  1. Instagram and YouTube, in my opinion, are the winners in the popular app sphere, although it depends on which country you are in. On those apps, I've discovered that generally, "western" content is more interesting and valuable to me.
  2. I used it years ago, and it mostly showed me traditional male types being misogynistic, preachers or brainwashed people preaching about religion, how "westerners" are "sick" and "deluded" or "conspiracy theories", and a little bit of educational content or entertainment that got criticized for being out of religious or traditional norms. Sometimes also the things you mentioned. I also created videos for it long ago. Mostly nature and simple computer science videos (every night I would write a script for the next day for it). But eventually, it got boring.
  3. Maybe for some. But the thing is that their strict, unquestioning lifestyle filters that connection way too much, which I think makes them more confident about their previous beliefs.
  4. That shows that the brainwashing is working, imo.
  5. @Schizophonia I meant that they could play status games, which aren't about clothing.
  6. He is disgusted with them because he sees them as the root of society's "failures" or "problems", especially his. He has rotten his mind to the core.
  7. @Schizophonia The photo shows that rich people's status game is different.
  8. @Princess Arabia Recognize your authority! Don't believe what people say here, including me! And maybe take a long break.
  9. @soos_mite_ah Well, I have lived in two countries and traveled to one. But I have been exposed to 4 cultures for a long time, plus 1 that was an unplanned trip.
  10. @Leo Gura Oh, my. The fans of Mearsheimer really misrepresent him. I have seen people using his name to fuel their agenda. (I'm watching him for the first time)
  11. @MellowEd 🤦 It's not that those countries love each other. Not everything is about Israel.
  12. @MellowEd you're not so different from them, to be honest. Drama addicts attract drama addicts. 😁 I have to say, I love watching drama; that's my addiction.
  13. Why does everyone think that they can change or show the "truth" to @MellowEd ?
  14. @MellowEd Well, the Lord has clearly cursed me to not have any. 😁
  15. What do you mean by traveling? To go and live there for years and be exposed to different cultures?
  16. @Merkabah Star People tend to focus on the injustices they have experienced or know and misunderstand the current situation. Israel is the powerful one here; it believes otherwise, which is problematic. People confuse being compassionate towards people who have seen people die or were wounded as a way to determine who is on the wrong side. I mean, it's easy to be against people who harm the ones we identify with.
  17. Imo, it's a bit like physical attraction. But I think they don't know that, and they think that everyone feels that way. I can tell this by not having a national identity. Most of them won't admit that it's just a feeling added to the stories that they have filled their minds with. But few can, which is still difficult.
  18. @Something Funny I can certainly say that if you have a national identity, then you'll feel that you need to defend your country.
  19. Bias is like a double-edged sword
  20. @Vrubel Do you think people here don't care about the Israelis pov? Also, do you think you care about Palestinians pov? People here, just like you, believe that they see through. They think you're so biased that you can't see beyond your perspective. Do you think that only you, as an Israeli, can understand this situation correctly and/or without being biased? (I'll stop, as I don't want you to think I'm targeting you, and you don't have to answer if you don't want to)
  21. Got it. But you do have to expect that others will feel the same way about you. The proof is that people here are shocked by your perspectives, just like you, which doesn't mean they are correct or incorrect.
