  1. @SaWaSaurus How is it possible that consciousness/life/sentience/qualia emerges from dead matter? It would be like making wine from only water.
  2. See it as a good sign, because popular people who are liked by many also have some haters.
  3. Caffeine is nice because who doesn't like a more alert mind. And coffee (just caffeine doesn't do it) gives me a little temporary boost of happiness. But the effect probably disappears if you drink coffee every day.
  4. That would be nice, but it's not possible. Yes.
  5. @snowyowl Hi. Yes I've had the job for a while. I wouldn't like any job anyway. There's no career which I would like. I hate everything. Or maybe it would be nice to get paid for having sex with hot girls (being a pornstar), but that's of course not possible.
  6. But I am. I want Leo to repeat that stuff to me over and over again until I get a complete mental breakdown, I want to get my entire reality destroyed.
  7. @Leo Gura I wish you would sometime go all-in with this kind of stuff: "Everything you perceive right now is a dream. Including me. You are just talking to yourself now. I am you. I'm just a part of your dream. You are just imagining that I'm a separate conscious entity. You are dreaming up me and everything else right now. There is no one else. There is only You. You are God. You are this. This is it."
  8. Venting again.. I think this is the worst day of the week for me, the day before a new workweek starts again. I seriously don't want this shit anymore. If I ever kill myself it will probably be on the day before a new workweek. Another thing which is on my mind: it's not fun to be a worthless loser who isn't liked by anyone. Everyone are better than me, everyone. It's almost weird how it's possible to be the biggest loser on the entire planet. I guess that's the only thing I'm good at.
  9. If that's seriously how you feel... then you are lacking empathy.
  10. I think people who are against dating suicidal people are shallow, selfish, cold hearted, cruel, lack empathy, etc. I wouldn't mind dating someone suicidal. I would almost prefer to date someone like that. It's much more interesting to be deep with someone. Also the dark side should be explored.
  11. I would consider that evidence yes. (With the assumption that I would be in a good state of consciousness and the experience would be vivid, detailed, and feel completely real etc. etc.)
  12. I don't think you can. But some people do it anyway..
  13. Because I don't think that consciousness (life, sentience, qualia) can emerge from dead matter. I don't believe in magic.
  14. I'm not a materialist. But why do you expect me to blindly believe in something which I have seen absolutely zero evidence of?
  15. That wasn't a answer. I take it as you don't have any evidence. I rest my case.
  16. It's not true that there's many credible people. The most credible ones are just fighter jet pilots: David Fravor and Alex Dietrich. It's possible that they are lying. And no there's not only two choices (manmade or not manmade). They could also be whatever else. Optical illusions, hallucinations, weather phenomena, etc. But this is off topic..
  17. Unidentified Flying Objects, or more accurately UAP's, Unidentified Aerial Phenomena, yes. That doesn't mean that they are aliens. It means that you don't know what they are. And there's also the possibility that they are lying about seeing anything at all.
  18. I'm not buying that at all. That's just a convenient way to keep your wishful thinking belief alive. It's like when the alien believers say: "We don't see the best videos of aliens because the government keeps those amazing videos in a secret super vault somewhere." Or "We can't see the aliens because they have amazing invisibility technology". Etc. There's many convenient things you can believe in to keep the fantasy alive. And I'm not even mentioning the stuff which conspiracy theorists believe in.. And of course the same mechanism also works in beliefs about nonduality stuff etc.
  19. That doesn't apply in this case. 1. There are millions of scientists who would love to find out that magical powers exists. 2. It would be so ridiclously easy to prove in a way which would be impossible to explain away as something ordinary. And how is that a relevant comment? What does that have to do with anything about this subject?
  20. I did get a bit headache and nausea. But sometimes I can get such stuff anyway. But yeah it was probably the vaccine which caused the headache and nausea. So I probably got the real lovely vaccine injected inside me.
  21. After my first dose of Pfizer/Biontech my arm was very sore. But after my second dose (got it yesterday) my arm isn't sore at all. Weird? I think it should have got sore again? Since the anti-vaxxers are everywhere.. There has been cases where the nurses have switched the vaccine to inoperative saline, and then injected the patients with saline instead of vaccine, against the patients knowledge. So that's a bit on my mind..
