  1. Why did the chicken cross the road? To get to the other side.
  2. How badly do you want to understand the spiritual teachings? Is it simple curiosity or something you’re yearning to discover?
  3. @Blackhawk That sounds nice, but not everyone is ready to hear it so bluntly. It’s like trying to force a child to learn algebra when they haven’t even learned arithmetics yet.
  4. You may need to ease the gas pedal on your “spiritual” pursuits temporarily, as it seems like it’s turning into its own web of attachment and beliefs. Also, I don’t know how close you were to your father. If you were, I’m sorry for your loss. Do you have any hobbies or interests that relax your mind and keep you focused? I would recommend integrating those activities back into your life at the time if that’s something you’re open to.
  5. About a couple weeks ago, I had an experience (possibly lucid dream?) where I had a spontaneous and intuitive ability to float. It felt blissful for the first few seconds, but immediately switched to fear. Do you know of any resources that explain a similar experience?
  6. Is the “you” you believe yourself to be completely (or at least substantially) gone anytime during the experience?
  7. You’ll catch a glimpse of the ox’s tail when you least expect it. But don’t worry, you won’t stay shocked forever. In fact, if you’re wise enough, it will help mature you immensely.
  8. Slow and steady wins the race (yes, even with psychedelics!)
  9. You’re on the right path. Don’t rush, as an old teacher of mine once told me. Enjoy the journey.
  10. I can tell that you’re a really caring and responsible boyfriend. Thank you for leading by example.
  11. Don’t force yourself into doing something you don’t want to do. Likewise, find what you’re passionate about, and don’t use “spirituality” as an excuse for why you shouldn’t discover what you’re passionate about. Creating a “spiritual ego” is one of the biggest traps on this journey.
  12. Nice. I struggle with trying to control things to go a certain way; it’s freeing to remind myself that life unfolds better when we learn to let go and allow our natural gifts to shine.
  13. Hey friend. I highly recommending watching Noah Elkrief, and see if you feel a connection to his teachings. He’s really good at focusing on the emotional aspect of this journey.
  14. Search inwards, not outwards. I hope you understand what I’m subtly alluding to.
  15. At the end of the day, nobody is forcing you, or anybody to take psychedelics. But remember, psychedelics are becoming more and more mainstream as time moves on. In the future, the decision to take them or not will become less foggy as more research and personal experiences is done with them. Also consider: We don’t think twice about owning a smartphone. Even in developing countries people own smartphones. 20 years ago, the idea of massive amounts of people owning smartphones wasn’t even possible, maybe only to a few. What do you think people’s perspective on psychedelics will be 20 years from now?
  16. Don’t see resistance as a bad thing. Just like how you go to the gym and do resistance training. It may seem bad at first, but you grow from it. And for any meditation practitioner, you all know that intuitive feeling of peace you observe when you temporarily let go of your attachments.
  17. I can sense that you still have much attachments in your reality. Don’t worry, I do too. I recommend this video. It has great insights, and also gets to the deeper root of why you and I feel “antisocial”.
  18. Hey friend. Yes, I’ve experienced this a few times before. Notice how even these “super human” experiences come and go. Now it’s up to you to decide how you want to interpret them. All is your teacher in this game called life.
  19. You are imagining that there is a “human” and “animal” perspective. In the ultimate sense, there’s no such thing.
  20. This reminds of the time I was a kid and was afraid of swallowing medications/pills and going on roller coasters. It wasn’t until I was “pushed” by Grace/God/Infinity/etc. to just go for it. As soon as I did those things for the first time, my reality completely shifted and I was immediately able to do them again.
