I only see subjective opinions and beliefs in this thread. My opinion/belief is: I don't know.

I think it's a form of anthropomorphism onto reality. "I can dream, therefore reality must be a dream." "We have computers which can simulate stuff, therefore reality must be a computer simulation." "Humans can be loving, therefore God must be love." Etc.

I'm just not buying your idea that sleeping is awesome. Try to convince someone else maybe. Why does the waking state even exist if sleep is the most desireable thing. I'm too old (33) for these mental games. I have already gone through that phase in my life.

That's irrelevant, because what I feel after waking up applies only to what I feel after waking up.

Or.. there is a basic sense of time in normal deep sleep. Because I have experienced general anesthesia, and the moment I became unconscious was the same moment when I woke up. So in general anesthesia there truly isn't anything, it's much deeper than normal deep sleep. I think that death is like being put under general anesthesia. The moment you die is the moment when you wake up again, but in a different form and without memories from the previous life.

No, deep sleep is just nothing. Not enjoyable or anything.

Lack of doubt doesn't mean anything. Many people are 100% sure about many things, so they don't have doubt, yet it turns out that they are completely wrong. For example a child can have no doubt that santa claus exists, yet it turns out that he doesn't exist.

I think you can't know. You might think that you know, but you could be wrong/deluded anyway. A bunch of people here will say stuff about how they know, but I don't think they know, they only think they know.

I don't know how many I have approached, but many. Just getting laid a few times doesn't mean anything. I will never be happy unless I find my soulmate and wife, which of course wont happen. My shyness and insecuretiness are permanent and they permeate my entire soul. Which means that nothing can change them. At least I'm consistent. I don't understand how some people can get more confident from stupid things like getting laid or get muscular from working out or whatever.

You can always claim "you didn't do it in high enough numbers". It's just a convenient way for you to think that you are right. All 3 girls who I have slept with.. I met them online. So the online method is infinitely much better than any other method.
