I am about to start a daily " Visualization / Manifestation" Habit. It's hard convincing my mind to do this... But I believe in the power of the subconscious. If anyone has actually harnessed the law of attraction / Visualization of achieving a goal or a better lifestyle before, please share. PLEASE do not write long paragraphs or give vague airy fairy spiritual answers. I'm open to a spiritual explanation, but it must be grounded in practicality, & you must have actually experienced this habit work yourself (anecdotal proof), ... I do not trust your response if you're just parotting what you read / heard > ONLY comment if the law of attraction actually worked for you achieving a clear goal, & be concise in your answer! * Bonus points if you share how you "used LOA to build a business, get a girlfriend, move country, earn 6 figures" (something tangible & ambitious). Here is the video I watched. I am watching it for the 7th time today & taking notes, because I need to remember & understand why I'm doing it or I'll quit. I just hope I'm not wasting my time with this whole process.

Can anyone link me to the best pages on law of attraction / manifestation. I know how you do it but more also people recording how it actually helped them & how they used it. -
John Anthony Lifestyle. More plates more dates has some solid advice too.

I agree with this from my experience. Coffee makes it impossible for me to concentrate. It doesn't feel balanced enough. I struggle to read, listen to stuff, I become frantic. Sometimes too much energy is the problem.
-
Chia latte is the only drink I buy at the café. Tastes amazing too !
-
5PM ??? 1 Cup after 12AM & I will struggle. I can't even drink coffee anymore, I am allergic now.

Yes. take the rage out on an inanimate object like a bag, become an animal, scream & go crazy. Best not to take it out on a human. But definitely learn martial arts, at least then people won't make you feel threatened & they'll probably sense it off you.

@datamonster If he's a "complete douchebag" then 99.999999% of are even bigger douchebags. Where do you get that opinion from? He's open minded, hilarious, entertaining, & endorses positive values which have helped me. I don't worship him or think he's a genius ... but He's a better, more charismatic person that 99.9999% of people I tend to meet, see. He's done a great thing with his podcasts, had some really interesting guests covering a wide variety of topics that have spread awareness, opened my mind to stuff I didn't know existed & is arguably the best podcaster/interview in the planet due to a mix of his conversation style & charisma. I also love how you use the deductive term "complete douchebag", completely ignoring all his good qualities & actions. Even if he isn't some super smart genius, he is at least a funny, entertaining charismatic guy who's cool to listen to sometimes when you just want to drift off in the evening. It's refreshing to have people like that. The kind of guy I would enjoy you'd hanging out with. -

Focusing to broadly on the category of investment is not sufficient. E.G "Is Real estate a good investment" It always is. It just depends : There's tons of real estate investments, bought at the wrong time in the wrong place. But if you say, have a syndicate or great connections, you could find a steal bargain say of cheap real estate in somewhere like Budapest if you know the right guy, buy at ridiculously low prices > (Say you knew the area was to be uptrending /tourist attractions coming in, but it's currently a sleeping giant) - renovate a place & charge way more for rental, as the uptrend occurs in several months or year say then whilst still charging even below the market price typically for typical tourist/holiday rentals ect.., creating a win win for customer, all because you got in there early or had some good connections. However, focusing on categories is useful too. Think ahead to the next 3 /5/10/20 years. What's coming? VR, robotics, prosthetics technology, Video games, AI, Electric /self driving vehicles, Renewable energy systems, computer advancements, decentralised Finance, Based on this list alone, it's pretty obvious that investing & ethics are not mutually exclusive & in fact, it's the "ethical" investments that will milk you the most money. TESLA for instanced 14X in a year the last couple years, because they provide value to the world. This will happen with AI, Neur link, electric vehicle going forward. -
or do people think for books that merely writing down an overall summary of notes is better I'm quite OCD so I always feel like i'm missing out if I don't catch every detail. Probably toxic attitude
-
I thought you stressed that taking notes was imperative for studying & learning? So when is it best to take notes vs not take notes
-
I am officially done with this journal. FUCK ALL MY PREVIOUS POSTS. FUCK THE PAST. THE PAST ME. FUCK PAST TOXICITY TRAUMA & FAILURE THAT COULD STILL BE POISINING MY PSYCHEE I LET IT ALL GO. NEW YEAR. NEW JOURNAL (Or no journal) & NEW ME MUTHERFUCKER YES I USED THAT CLICHE NO FUCKS GIVEN !!!!! JUST FOCUSING ON MYSELF NOW, NO ENVY, NO JEALOUSY, NO COMPARING, NO EGO (Maybe a little bit) (BUT EGO WILL BE TAMED!) I don't find this kind of thought expression release useful, better off with life coaching, mediation & mentors. However, I maybe will create a new journal > purely based on tracking my routines & goals ect.. (But may keep it private). Otherwise I am done with this shit. No more rants, no debating or arguing with people, no more mindlessly watching YouTube videos or mindless doing anything! I am going full left brain for 6 months straight > Productivity, optimization, organization, lifestyle hacks, pragmatism, resourcefulness, strategy, goal setting & ruthless action. Final note. I command my subconscious my mind to take consistent action towards setting specific goals & taking consistent action towards improving my net worth, self - education, continually enhancing productivity & optimizing my lifestyle. TIME TO BE STRATEGIC MUTHERFUCKER, (I will not be fucking mums, defo not my own u sick freak readers I see u jerry) Secondly, I command my subconscious mind to improve my gut health, dental health cognition & sleep quality. Pickup / Dating will be mostly put on hold for 3-6 months. I SEE U FUTURE ME IN 3 MONTHS : I WILL RETURN TO THIS JOURNAL ONLY THEN ! & I WILL FIND OUT ON JUNE THE 1ST HOW I HAVE DONE .... WILL I LIVE UP TO MY EXPECTATIONS? > ON JUNE 1ST I WILL COMMENT ON THIS JOURNAL & DECLARE IF I HAVE ACHIEVED ANY OF MY GOALS. WILL I HAVE A MUCH BIGGER INCOME? WILL I STILL HAVE HOLES IN MY SHOES? WILL I STILL BE LIVING IN THIS SHITTY AREA ? WILL I FEEL OPTIMISTIC OR LET DOWN ? WILL I FEE PROUD OF MYSELF ? WILL I BE MORE EDUCATED, SKILLED, TRAINED ? WE WILL SEE ...................

