  1. You still wouldn't take the apple though. I might be clinging to one end of the paradox, but aren't you clinging to the other end? I'm living in my tree house and you're hugging the tree. Don't I have to do one or the other? Especially when you're trying to show someone what you think they may not be seeing?
  2. @tsuki I drew a picture for you.
  3. Don't worry, it's just a stage. Don't stop yourself from enjoying life and the illusion in the meantime. The colors will be brighter than ever before, I promise. You're just learning how to see them and experience their beauty without having to name them or having to decide whether you like or don't like them. They are so much better when seen without that lens. The problem is that you've added another lens of thought over them in the meantime because you're thinking about how they aren't really there. Just keep practicing dropping the thoughts and simply experiencing life. Drop the thoughts about how you should be seeing things and try just to actually see them.
  4. @DrewNows Not yet, I'll look for it. Time means nothing Eckhart. @Aaron p Thank you. Did you click my signature instead of my link? @thesmileyone Tempted to make that my avatar.
  5. It's all a dream. But I can make it a good dream or a bad one, it's up to the illusory me. Babies care intensely about their survival, it's the only thing that care about. Is that ego? Love and survival are the only drives we are born with. We take our first breath and then we cry, we cry asking for love, asking for nourishment. I die every night when I sleep then I'm born again into the world of form.
  6. the ego is perfect. If everything is love, you are love. The ego was created so that love can exist. Love is a giving/receiving. It can't be given if there's no separation between giver and receiver. Our ego cuts us off from love. So out of suffering, we look for a solution and we work through the ego. We finally fully realize our nature as love itself, as perfection. And then we go back to life as an ego mostly lost in form, existing in time, but this time finally able to love for the first time. The illusions exists so that love can exist. The illusion is beautiful, the illusion is perfect. Go do the things you love. When the illusion is causing you pain you disconnected from love. Seek and have enlightenment experiences because they feel good, and for no other reason. Stop trying to break the illusion, stop trying to break yourself. You exist for one reason and one reason only, to love, be loved and have a good time. What am I missing?
  7. When you type, or think or talk you're approximating the infinite. That can't do done. There is no logical standpoint. Logic=lies. This is all lies. I am choosing to lie to you so that we can have this conversation. When I decide to stop lying, I'll look out the window and drop all my thoughts.
  8. There are no enlightened gurus. There is no I but as far as conversation is concerned there IS an I and a you. Just admit both of you keep getting lost in logic. You might as well get lost in logic, form and judgement, admit it to yourself and enjoy it. If you choose to have a conversation with someone, realize you entered a world of lies so you can discuss lies with each other.
  9. Why? Because it's fun. Because it's beautiful. So that you can experience love. What is love without a receiver and a giver? You have to learn how to love unconditionally. You have to open your eyes to see the beauty in the illusion and the impermanence. You have to become a human limited by form and vulnerabilities to love. But if you don't know yourself as everything you will get so caught up in form that you'll be too afraid to love and never experience it fully. Don't cling so much to truth and fail to let yourself experience the beauty of the illusion. I used this analogy in another thread for someone else but it's perfect here. You're like a kid at Easter who won't eat his Easter bunny because he doesn't want to destroy it and wants to keep it forever. It's chocolate. It was made for you to eat. Eat the damn Easter bunny and enjoy it.
  10. @Leo Gura Do you believe that the level of intelligence someone has is proportionate to the depth of awakening they are capable of?
  11. I try not to cling. But I'm holding on to it until it's no longer useful. Fractals are cool. So is the finite.
  12. @Truth Addict It's a beautiful truth that we are always love and connected with love whether we know it or not. But love cannot be given or received until we are conscious of our connection with love. Love is the prize you were looking for out of this work. You had it all along but you didn't know it. So go explore it in all its forms.
  13. Because there can be no existence of faith without the existence of doubt.
  14. There's no such thing as honesty and dignity. We all have ungrounded beliefs. It's ok. It's beautiful. I live the joke. I am the joke.
  15. This is why I believe so much in my experience as form. Out of my experience and commitment to the absolute, I denied my form. Out of the formless the dead took on a form, subtle as it was because I was already dead myself it was able to communicate to me. It reminded me of certain forms that had lived, done great work on earth and died and that I as my form self existed as an extension of it so that I could continue that work. I'm here as form to create and manipulate form, all out of love and connection because that is my purpose here on earth.
  16. @legendary Its it wrong of me to be concerned that the object of this community seems to be to hack our way there as quickly as we can and not enjoy the journey?
  17. @tsuki If there's no me and you then how can we be having this conversation? I can have it because I do have it. You want me to ignore/dismiss duality and form yet live it, but you you ignore/dismiss grows stronger. You cannot ignore/dismiss a part and know the whole.
  18. Love does not say how I should or should not behave but you're telling me how I should think about love. Do you want to have the upper hand when it comes to love? Do you not want to surrender to all of it's many forms to know it's depth fully? You're like a kid at Easter who won't eat his Easter bunny because he thinks it's mean and wants to keep it forever. It's chocolate. It was made for you to eat. I have something you don't have. You have something I don't have.
  19. Affect with the real thing is the point of the illusion. great love cannot exist or know itself without duality and illusion. It's fucking beautiful. Step back into the illusion, forget who you are and remember. It's the dance of life. You preach, not, it, not it, not it. You have a promise of future heaven and salvation. THIS IS IT. Illusion and everything. Surrender to the illusion. It's the last thing you won't surrender too.
  20. @David Hammond But you don't stay in your vehicle when you get to your destination. Oh good! I finally made it to the Grand Canyon! I'll just stay in the car.
  21. That's not self-realization. That's selling your soul to the devil, (complete and total identification with self). That is not awakening, it is complete and total commitment to one side of the paradox.
  22. Everyone watched Breaking Bad and wants to be the Walter White of spirituality. You guys don't want to be enlightened, you want be be some bad ass, that's why you guys love Osho so much.
