating meat for long. Our food technology is increasing. Our morality regarding animal suffering is increasing. Our nutritional knowledge regarding health is increasing. And the knowledge of the environmental impact of factory farming is increasing as well. The only thing that will prolong this progress is dogma and tradition. Soon enough we will be able to produce plant based meats that are just as expensive, or possible even cheaper, than animal meats. And the plant based meats will be very hard to distinguish from animal meats.

There is no God that is creating anything, or trolling anyone. Only within a dualistic delusion. There is just you pretending you aren't you. -
The future is no meat in our diets at all. Neither factory farming nor organic farming is a sustainable practice if we want to keep our earth healthy.

The thing where I have experienced the most emotional growth is having a leadership position in a highly competitive work environment. Especially the politics and interpersonal drama i had to deal with. Oh boy…. Lot of stress, but also growth

This really strikes the heart of spirituality. Dealing with suffering, uncertainty and death. And the way we deal and cope with it. We can’t really bargain our negotiate our way out of it, because eventually we are all going to have to face it. We can try to run from old age by trying to cover it up with make up, cosmetic procedures. Get a hot young girlfriend or boyfriend. Buy a fast Ferrari and hip flashy clothes. But we are only fooling ourselves that way. The only way to deal with it is to realize that change, any change, is fundamentally neither good nor evil. But we project evil or nobility onto things that happen and change in our environment. The evil is within us, and it projects that evil outwardly as a self defense mechanism. But it’s a flawed defense mechanism because it can never beat nature. The ego can never last forever. The ego is an ice cube that lives in the desert, maybe it can hide for a while under a palm tree. But its fate is inevitable. Become aware of your projections on reality, and see how your projections are not actual reality. And also don’t be sheep; if someone else is freaking out about a certain situation, you are not obliged to go along with that. That person is caught up in their own projection

It's not that bad. He's teaching a stage Orange paradigm to, probably, a stage Blue audience. And a big part of the American population is still stuck in the stage Blue paradigm. -
Apart from how cringe this is. I really question the morality of using children in political campaigns. I think it's kinda messed up. Not that Trump or his supporter care though, lol.

I think we, as a society, look at morality wrong. I think we are still stuck in looking at morality through a heavy theistic, religious way. That morality is written on a stone tablet commanded by God himself. Those contain the commandments and they should be followed forever and ever until the end of time. But i see morality as sobering that is constantly evolving, every day. Just like human knowledge is constantly expanding through science and experience, so is morality. So if we are not sure if sobering is right or wrong say this time it’s like beating ourselves up because we don’t know how dark energy works for instance. What we need to do as humans, is to do the best we can with the knowledge and morality we have right now. And hope to improve in the future. And be open to the fact that both our knowledge and morality can be proven wrong in the future. Or better said; outdated.

We only get unhealthy cravings when we are not peace with the current moment. Something is gnawing at us, whether consciously or unconsciously. Our mind does not like that feeling because it’s uncomfortable, maybe even stressful. So the mind will try to find away to escape that uncomfortable feeling. It creates an artificial craving. It’s really a survival mechanism because the mind interpret this discomfort as a threat. And through satisfying a craving it can temporarily escape that threat.

I definitely think philosophy should be mandatory in the high school curriculum. The high school i went to didn’t even have philosophy as an optional course. It’s so important to teach kids how to think critically. To question things. To think about their assumptions of right and wrong. Epistemology. The philosophy of science.
