  1. The racists always blame everything on immigration. And they are always against alliances and cooperation. Their desire is to be alone and isolated.
  2. I think there should be some authoritarianism. And luckily there is some degree of authoritarianism. For example, heroin is illegal, etc. It's for our own good, to protect idiots from their idiocy. So the question is where to draw the line. Maybe it shouldn't be possible for the idiots to make your country leave EU. And maybe your country should be forced into Nato, and maybe it sholdn't be possible to vote for sociopath dictators like Trump, etc. Children need boundaries.
  3. This is one of the disadvantages of democracy. Stupid people can make stupid decisions, like leaving the EU, voting for Trump, not joining Nato, etc.
  4. It's not true that you lose your freedom if you are in EU. You are stronger and safer together than alone. EU gives you safety, for example article 42.7 (mutual defence clause, etc. But Nato is better for that, but still.
  5. Brexit will make UK poorer. EU makes the world a better place in all aspects. Without UK EU will be a bit weaker, so the world will become a little bit worse. UK wont be able to influence EU anymore.
  6. According to the karma model, the karma stuff will hit them in the next lives.
  7. Under "History": "The paper was founded in 1994 by Republican power broker and New York businessman Jerry Finkelstein and Martin Tolchin, a former correspondent for The New York Times." "Eventually Solomon was rebranded as an opinion contributor. In March 2018 he published an interview and series of columns that promoted a conspiracy theory regarding Ukraine advanced by associates of Rudy Giuliani." "In January 2019, WarnerMedia's CNN reported that Finkelstein was interfering in the editorial independence of the paper in an inappropriate way to minimize criticism of American President Donald Trump. They reported that staff were "in revolt" over Finkelstein's ownership style." "The same report claimed a senior Hill employee told Politico that Jimmy Finkelstein attended the second 2016 presidential debate as a Trump campaign guest." "In June 2020, Politico reported that Jimmy Finkelstein's wife, Pamela Gross, was involved in getting Melania Trump acclimated to living and working in the White House. Gross' unpaid arrangement was not disclosed in the several dozen articles The Hill published about the First Lady while Gross was advising her from August 2017 to February 2018, nor were more than a select few Hill employees informed that their boss' wife was an East Wing adviser."
  8. The Hill seems to be pro Trump and republican. So those videos are complete garbage then. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hill_(newspaper)
  9. This is a recurrent thing which I get every now and then. I'm asleep, then I get a strong sensation that I'm flying without control like crazy (no visuals), I feel terror and I struggle, and then the weirdest thing: I see a pair of eyes. And then I wake up. I'm not sure about the correct order, maybe I see the eyes first, and then the other stuff happens. The thing about the eyes is weird because I see them visually. I can't see that way in dreams. So because of that I know that the eyes thing isn't just a normal dream, there's something more to it, it has a good chunk of reality to it. But I can't see any details about the eyes. It's quite scary when it happens. What could it be?
  10. Notice how you are only seeing it from your perspective as a parent.
  11. Omg. No I don't agree. Countless people with bad lives have became enlightened.
  12. I'll just add: according to Ramana Maharshi, the entire universe, including perceptions, are thoughts. So if thoughts cease, the universe disappears, according to him. He might be right.
  13. Well, whatever. Thanks for telling me that you love me. I don't think it's true though, but it still feels good to hear. Whatever. Yes, not everything are thoughts. Perceptions aren't. But whatever. You guys can keep thinking that thoughts are nothing and that they don't have any effect on your lives etc.
  14. 1. Getting oranges for Christmas= fact. 2. Liking or disliking oranges= emotions. 3. And then comes all the thoughts.
  15. That just confirms what I'm saying. Everything is thoughts, our lives are thoughts. No one can write a reply in this thread without thoughts. I think the emotion is leading. But there's something prior to emotion too: fact is prior to emotion. For example if you get thrown into a fire. Burning in a fire= fact. Horror= emotion. "This is awful, I don't want to die like this." etc.= thought. -------------------- Or 1. being completely alone and unlikable= fact. 2. Sadness and crying inside= emotion. 3. "This is hell, I don't want to live anymore."= thought.
  16. What you said is a thought. When that happy stuff is going on you're having happy thoughts.
  17. That's just empty words, because no one can live a life without thoughts. Your life is ruled by thoughts. Let's be real and honest.
  18. Thoughts freak me out. I don't want to think about it.. They have no substance, they come and go from nowhere. And we don't have control over them. Yet they are so powerful and rule our lives. They are like magic.. They should freak out everyone.
  19. I forgot this quote. I love this quote too: "Life is a sexually transmitted disease and the mortality rate is one hundred percent." - R.D. Laing
  20. Exactly. Or dismiss them as having a "victim mindset". That's the favorite hobby which succesful people have. They walk around everyday and all day long tell everyone who aren't as fortunate as them that they have a victim mindset.
  21. No it's not the case for 95% of humans. But let's agree to disagree.
