Reality/life is nothing but a huge huge disappointment. Everything, everything in this existence is deeply disappointing and unsatisfactory. There's nothing here that is truly amazing, nothing that makes me say: "this is worth living for, this makes all the other suffering worth it." One of the biggest disappointments, if not the biggest, is other people. I have more and more realized that everyone are selfish motherfuckers. They only care about themselves. They wont hesitate to hurt you if they don't get what they want from you. They don't care about you, they only care about themselves. Being alone hurts, and other people hurt you too. Everything in this existence hurts. It's all hopeless. My life is the biggest joke ever. I strongly suspect that people make themselves believe in nonduality stuff (that you are God, that everything is Love, etc.) simply because they can't accept how much reality/life sucks. Those beliefs makes everything seem so much nicer and it makes them more happy. Yet I can't stop myself from reading about nonduality stuff, but it's a complete waste of time, but what else could I do on my spare time? Everyone say all kind of radical things but for me all those things are unverifiable, so their words are worth basically nothing.

@Leo Gura I listened to the entire thing non-stop in one sitting, I only had to pause a few times to have a quick pee. And I even had sleep deprivation. I don't understand why I can listen to you so one-pointedly and with such focus. I can't listen to anyone else like that. With all other people I lose my concentration and I stop hearing what they say and then I fall asleep. Sometimes it's creepy how close I feel myself to you. Because my "Truth-seeking journey" or whatever you want to call it started with you and now many years later it continues with you. But yes I'm a bad student because I don't make any progress, so I probably shouldn't even say this. It's not good for your reputation etc. I'm sorry. But hey not everyone can be succesful. Before I started this nonduality stuff I was really into the multiverse thing (in a kinda scientific way). And I still think that the multiverse probably exists.

Yes.. No I haven't seen that. I don't like copy/paste stuff from some people to all other people. Like "I could do this and that, and that means also you can do the same thing." It doesn't work like that. No. No. Yes. No. Not everyone has the same opinion. But yeah sometimes I can think that some things are nice. For example the sky, or a good song.

@Random witch Sorry if I wasted your time. But I admit that I might be deluded. You had more success in convincing me than most or all other people. So see it as a success. But I can't promise that it will change anything, but who knows.

They are monitoring them yes but I'm not sure that we would be able to eliminate the threat in time. But ok yes maybe they could eliminate it.

It's basically 100% guaranteed that it will happen, so it's not less likely. There's a average time interval how often big asteroids hit earth, and if I remember right we have already passed that average interval. So it will happen any day now. We would be at fault for it because we aren't putting enough effort on preparing and practicing on how to eliminate the threat. We aren't trying our best.

@Random witch If everyone on earth would tell me that I can be president, I still wouldn't believe them. I know myself best. No one else. You tell me that I can get a partner even when you haven't met me, you don't know anything about me, you haven't even seen a picture of me. Maybe I know better than you.. I actually don't wait that I will miraculously get a partner. I don't think I will ever get a partner. I have lost hope. But maybe I still deep inside have some hope.. and that's probably stupid. Maybe it's just a primitive instinct thing. Maybe I don't want a partner hard enough because I know that even if I would get one she would either cheat on me or break up with me. So what is the point. I guess the solution would be to get a new partner, but that would again be difficult, it was hard enough one time, but pull it off a 2nd time after getting emotionally destroyed from the break up? ?
