  1. What makes the word God different than other words?
  2. @Hojo, let's say you haven't learned the word God. How would you describe it?
  3. If I'm God and God is everything, then what are they?
  4. Just to be clear, I don't know the God that God realized people are talking about. I don't care about people who believe what God is and other people who say that those who are God realized and those who believe are talking about the same thing. I understand that there is a difference in how people approach knowing things.
  5. @Staples, I understand you know God and imply they are both God. If everything is God, then why even use the word God? Aren't other words enough? However, I see that God realized people wouldn't say that other words are enough.
  6. I'm just interested, even if I can't realize right now, why and when do you call yourself God or say it exists? If I didn't know the word God, could I even realize it? It's interesting why and how people can believe in it without knowing it.
  7. @Staples, then, why is there a conflict between people who say God exists with ones who say it doesn't exist, if we think they're not talking about beliefs?
  8. If that were enough, then everyone would have realized God. However, we see that people are full of beliefs that make them think they know God. First, why the word God is used? You use it to convey something that is different than other spiritual things. If not, then why do you use the word God? Second, what kind of connections are enough and needed for someone to realize God? If God exists, then there should be some kind of connection between me and God. Remember, I don't know what God is when I use it.
  9. This is amazing! I was unaware that Mussolini was a socialist before becoming a fascist. The fact that Hitler treated the public like he treated women says much. Mixing your personal life with politics can easily turn ugly and delusional. There are similarities between now and then. The far left and right aren't so different in their thinking, I guess. Although fascists focused more on spreading the feeling that unjustice happened to the people than addressing people's actual situation.
  10. @manuel bon, why unfortunately? Do you think communism would have been good for all?
  11. @manuel bon, he mentioned the Spanish one in the video that I shared in the following thread: How World War 2 Began - Ryan Chapman
  12. And they say that philosophy is just "abstract" nonsense. His YouTube channel is of high quality.
  13. Why can't we close our own threads? Does this forum have that feature that could be enabled later?
  14. Well, maybe you think your questions are answered or there's nothing to say and you don't want to ask the moderators always to close it. And maybe you want it to be available for different reasons. I agree that they should have the control. I meant that I could have more control over my thread, not others', even though the mods will always have the final say. But it is what it is. This is your forum. It's not that we don't have some control.
  15. That's such an easy thing to say. You can't escape from surviving unless you kill yourself physically. Why not say you care about the truth, but you also care about survival?
  16. Maybe Trump should not be tough on crime after all.
  17. @Keryo Koffa and @Davino, please give me that DMT! 🙏
  18. Most of the things are like that, imo. I think what's needed is to make the distinction that by reading, we're mostly going to be aware of what ways people have thought. You are also offering your philosophy to open our minds to new kinds of thinking. Literally, reading or listening to someone's philosophy could give you "tools" to discover new things. But you're still the one out there who isn't dogmatic, doesn't artificially limit himself, and engages in deep stuff.
  19. @Sandhu, I didn't say to BS yourself. For example, I mostly don't want to be with someone from my culture because of different reasons. But I don't blame them for not being the way I want. However, you can think steps ahead.
  20. Americans could learn to be better racists from other countries. Lol.
  21. He was first mentioned in this forum a long time ago. I think it can often be helpful to know others' beliefs, perspectives, or opinions, whether they are right or wrong, but especially when they are wrong. Ironically, they can help you recognize the beliefs and unrealistic expectations you may hold about an influential person or thing for you, in this case, Leo and Actualized.org.
  22. @Sandhu, focus a bit on the positive side. You know your culture's dogmas and are less dependent on others. You easily see what you value, which is different than most of your people. You are careful who you enter into your life. You are open-minded. You know that you are responsible for yourself. etc. I often look around and see people living in their static old bubble that they defend. It's liberating that I can think in ways that virtually no one in my country can, and that they aren't aware of or informed about things like I am. The little those people know about me, the better I feel.
  23. Ground News is awesome! It's a total lifesaver. I think it's one of the best news aggregator apps, if not the greatest.
