Please don't ever gaslight yourself with spiritual stuff in order to feel validated for not being able to solve your situation.

@petar8p There are people who don't feel like contributing to their society because their values are too different from those of their peers, and they are likely here as guests or members. This is some real stuff. Clearly, the value gap isn't huge in your case.

If you were cut off from your environment and were put to live with Muslims, how would you survive? Your way of life is literally threatening to them. For example, one way could be, but I am still not sure, to minimize your engagement with them and have minimal influence on them.

@creativepursuit Great question!

I was on a self-help website that recommended Leo's "How to Meditate: The No Bullshit Guide to Meditation" video because I was interested in meditation, visualization, and hypnosis.

She could have shared her story without the intention of helping, be it genuine or not. I didn't mean to put her down. -

@Sugarcoat I think she's flexing. -

Nemra replied to Psychedelic seeker's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Well, you said people are making statements here and there. I'm saying that you may need to "generate the experience" to understand why such statements are made. They could be right or wrong. -
Nemra replied to Psychedelic seeker's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
You have to accept that you can be wrong about anything in order to even discover what direct experience is. When you discover something, you'll likely make statements about it. Still, you can be right or wrong. -

Only focusing on others getting right or wrong is a waste of time because you already have your assumptions to uncover. By direct experience, I mean the things that you are aware of right now at this moment. Why do you think people here are confusing and not you? Although they can also confuse. I don't know what to tell you. -
Nemra replied to Psychedelic seeker's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It's not if it's based on direct experience. What I meant was that you think I'm having a separate conscious experience outside of your experience. -

Can you be conscious of others' experiences? -
Nemra replied to Psychedelic seeker's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
You answered my question the way you thought it was intended. Think about it. -

@Ishanga Think about why you can't go deep. -
@integral Take a long break from them, or cut them off one by one. Or fight fire with fire if you know what I mean. ๐ I can't stand the drama, codependency, and groupthink.

What is the Israeli government doing right now? And war doesn't end with red. What do you think nationalists do?
-
I don't think saying that they are less developed means that they need to be killed. E.g., Children are less developed than their parents. Should they be beaten for being children? In this case, I think the Israeli government is acting like an abusive parent who beats up his/her child for being a child and gaslights others, saying that the child is behaving badly and it's his/her responsibility to teach them a lesson.
-
So, let them die there? I'm not saying that Palestinian lives matter more than those of Israelis, and vice versa. But they are in a much worse situation, and it's getting even worse. I want to understand why you think they are less entitled than Israelis.
-
Why aren't they comfortable in their countries? E.g., If Palestinians wanted to migrate to Europe or somewhere comfortable, would you support it?
-
@Princess Arabia Too much deliciousness in one post. ๐คค
-
So, why don't they go to those countries?
-
Before saying that, understand why people migrate.
