  1. @SamC Maybe, you are becoming aware of subtle sounds. I have ringing in my ears. It is a symptom called tinnitus. Maybe, it is tinnitus, maybe not.
  2. I was talking about the conceptual self.
  3. The meaning of space will change when you change the meaning of yourself. Look around and find yourself. Can you find it? Do it until you realize that there wasn't a "you" in the first place. And the distance of a thing will become zero and there will be no space left because things are defined by you and relative to you.
  4. @meow_meow You're not alone. I do it too. Notice the change when you become aware when you think and imagine the stuff you're always unconscious about. If you were conscious that you are imagining the stuff that you are imagining in this case would you do it the next time? Having an image in your mind isn't the problem. In this case, it misrepresents what is actual. Next time when you start to think and imagine become aware of it. Or just let it go and see what happens. Or when you are doing it just don't respond and just observe it.
  5. Every video is uploaded on the right time for me. It's kind of magical.
  6. I'm not enlightened, but I smell the pointlessness here. That's why self-reflection is important.
  7. With all seriousness, just by listening Leo speaking about reality and other kind of spiritual stuff I get "spiritual orgasm". There are few spiritual teachers that have that kind of impact on me. Is it selfish? I don't know. Anyways, thank you and I wish you the best.
  8. @blackchair Be careful. Being surrounded by people does not automatically make you nondogmatic.
  9. @blackchair Yes, but without being dogmatic about it.
  10. It's like that Sam is deliberately trying to misunderstand Rupert.
  11. @Kalki Avatar Notice, right now, that you are thinking. You are making so many assumptions unconsciously (they are neither true nor false and are not important right now). Imagine that your holding really hot coal, metal, etc. What would you do at that moment? Of course, you would drop it, but that doesn't mean the "heat" will go away immediately (Be patient, I know it is hard). So, drop all of your assumptions like that. And ask yourself What do I want. Actually, FEEL the question. It is really that simple.
  12. @Kalki Avatar If you really desire something, nothing will get your way. Try this exercise. Sit and just ask (HONESTLY) What do I want. Do not jump to conclusions without deep questioning. You feel it. And there are no maybes here. JUST DO IT.
  13. @Preety_India That's why (not) having kids have to be done consciously to really appreciate that kind of experience. Here the key difference is conscious and unconscious. But even when you do it unconsciously, you will eventually become conscious about it.
  14. @Preety_India I understand you. I'm not saying the love that we have is a belief, I'm saying that the need that we should experience that kind of love is a belief. I'm not saying you shouldn't carry that belief, I'm just saying it's simply a belief.
  15. @Gesundheit I have been living away from my family (but not entirely on my own) for about 10 years. When I compare it with the another 10 years, I see the pros and cons of it. I have become an "independent" thinker, I'm doing practical part that is needed for me and just only being away from them has made me grateful for what they had done for me. Even I love them, I can't overlook the beliefs that they have planted in me. Every time, when I question them, they get angry at me, but eventually they understand it or they don't care about it. Where I'm living, having family is the most important thing to do and questioning it will be one of the hardest things to do. So, what I'm saying is, yes giving birth is beautiful experience, but should you have that experience is a belief. And why do anyone would want that, because he/she is surrounded by the people that hold that belief. And questioning that belief can be a "sinful" thing to do to them. This belief has kind of served its purpose, but it is time to be conscious. I'm lucky even to be able to question my beliefs, but that doesn't mean I should not do it nor should anyone. I think it will take years that people will consciously want to have a baby.
  16. @Leo Gura That's the thing I don't understand when you say you can imagine and create anything you want. Does it mean I imagine what's happening now and can imagine anything (live the life I want) or is that you can automatically change how you perceive anything? I'm just curious.
  17. We can simplify it like this. A thought is a thought. That sentence is a thought again. You will get stuck when you think about something which references to the thing which you are thinking about. So, you can't solve this by thinking. You have to realize that it is a thought. Being silent or aware of your thoughts can help to get past that point. Hold this thought in your mind. This is a thought. Realize that that is a thought too.
  18. I love conceptualising, which is a trap for this work. After I watched a bunch of Leo's videos, I started creating Leoism (this was few months ago), beacause of his huge influence in my life. It was so hard to break out of it. So beware of your constructed beliefs.
