  1. I have been searching for resources about it, but I want your advice on how to be careful about the scams. Can you really learn it by using educational platforms like SkillShare, Udemy, etc., or by joining a membership or purchasing immediately from the teachers, or do I have to go to a physical art school? I found so many resources that I feel that I can't be fooled that much, but who knows? I have been observing how they advertise or describe their work.
  2. There are other ways, besides getting a green card, to move to developed countries. E.g., applying for a job and moving there.
  3. Hi. It's nice to know you. Thanks. Recently, the situation has gotten more brutal. I'm not that involved in politics (mostly ignorant of it) or any kind of movement, as it messes people's minds up too fast. Too much groupthink and too little self-reflection.
  4. @Buck Edwards Xenophobia, homophobia, and other good stuff. 😄
  5. I haven't watched any documentaries, so I'm going to start from my country.
  6. @Yimpa I think that it's an embodiment issue. They give you an immediate value that you get stuck repeating in the old ways. I think that people, if they want it or need it, should integrate it into their lives in a more safe, direct, educational, open-minded, honest, and creative way.
  7. @Princess Arabia It's my first cat. I love cats, maybe because I'm born in the year of the cat in the Vietnamese zodiac.
  8. @Julian gabriel The less he is active, the more his content will be high-quality and revolutionary at this point, I think. Other spiritual or religious people have repeated the same stuff over the years, whether they know what they're talking about or not, but he just doesn't care if he's perceived as right or wrong, good or bad, spiritual or not-spiritual, and comes to some conclusion by himself. Now that's a teaching by itself, you can learn.
  9. It's the side effect or even the purpose of every kind of group. People get attached to the idea of the value that the group promises to provide, but either it fails, the users fail, or both at the same time. And this is just a surface-level problem.
  10. When you replace other ways of being. I think addiction is inevitable; we just have to know when we're doing it too much. It's difficult to differentiate the addiction from the actual thing, so don't judge hastily.
  11. You are right. Some have unrealistic expectations of this forum and the users, and I think it can't be better than this.
  12. They are like those YouTube channels that show or give you a license key for software, often they don't work, and they don't know or mention that forums exist that provide legit cracks and keygens for software. Idk, maybe I'm wrong.
  13. @PurpleTree I love how casually you write with your dead serious face and say, "... doing the shiftings". 😄
  14. Yes. That's true, at least from my experience. Those interpretations are so sticky and sneaky. Imo, you become the bully and the victim.
  15. I'm glad that I didn't radicalize myself by using this forum. I was addicted to it and could have completely destroyed my life. I wasted my time reading through every topic I could and thinking that I could solve my problems by just reading and reach some ultimate understanding of reality. How stupid of me! I still learn from here, but without bullshitting myself too much. Also, @Thought Art thanks for sharing that video. Saw a short clip of his videos, very interesting. Gonna watch them.
  16. You can make them think that they are in control of you and exploit them by playing mind games with them. Don't underestimate yourself. People love to think that they can't be fooled. There's always a way to fool them. You just have to find the blind spot.
  17. @at_anchor Do you know or can you find someone who can get you out of there to somewhere safe? Are all your family members by their side? I'm so sorry for the situation that you're in. I wish you all the best.
  18. @at_anchor One of the options is to outsmart them. E.g., use their manipulations against them.
  19. Get good at something, find a job that pays well, and buy whatever you want. Also, find your passion(s), which will make you even more confident and attractive.
  20. @Basman So from YouTube, you could only learn the fundamentals? If so, do they teach the basic skills clearly? (I can do my own search on YouTube, but I wanted to ask you first)
  21. @itsadistraction What's more funny is that most people don't need those men to brainwash them in order to go to war. People have ideas to defend. But I'm sometimes glad that those people exist. They balance each other out. We are like the Earth, not too close nor far from the sun. You have to be careful how you survive with them. You have to be clever in living with them without being involved with them and have a plan for how to survive without them.
  22. People here, when taking psychedelics, experience wild things that aren't immediately recognized as some of the facets you mentioned. Don't they count as mystical? Am I a wrong?
  23. I think that would be a global war, and we would all be forced to go.