LOOOOOOOOOOL exactly wtfff. I actually love to play chess. But I see it as an addiction like playing video games. I need to cut it down tbh. Gonna play a game now as I feel shit about myself loool. I mean I hope chess is beneficial cause I play it way too often. Maybe we should agree both are beneficial. I would never agree that chess is more beneficial.
-
But again learning a language can be a lot of practice. You learn it talking to others. There will need to be some route / theory practice, but you quickly get that out the way & then everything else you pick up naturally through conversation, environment, immersion. I like playing chess but it's more like an addictive hobby that makes me feel guilty. When I practice Spanish I just feel my future life getting 1% better each day. Chess does nothing for you life. Honestly who cares so much about "training the mind" as much as a better life. Strategically Learning a new language (that will be relevant to your lifestyle) + travel = > Interesting variety of friends, beautiful women, potentially > money, > confidence, > cultural experience. Playing chess = > addiction, feeling more shit about yourself. I do agree with you though that I have no interest in learning Arabic or Chinese. This is a complete waste of time for me. But advanced Spanish, some basic French & maybe basic Italian would be worth it. Because I like Mediterranean & American culture. Plan to live around these countries. I don't see how anyone could argue that this would not be beneficial for me. I don't want to live there & only speak English, because that's just boring. But yeah learning "20 languages" vaguely I can't be fucked.
-
Yes. I agree with you that Rosetta Stone & " Timothy says hello in 20 different languages" is stupid & pointless. Learning languages completely alters your perspective in 2 ways : 1. Because you can now engage more with the new country or culture which expands your horizon on lifestyle, culture, social customs ect.. 2, Because your thinking capacity is now expanded as each language bounds to an extent how you think. I'm surprised you are bilingual because most people feel really lucky that they grew up that way. I am assuming you are a strong introvert / anti social type ?
-
I use brave browser so I can't use blocksite as it's a chrome extension. How do I enjoy chess without being addicted (especially in evening) Same thing with anything else too
-
@Preety_India This is the last time I will qoute you or engage with you & I really am pissed I have to take time out of my evening to clear up your misconception of my paragraph : I stated greezy chicken shops because that is the strongest memory in my mind, I went there all the time as a school kid & remember the greezy chicken in my fingers. I also mentioned macdonalds & Chicken shops isn't exclusive to asain culture, my local chicken shop is run by white british people. It's just such so ridiculous because I'm the guy who loves multiculturalism, I hate speaking 1 language, being in 1 place, I love many aspects of Asian culture & any other cultures. Also, how dare you spin my words like that without any clear obvious connection between what I said & what you misconstrued. I guess you "can't drop the itch" to constantly antagonize & create drama out of thin air on this forum & I don't respect that nor do I rate your energy. You clearly have a "better an above everyone here to set the moral high ground" complex. Well I'm done talking to you now please don't harass me again.
-
@Javfly33 Leave out the hypersensitive Bullshit. I said nothing wrong & make no apology, nor will I discuss further.
-
@Javfly33 wdym oh gad ?? Wasn't coming from a sense of bitterness I was saying that as an objective observation, but it's not a negative one. Women have been abused & enslaved for centuries & now they've got it better than men at least in the west ... & thank god for that. I think it's great thing. When I meant given to you on a plate I was just referring to dating, although if you are an attractive women then that does get you jobs, money ect... (I am not saying this is fair or a good thing, it is just a cold truth)

i use chess.com

@mmKay Fair play. I just remember going to Coastal Spain once & being literally shocked by what I saw, it was as if I had just landed on mars. It felt like a paradise. Not only were they all hot, but I'd rarely see that kind of look in the UK. They all looked feminine, tanned, fit & healthy & had amazing bodies. In the UK, they look fat, pale, sometimes masculine & they typically age very badly & quickly
-
@StarStruck Doesn't it depend on the state? (E.g. LA = filled with hot girls, Texas perhaps not ?) Most likely a TON more than the UK. I Highly doubt it beats Spain, Canary Islands, Holland perhaps, perhaps sweeden, Hungary, Russia
-
I'm curious to what you mean please briefly elaborate (Haven't seen it) @LordFall
