It happened to me while walking down a park or doing sports at the gym. However psychedelics really crank up the possibility to have this realization. By the way, if you don't like be try psychedelics I can really recommend "holotropic breath work" as teached by Leo. This practice revealed to me the same intensity of oneness as heroic doses of LSD would. Not as long though. But still 40 minutes of breathing gave me more spiritual insight and growth than 2 years of daily meditation.

Where exactly is the line between "ideas about other people" and "raw existance" of them? The first is more flimsy and changing, while the latter is solid and "seems" not controllable. However, as you might notice, both qualities of experience are both just experience. So in reality there is absolutely no fundamental difference between "idea mind" and "matter mind" - its both mind. Just different qualities. So if you can create ideas, you can create raw existence. The ego mind cannot see this, because it's not conscious enough how it creates raw existence. But what if you could directly see how you create physical "thingness" right in front of you (?).

In two days I will attempt the classical 10-day Vipassana retreat teached by Goenka. It seems to be one of the most hardcore meditation retreats offered publicly. I'm sure some advanced meditators here have already done it. Any specific non-obvious advice?

Im not here to assure, that my morals are correct. As if morals as something objective to be found out there. For example: I want to know how Leo's take "that every humans behavior is sourced to maximize love" fits in this whole scenario. How is Putins behavior explained within "maximum love" and "spiral dynamics"?

@hello1234 I don't want Leo to be a news journalist. Thats not what he is valued for. Rather I'm interested how he explains the decisions of Putin in the bigger picture. Maybe this whole situation is a massive ego backlash from Russia in some sense. For example, in one post he made the example how the US would behave, if Russia would arrange an alliance with Mexico. With the possibility to have atomic weapons right at the US border. Do you think Biden would be any less cruel than Putin? The point is, i'm not interested in the content as who is false and who is right. I'm interested in the structure of how such political crises develop.

It's like one of those brilliant adventure game, where you can interact and talk to others, and get interesting dialogues through that. You are a lucky boy to be part of this adventure game here, with infinite others and interactions to experience. Every computer game is pure solipsism, but you never complain about existential fear. Feel the fear. Without it, this game would be far too easy.

Why do you think that? If God went all those lengths to imagine others "physically", you can be damn sure he imagines a vivid "inner" life to them as well. Try it out. Go to some "empty suit" and ask him/her, how life is going. What the struggles and successes are. You will be surprised how full this dream is for you.

So as I've figured out my life purpose about combining physical development with mental development via strength training and mindfulness, I wondered if some of you guys already know such a place. Here in Germany there are literally zero places where you can have both. Strength training with weights and racks, while simultaneously offering Yoga classes and space for meditation periods. So this is an open request specifically targeted to any of you, who live in the US. It's an open secret that most new concepts get developed and tested out in the USA, before they spread around the globe. Please let me know if you have encountered such a holistic approach to fitness and mindfulness.

Yes im currently working on building a place like that. Would be awesome to see such a place in action somewhere. In my worldview the logical step of a classical stage orange "gym bro" is to move on to a more holistic "mind body connection conscious" athlete. This happens naturally if "gym bros" get hurt and therefor feel their body the first time under pain. This kicks starts this mind body connection for most. And yes its true that most yoga classes are filled with mid 40 women and most gyms are filled with mid 20-30 guys. However, I see the possibility that both groups will recognize the potential of the other developmental activity if consciousness rises collectively.

In some famous book was it written (forgot the name of the author though): "Kingdom of heaven is at hand" Which, translated into Eckhart Tolle words means: The inner feeling of joyfulness, liveliness, creativity and bliss is all contained in the here and now, if you accept it completely. Scary thing to do that. It might involve killing your ego, which feasts itself from ideas about how this here and now "should" be.

A strong ego is total identification with illusion. Good examples are sport fans. Notice how identified hardcore sport fans can be. Anger, frustration, envy, as well as joy, ecstasy and the feeling of belonging to something are all product of an imaginary "club". Everything about a sports club is an illusion. A sports club is not a thing out there to be found. It's just the believe that colors, songs, names, values make a real thing. Simple, yet effective trick.

I want to challenge your chain of metaphysical connections of God, which gets usually laid out like this. Presented as a dialogue between me and Leo. Leo: You are God. Heres why -> There is nothing but your awareness Me: true, I can see that right now Leo: Everything, that has ever happened, including people talking about their own „happening bubbles“ happens inside your awareness Me: yes, it is verifiable right now Leo: Therefor, your own bubble of sensation is the only thing, that exist. Also known as the Universe. -> And the ultimate proof of you being God and One, is that you are infinite -> Every other God or meta God has to be insight of infinity Me: Yes, that’s technically true, but since I cannot see infinity right now, its just an assumption at this moment So this whole chain depends on the fact that your consciousness is currently finite, but actually is infinite. And than you recommend „take psychedelics to check this fact by yourself, no need to believe me“ And that’s the point, where I want to step in: What if your experience of infinity, just appears to be infinite? Maybe its enormously huge and enormously growing to appear infinite, but not actually infinity. Speaking from a materialistic paradigm: What if your neurological capacity, which is needed for everyday consciousness is so small, that a huge increase in neurological capacity via psychedelics results in the experience of „oh wow this has to be infinity“. After all, how can you be sure, that you experienced infinity. Because the possibility of „experiencing infinity, without actually having infinity“ works completely fine under the materialistic paradigm. Now, you gonna say: „Well, clearly you have not experienced infinity“. But even if I filly myself up with a pound of 5-meo-DMT, how can I be sure this experience was absolutely infinite? How can I be sure, it just didn't APPEARED to be infinite? How can you be absolutely sure Leo? Namaste, thanks for reading

Session Eight: 35 minutes. Peace. Stillness. Today I was filled with doubt about God and Oneness. Little glimpses of God structure gave these doubts a little slap with the back hand No deep and clear memory flashbacks this time. But had many interesting ideas and plans what to do with this wonderful moment. Ideas were mostly about food like to prepare and stuff I want to do in the gym. Sounds petty, but thats what makes enjoyable for me right now. Happiness. At the end I "dropped" under my perception of reality and felt this surrounding nothingness in and around me. Reality was just this thing in front of me, which is contained in nothingness.

This resonates well with my understanding of God realization. I've experienced it four times, with LSD (with up to 1000μg). There was absolutely no speck of a doubt, that I'am God. Every "other" merged into this singular ungraspable point of stillness and Love. Unbelievable, shocking, ecstatic. In face of such mind devastating realization I was quick to say that had to be infinity. But now I'am sitting here, contemplating how I can be so sure about this conclusion. And I don't find anything satisfying in being skeptic. I just want to be absolutely sure about how I see reality.

@Judy2 For me its absolutely clear, that everything is just consciousness. That the ego is an illusion, that this experience right now is the only thing that has and will ever happen. However, all these insights can be explained with finite consciousness. Don't forget, finitude can be arbitrary large. Everything that has every happened to you can be inside of a finite frame. Yet, Leo claims absolute, undoubtable INFINITY INFINITY INFINITY (TIMES INFINITY) !!! is the necessary for solipsism and Oneness to work. I don't see how "Not knowing" will help me with that questions.

@Judy2 I don't see how this relates to finite consciousness or infinite consciousness. Realizing No-Self/Nothingness can still perfectly be explained in the materialistic paradigm. Infinity cant, hence the post above.

Exactly. Still, the question remains, is Oneness/Infinity actually to be found in reality or is it just a ungraspable huge, yet finite thing with the label "infinity" on it. Hopefully, you see my problem now.
