@now is forever Should? Follow your visions without making them goals.
-
@now is forever What is time? What is scheduling? What is a goal?
-
@Zigzag Idiot There are mistakes?
-
Oh MICHAEL JACKSON! How conflicted were we all that we loved your music, yet thought you were a pedophile. You were Jesus Christ all along. You lived and died to save our souls.
-
@Zigzag Idiot @now is forever Follow your obsessions. Are you afraid to lose yourself in form? Are you afraid? To lose? Yourself? In form?
-
This was so right and so perfect too. Reconcile right and wrong within yourself. Don't ask others to do it, they can't do it for you. They are you.

@kieranperez Was completely right and on point in his comment. It felt like a knife to my heart and I needed it.
-
Oh Tsuki. You needed me and that popcorn I gave you so that you could sit back, relax and enjoy the movie, didn't you?

All talk is shit.
-
That's what we're here for. Colleagues. People. Us. It's all the same.
-
If you were talking to yourself, you'd have been one and in tune with that colleague. You weren't talking to yourself, were you?
-
@tsuki How do you know just what I need/already knew? Oh. Gotcha.
-
Don't you know that more people are reading your comment than just the OP?

@Shaun Then is not now silly. Do you enjoy thinking so much? Or does it make you miserable? -

@Shaun So when I had my first baby I didn't know about any of this stuff and they really scared me in the hospital about SIDS. I didn't enjoy him almost at all. I couldn't connect with my baby because I kept imagining him as if he were dead. But he wasn't. He was my beautiful perfect baby in that moment and I couldn't see him clearly. He has autism. I know that I didn't cause it but I also know that I did. With my second baby I had read Eckhart Tolle's The Power of Now and applied it before, during my pregnancy and after. She gave me such joy. Just holding her and smelling her head was wonderful. When I saw her face my brain lit like a Christmas tree with joy. That is the difference between being in the now and imagining horrors in your mind. Your experience. Right now. Right fucking now. Is the ONLY thing you are asked to accept. -

@Shaun "Imagine" that it's "very real"? How on earth do I do that? -

@Shaun But how do those things feel if you take away time and your judgments? How do they feel when you are actually doing them in the present moment? Go find out. -

@Shaun You've never just started to get frostbite in your hands or feet and felt what it was like to warm them up again? What about scratching an itch? What about eating past being full? What about telling someone you love them and not knowing if they love you back? What about plunging into a slightly too cold pool on a hot day? -
It's when you see beauty and don't call it beautiful.

@Leo Gura Those deaf ears you're perceiving are your own.

The words are just a pointer. "There's only now", is the shortest clearest pointer for most people. It's like yoda, do or do not, there's no try. Don't let the concept of thousands of hours come into your mind at all or you'll miss the now.
-
@Leo Gura There are no thousands of hours. Only now.

Next week. I was ranting on that exact point in a thread a few days ago. Do you see how you have to teach in order to learn? But you can't teach with any separation between you and your student. Because if there is any authority in your teachings you'll miss the message. Like I did.

Have you ever experienced times in your life where you couldn't really tell what the line was between pleasure and pain? -
You have to live life as if it's real. All the while knowing that it's not. This is why enlightenment is really about bringing space in between the times you lose yourself in form. Then you find that you're losing yourself in form less and less. You can't physically try to push the forms away and evolve. Keep coming back to now.
